A terrific story with plenty of twists and shocks to keep you engaged. Fantastic story. But one of these characters drove me to distraction with how naive they were - to the point where I nearly set the book aside, I think, though, this shows the skill of the author in creating such a vivid character.

Paul is working at a school which has recently had a lot of bad press. He is working hard as acting deputy head to turn the school around. As well as having a good job Paul and his girlfriend Jenna are also happy and are expecting their first child together.

Things couldn’t be going better for Paul until he realises his wife Nicole is back however that can’t be possible, she’s dead and although Pauls memory is vague he seems to remember that he was the one to kill her so how can this be possible.

With Nicole’s return Pauls life seems to be going from bad to worse him and Jenna are both receiving threats from Nicole which they are both hiding from one another which seems to be pulling the couple apart, and Pauls been told he has to reapply for the job he is currently doing. As time moves on Paul and Jenna realise that Nicole doesn’t want them to be together and that they are going to have to face things together in order to stop Nicole having everything her own way. Paul is scared to go to the police afraid that the truth of his past may come up however with Jenna and his unborn baby in potential danger in the end Paul is left with no choice but to.

There’s a nice twist at the end of the book I did have a vague idea it was coming but I still enjoyed it just as Paul and Jenna think all their problems have come to an end something else is thrown up which throws them completely off course. At times I found this book a little slow and predictable but I did still really enjoy it and will be on the look out for more books by Amanda Rigby.

Thank you to NetGalley, the author and the publisher for an advance copy of this book in exchange for an open and honest review.

This ARC was provided to me via Kindle by Boldwood Books and #NetGalley for my honest opinion. Opinions expressed are completely my own.

Twisted, twists and turns, a spellbinding tale for all.

Chapter one will get you hook line and sinker and keep you reading till the end. Some clever twists along the way and the final few chapters are page turners that will make you keep reading and not put it down! However the middle did not hit the button for me and feel something was missing. I would have like to have revisted them after the birth of the baby to see how things had progressed and see if the lies had finished. The thought of lie or being lied to with my partner is alien so maybe that is why I could not get my head into that part but the writing collaboration is one I would look out for again..

Remember Me is a twisted story that has it all: secrets, lies, red herrings and some really nasty characters which I just love.

There is also the naive character just like Jenna who at the beginning believes everything her boyfriend says about his ex fiancee.

Even though the hints are there, the ending still manages to take me by surprise.

Great collaboration between the two authors and it is no wonder they won the thriller contest for Boldwood books.

I just loved the story.

Thanks to NetGalley and Boldwood books for an intriguing page turning story.

A good, well written book that held my interest throughout with good characters.

For me personally it wasn't an edge of seat thriller but the story line was good. and I would recommend this book.

Thank you to Netgalley and Boldwood Books for allowing me to read this book.

I just reviewed Remember Me? by Amanda Rigby. #RememberMe #NetGalley
Thank you Amanda for letting me read this one for an honest review.
The book had a build up which lead to raised expectations . I had caught on to the identity of the perpetrator with the subtle hints the author dropped twice during the narrative.
This one delivered to my expectations.

A clever collaborative thriller which keeps the reader guessing right till the end. The characters are interesting and relatable and the flashbacks/ fantasies/ dreams are spine chilling in their detail.
The only jarring point for me were the constant American vocabulary references even though it is set in Leicestershire. Eg Nightstand, Hall stand, 6th-grader, mail slot. I found this odd and awkward and really detracted from the authenticity of the story.

Thanks Netgalley for allowing me to read this book. Paul is leading the life he always wanted and a baby on the way. He is worried when he gets a text message from his ex. He knows it can't be here because she passed away. He is questioning that night and is unsure what someone else knows. This book kept me guessing.

// REVIEW //
Remember Me? by Amanda Rigby.
Turns out, I can’t get enough of thrillers recently. This was a really slow burn story with plenty of suspects. I was left guessing and was so glad it turned out the way it did… then the last 3 pages happened and ruined everything. Aaaaaargh!! If this wasn’t an ebook, I would have launched it across the room then set it on fire..
Paul’s life is going well. He’s deputy head of a great school, has a wonderful girlfriend and is expecting his first child. Until he gets a message from his ex-fiancé that he’s pretty sure is dead, cause he killed her.. I really enjoyed the writing style and didn’t know who had done it until the last possibly second. I was so surprised. If the last 3 pages didn’t exist it would have been a 4 1/2 star read. But they do so…

What a fantastic start to the book, draws you right in.
It is written by Amanda Ashby and Sally Rigby, both authors I've never read before.
A great psychological thriller which had me racing through the pages to find out what happened next. I recommend this one. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Intense! Exciting! This book will keep you on your toes with lots of suspense and red herrings. I didn’t want to put the book down and read it, flipping pages as fast as I could. Can your past come back to haunt you? Can you block the horrors of your childhood? What if what you remember isn’t true?

The author has created some wonderful characters, that are likeable and believable. I couldn’t help but like Jenna and Paul, even with his patchy memory. When they both are stalked by his ex-girlfriend things start to change and they both start to question their relationship. The author has written a story that twists and turns, leaving you confused and wondering just what is real and true.

If you love mysteries and intrigue then this is a must read for you. A huge thank you to Boldwood Books and NetGalley for the opportunity to read this amazing book.

This is the story of Paul acting deputy head teacher in a private school. His girlfriend Jenna is pregnant with his baby and his life is going well until the day his ex girlfriend Nicole pops up on social media. Paul is shocked because he killed her in an argument. He starts to wonder if he doesn’t remember the events of that night correctly because of a condition he has suffered from since being a child in care. Then Nicole starts targeting Jenna. Soon both Paul and Nicole’s lives are in danger,

I enjoyed this story. It was very fast moving even reflecting on the book not too much happened. I felt very invested in both Paul and Jenna’s characters. I loved how the traumatic past of characters had a direct effect on their current lives. There were lots of twists and turns throughout the story and plenty of suspects and red herrings. I will definitely be looking out for more books by these collaborated authors.

I'm not sure what to say about this book....... It's definitely twisted! A clever concept with a complex plot but I found it difficult to like any of the characters

This book was an okay read, but it didn't really grip me .I found it a bit slow, and did not enjoy reading it. Sorry ,I hope other readers enjoy it more.

I did not enjoy Remember Me as much as I had hoped. It was quite dark with a lot of focus on childhood abuse and mental health. I'm not really a fan of thrillers that center around narrators who are considered unreliable due to mental health issues. I also found the book to be a bit slow at parts and I struggled to finish it. Finally, the ending was unrealistic. I mean, mysteries/thrillers tend to be fiction; however, I do like them to be on the more realistic side. Personally, Remember Me wasn't for me.

I received an E-ARC copy of ‘Remember Me’ by Amanda Rigby in return for my honest review. After reading this book I can say what an amazing read this was and was a well-deserved winner of Boldwood books competition.

This story follows the deputy head of Hepworth Preparatory School Paul Henderson.

Paul Henderson has a loving girlfriend Jenna, a baby on the way and a pretty much promised permanent promotion to Deputy Head.

Suddenly a Facebook post from his ex-fiancée turns his life upside down. How can she be back when he killed her?

What follows is an intense thrilling ride as Paul tries to uncover forgotten memories from that disturbing night.
What actually happened? Is Nicole back? What does she want?

This book is amazing, it had me hooked the whole way through from start to finish. The constant wonder of whether Nicole is back or not, and what is going to happen next to Paul or Jenna just had me flying through each page.

The characters were very believable, and I loved that some of it was based in a school. That is just my opinion though as I work in a school.

It is hard to give this book the review it deserves as I don’t want to give much of the storyline away, there are many shocking secrets revealed and many intense moments.

Overall, an intense, and brilliantly written psychological thriller that will have you flying through the pages to find out what will happen next.

Wow!! Such a good read!! Totally unsuspectingly shocking!!! Started off strong and continued the whole way through! Story kept my attention for the whole book and had me on the edge of my seat!! Fantastically thrilling!! A must read!!

Oooh what an incredibly twisty plot this is. I mean first off you read the blurb and have already established before you even start reading that this guy Paul sounds like he’s a murderer. But then you think, no, it won’t be that simple - maybe he killed someone accidentally……”with his own bare hands”? That doesn’t really sound accidental.

So you begin the book, already intrigued. And Paul does seem like a really nice person. A school teacher who seems to quite enjoy his job. He has a perfectly pleasant girlfriend Jenna and together they’re expecting a baby which they’re both delighted about. Perhaps Paul seems a little over protective of Jenna, and especially of her pregnancy. Paul really wants this baby and he’s going to make sure they do everything by the book. Perhaps Jenna feels a little insecure as Paul seems reluctant to commit to actual marriage, he’s quite happy to jog along as they are for now.

It’s difficult to say much more about the plot as you really do need to read this yourself but suffice to say Paul didn’t have the best start in life growing up. He lives with guilt, he tends to have rather a low opinion of himself and as the book moves on we realise that Paul’s mental health is suffering. So that is all I’m going to say.

As the reader you never quite know which way the story is going to go. Paul is a very complex character who throws all sorts of spanners in the works with his memory full of holes. Then there’s Nicole, a constant thorn in the side of Paul. A very tense, very twisty story. I did wonder about one of the characters, and was right to wonder but would never have guessed the outcome which came as a complete surprise.

A very gripping, very tense read which I thoroughly enjoyed and a story which definitely kept me on my toes - brilliant!
