This is fun and interactive. The prompts and layout of the book will really invite readers to participate instead of sticking this journal in a drawer and forgetting about it.

It's so adorable and humorous! I loved the made-up quotes. It even mentions Adele and Beyonce. The prompts are thought provoking and well-organised. They will come in handy in pointing out the immediate problems at hand and creating self-awareness. I would totally buy it for myself.

A journal designed to help teenage kids tackle some of their problems. Peppered with inspirational messages and sometimes off-key sayings. This might resonate with some kids, but it definitely wouldn’t be something I would use stand alone. I would encourage kids to speak to someone about the prompts as well (if they feel comfortable doing so).

What a wonderful journal for a typing teen girl! I really loved the inspirational graphics and quotes. They matched so well with the journal entry questions. The questions are deep, without being over the top.

Since I am big on Journaling myself, I do wish the book translated better to more than teens and teens. However, I recognize that I'm not in the target demographic. If I had a daughter within the target audience, i would buy this for her! It's a great way to help young girls get in touch with their thoughts and emotions.

A gift-able journal peppered with inspirational quotes aimed for young women. Modern line drawings with very trendy quotes / slang breakup the prompts. Doby is a public speaker for young people -- that background shines here. Recommended for family members looking to give young women a journal for graduation.

LOVE this inspirational journal. The quotes are so spot-on for what teenage girls need to hear. I envision teenagers cutting out pages of this book & taping them to their walls as reminders of their own courage, strength, beauty, and intelligence. The quotes & graphics track the corresponding journal prompts perfectly. The journal prompts are perfectly written for teenagers - easy enough for them to understand, but challenging enough to make them contemplate some serious self-reflection. I really like the focus on goals, and how the strengths a girl already has will help her accomplish those goals. The colors and graphics are also trendy & perfect for the teenage market.

I'll definitely be buying a copy for my middle-school daughter as soon as this is released, and will likely order several more to give as birthday gifts to her friends as well. Excellent work, Candace Doby!

This book is fantastic for tween girls to help them find their confidence, self-love, and courage! Sprinkled throughout the book are journal prompts and designated spots for the reader to put their thoughts and to process, as well as motivational sayings and illustrations. This is definitely a book I’d buy for my ten year old, spunky cousin!

I liked the interactive parts of this book the most. It asks teens to examine their feelings with journal prompts and questions. They are good prompts that encourage teens to look inside and make a plan for better confidence and conquering issues. Personally, I did feel that some of the sayings in the book felt less supportive and more judgy or condescending. But maybe that is just my interpretation and others won't see it that way. 3.5 stars.

I received an ARC copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. Thoughts are 100% my own.

What a cool, fun, bright, bold, colorful book! I wish there had been something like this when I was a young teenager and I am definitely going to gift this to our two early teen granddaughters. I am sure that they will enjoy it and be inspired and encouraged by the questions and the ample space for considering and writing down the answers.

The author gently invites young girls to consider things like goals, success, fear, self doubt, self love, and more.

Highly recommend to any parents or grandparents of teenage girls!
