Hannah, a single Amish woman finds a baby in her family barn. A note left specifically for her asked her to care for the child. Unable to have children of her own, it was an answer to prayer.

Mike Coder, searching for his nephew due to the death of his sister and her giving him away, returns to his hometown of Hope Haven, Ohio. In his search, what he finds is more than he bargained for.

Her Amish Springtime Miracle is a beautifully written Amish tale filled with forgiveness, trust, love, and redemption. There are a lot of surprises and emotional upsets to keep you on the edge of your seat.

The ending wraps everything up well. A very uplifting and inspirational story that will warm your heart. Highly recommended. I received a complimentary copy of the book and a positive review is not required. All opinions are my own.

I found myself unable to get into the flow of the story. Unfortunately, this one didn’t work for me as I just wasn’t the right reader for this.

I loved this book! I enjoy Amish themed books. This shows differences between living the English life and why one would choose to live Amish over English. It is a story of how 2 people from different lifestyles can come together and the importance of family.

Faith is about focusing on your blessings instead of your losses.

Hannah Eicher a young Amish woman focused on the best blessing she had. Knowing she may not be able to have children on her own, she had discovered an abandoned baby in her barn. With the help of her community Amish and English, she was in the process of adopting the baby. With a note left with the baby from the mother, Hannah named her Grace. She experienced God's grace with the loss of her engagement to her fiancé. With her job at the bakery, Hannah met Englischer paramedic Mike Colder when he saved a customer at the bakery. They became friends with the opportunity of learning life saving skills. Mike Colder has a past at Hope Haven over 20 years ago that he is now facing. When he and Hannah become good friends, he sees the Amish in a new light. He also reveals to Hannah that he is looking for his sister's late baby boy that was adopted in the area. You probably know where this will lead.

Mike's past was the driving force in this romance so I am not going to give anything way but it was very redemptive. Hannah's faithfulness is what gave their friendship hope and waiting for God's best. I loved the heart of these two and the story about God's love for us thru adoption and 2nd chances.

A special thank you to Grand Central Publishing and Netgalley for the ARC and the opportunity to post an honest review.

Thank you Forever (Grand Central Publishing) for allowing me to read
Her Amish Springtime Miracle by Winnie Griggs

This is truly a heartwarming delightful story. This is only the second book I have read by Winnie and a total delight. It is such a unique storyline, full of unknowns, miracles and love.

Hanna Eicher is the owner of the town bakery. She was looking forward to her marriage , and having a family and children, but the doctor has told her she is unable to have children. Although devastated, she understood when her engagement is broken.

One evening Hanna finds a precious baby girl in her barn with a note asking her to raise the child. She is overjoyed to become a mom to Grace and adopt her.

When we join Hanna, it is almost a year after finding Grace, and the adoption is about to be final. An English paramedic, Mike Colder appears in his hometown to locate his sister’s child. Suddenly, it becomes clear that there are many loose ends to tie up between Mike, Hanna, Grace, and this Amish community.

How will this web become untangled? You must read Winnie Griggs’ 5-star book, Her Amish Springtime Miracle, when it is released, May, 24, 2022. Views are my own, and I was not required to give a positive review but happy to do so.

"Her Amish Springtime Miracle" reveals the power of hope and trust, in this Christian novel where Amish and Englisch cultures collide. When Hannah discovered an abandoned baby in her barn, she felt as if her life was finally fulfilled. Unable to have children of her own, and reeling from a broken courtship, Hannah embraces the child as her own miracle. She never counted on the appearance of Mike, the child's uncle, who desires to claim the child and adopt her. Faced with the loss of her miracle baby, Hannah faces heartbreak, while Mike discovers clues to his secret past. As he reconnects with lost family and realizes his feelings for Hannah and baby Grace, Mike must confront what he really wants his life to become.

This is a heart-tugging novel, with a plot that swiftly moves along to its conclusion. Hard decisions must be made by the strong characters, yet they never lose faith in the God who sustains them. Themes in this novel include fostering and adopting children, past lies and their present consequences, family ties, and the differences between Amish and non-Amish cultures. Readers of the previous book in the Hope's Haven series will recognize familiar characters and locales in cameo appearances, although this novel can be read as a stand-alone. Those who seek a clean read, without strong language or overt violence or intimacy, will find this an intriguing yet satisfying read. The Christian message is overt, yet an integral part of the story without being preachy or overbearing. Readers will sympathize with the predicaments of the characters and their difficult choices, and should prepare to shed a few tears whilst reading this novel. Highly recommended

I received this novel from the publisher and from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. The opinions expressed here are entirely my own.

This was a wonderful book written about a young woman named Hannah who finds a baby in the family barn. Hannah cannot have children, so this discovery was a gift from God. There was a note attached saying that she wanted Hannah to have the baby and raise it in the Plain community. When the book begins Hannah has started adoption proceedings and is currently a foster mom.

A new man arrives in town named Mike Cross. He and Hannah are immediately attracted to each other, but he is English so that’s a no go for Hannah. As they get to know each other Hannah finds out that he is in town looking for his long-lost nephew. He has found a diary of his sister’s who died in the past year and she writes about a baby that she gave away.

Hannah owns a bakery and does a lot of volunteer work. It is very interesting to read about the Amish community, her volunteer jobs, and getting to know Mike.

There are several surprises in the book, but along the way Hannah and Mike fall in love. Even though it is obvious to the reader as to what the bottom line will be, it takes a while for Hannah and Mike to figure out their future. I definitely recommend this book and I’m giving it five stars. It is also part of the series which I would be interested in reading the rest of the books.

Description:
Last spring, Hannah finds a baby girl in her barn. God had answered her prayer & now nearly a year later, her adoption is close to approval. But then, Mike Colder arrives in Hope’s Haven. An ‘Englischer‘ paramedic Mike is searching for his nephew, the child of his deceased sister, who would be about a year old. What he keeps secret is — until the age of seven, he grew up Amish right there in Hope’s Haven.

Review:
Such an enjoyable read. As the story begins, Hannah Eicher is hurting just as any woman would be given the doctor’s diagnosis. It would take a miracle to ease her heart and God provided one. A sweet baby girl left in the barn. So, "Her Amish Springtime Miracle" isn’t about hoping for and finally receiving a miracle … it is about *keeping* the miracle.

When Mike Colder arrives in Hope’s Haven, the smooth wonderfulness of the past year begins to unravel. And it is more than just Baby Grace and Mike’s missing nephew — she and Mike “connect” from the start and develop a true friendship. Which, of course, just as we would want it to–it becomes more than friendship. But he is an ‘Englischer’ and she is Amish.

The author, Winnie Griggs, could easily have made this a 90-110 page book but we readers would have lost the fullness of what all goes into Mike’s search and Hannah’s acceptance. We wouldn’t meet other interesting characters and fun situations. Or discover that Mike loves Hannah’s chocolate whoopie pies.

"Her Amish Springtime Miracle" can be read standalone. The book was my first by the author.

A four-star rating because I felt the ending was too easily accomplished. It felt as if one day everything was not going to end happily — then bam! It does. There was no soul-searching of the final decision — yet, the prior 300 pages had plenty.

The book is a good read. A heart-warming read. If you like Amish stories, you are sure to like this one.

I received a complimentary e-ARC copy of "Her Amish Springtime Miracle" via NetGalley from the publisher, Forever (Grand Central Publishing), Forever. A positive review was not required; the opinions expressed in this review are entirely my own.

What a sweet story! This novel goes a little deeper than most as it tenderly examines the dynamics of family ties. Hannah is a caring young woman who finds she is unable to bear children of her own. But Gotte steps in and answers her prayers in a remarkable way when baby Grace is left on her family’s farm for her specifically to raise. Hannah seems remarkably modern as she balances single motherhood and ownership of a popular local bakery. Add a handsome “Englisch” visitor, and she’s suddenly working all hours to meet everyone’s needs. (I loved the description of the Amish as “always busy yet unhurried.”) But when Grace’s family suddenly surfaces, Hannah’s world threatens to implode. Can she give up her daughter without loosing her faith? Or will she compromise her baptismal vows to stay Grace’s mamm? Is there a third option? I love the twists and turn in this story, and how honestly hearts are examined…and changed. I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley and was not required to post a review.

Hannah Eicher is devasted to learn she will be unable to bear children. Being a mother has been her life-long desire as an Amish-raised female. One spring evening, she discovers a sweet baby girl who has been left in the barn. A note with the baby indicates the mother has specifically chosen Hannah to be the mother and raise her child. As adoption proceedings draw close, heartbreaking news about the child leaves Hannah devastated that she may lose the child.

Englischer, Mike Colder learns that his late sister had given up a baby boy in their childhood hometown. Mike returns to find the child so he can adopt and raise him.

When surprising events are revealed that Mike had no idea of in his life, both he and Hannah are given news that shakes their foundations of faith and family.

This is the first book I’ve read by Winnie Griggs. I loved the book, the flow of the story and especially the characters. I highly recommend the book and look forward to reading others written by this author.
