As a mum it can feel a little self indulgent to buy your children books that talk about how great you are! But mums are great and this books celebrates it. Gorgeous illustrations and charming little rhymes that remind you of the innocence of child hood and the joy of playing with your parents. It was also a timely reminder that taking some time out from our busy schedules to play and learn with our children can be invigorating and so completely rewarding. I cant wait to get a copy of this in hard cover to treasure with my little ones. Thankyou so much to netgalley, Buzzbooks and author Frieda Parks for a gorgeous story to love forever

The art in this book is beautiful! The illustrations are colorful, intricate and so pretty. They'll make great conversation starters to encourage kids to look for details and describe what's happening.

The overall message is a very sweet celebration of love and adventures between a devoted mother and daughter. The story is told in rhyme, but sometimes the meter felt a bit awkward--I tripped over some lines while trying to read this aloud. Also, just as a note to US readers, this is written in UK/Commonwealth English and some words/expressions may need to be explained to kids.

Many thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review!
