OMG how great. This Author can do no wrong. This book is beyond incredible and totally unputdownable! Just go in blind and you will read for hours. It's that great.

Woman Last Seen is a thriller about two women who go missing the same week. Leigh Fletcher and Kai Janssen are both happily married women from two different worlds. The detective know that women go missing all the time but there's something about these two women that doesn't sit well with them. They have a feeling they might be connected. But how? This book had tons of potential. I loved the idea and the writing was great. Till the end. Very disappointing but some people might enjoy it. I just wanted more.

This book was good. It was the first book I have read by Adele Parks. The ending didn't make sense though. It wasn't what I expected. All in All it was ok,. I am grateful i got to read this from netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

Woman Last Seen is about dark secrets, a double life, lies, and surprising outcome. Written in a way that had the tension mounting. Just when I thought, I had figured out the villain, another character caused pause. At the end, I had not guessed the villain. Overall, an entertaining, well written and compelling thriller which I enjoyed.

While I did enjoy this read, I didn’t find it to be favorite by Adele Parks. I did think it was well written, but just a tad too slow for me. Overall, I do think it had that signature Parks writing, which I love, and also her phenomenal character development! I wish it had been a bit faster paced, but overall I was able to easily finish it and enjoyed it! I definitely would highly recommend for those whom love the domestic suspense/drama type books, which give you some fun thrills, chills, twisty turns, and shocks!

I enjoyed the premise of this read, where are these missing women? We become involved in their lives, and wonder what has happened. I was convinced that one person, and then another was involved.
The author had me quickly looking for answers and enjoying this read, but the ending felt rushed, and
a bit disappointing, no, I didn't suspect, and was surprised! When the last page was turned, I felt like there should be a bit more, and some answers were not forthcoming.

This is boring. I used to love domestic thrillers, but lately - they’ve been giving absolutely nothing. This initially sounded exciting - two different women going missing in the same week; both from loving and, seemingly, happy families, and a detective who has an inkling that they might be connected.

This is off to a very slow start and that’s what has been putting me off. We started off somewhat strong with one of the characters waking up somewhere strange and chained down in a room. We then get some of said character’s backstory and what she was doing right before she went missing. The problem was, I just did not care. The details the author gave felt unnecessary and they just weren’t interesting. Nothing about any of the characters was interesting and the author really lost me when she had her character refer to hip hop/rap as “angry lyrics”. It just didn’t sit right with me because anyone who knows the music genre knows it’s so much more than that.

I was super excited to see one of her thrillers on @netgalley and could not wait to indulge. 𝑊𝑜𝑚𝑎𝑛 𝐿𝑎𝑠𝑡 𝑆𝑒𝑒𝑛 is quite the domestic thriller and I loved every twisted second of it!

This was definitely a slow burn and at points I wanted the plot to quicken- only because I really wanted to know who the villain was! Also, since there were many shady characters it was super unpredictable & questionable about who could be trusted.

I loved the cover and since I was into a mystery/thriller kick, I thought this seemed like an interesting idea. You have two women who have nothing in common, both disappear the same week, and the hunt is on for what happened to them.

From the looks of things, they are happily married, one has two wonderful children, and each has a different level of status. Could their disappearance be connected...the detective assigned will need to find out.

This was fine, figured out the situation which still was fine, but for me, the ending really didn't feel as fine. Still an interesting idea.

This is going to be a tough book to review without giving anything away. I had a couple suspects while reading, but the author did a good job at making me second guess myself.

Leigh met Mark shortly after his wife died. He had two kids and she sort of just blended into their lives. The kids became hers and she loved them like her own. Leigh couldn't have kids, so this was perfect. She kept her job and they got by. The oldest son was starting to push her away though. He started calling her Leigh and called her his stepmom. Mark just brushed it off, but it was getting to Leigh.

Kai met Daan and thought it would just be a hookup. He was super rich and didn't even live in London. But there was something about him and she couldn't stay away. They got married and lived in a penthouse after he transferred. Their marriage was steamy and pretty perfect.

Both women go missing. The detective is looking at both husbands, but it's the start of the pandemic and her boss just thinks the women took off. It's possible, but Detective Clements just can't let it go.

I gave this book 4 stars.

This was a twisty one. I loved this. I read this in one day. I Could not get enough. I loved the main Character and how the story flowed. I wish this one was longer.

Woman Last Seen is quite the story. Parks takes a unique twist to a that is usually associated with men. I was captivated by the tale and wondering who was behind the ominous events. The author Lets you think you know, but then adds more bends and curves to the roller coaster ride. When I deduced who was behind it, pure genius on the author’s part. The lesson to be learned is greediness comes at a high price for those who think they need more.

When two women disappear from their families, the police believe they may be linked. What the police are shocked to find is they are the same woman who is married to two men, successfully. When Marks beloved wife Leigh doesn’t return from work he is panicked. Leigh travels for work and is away several days a week so he isn’t immediately aware of her disappearance. When Daan’s wife doesn’t come home or respond to messages after visiting and caring for her terminally ill mother he contacts the police. But what happened to Kaileigh (also known as Kai and Leigh) will shock you. Excellent psychological thriller, extremely fast paced.

This is my FOURTH book by Adele Parks, and just as her 3 previous books have left me speechless, Woman Last Seen, left me with the same body screaming emotions as well.

This is a mind bending story of dark family secrets, greed, and how far someone will go to get what they want.

From the minute I started reading Woman Last Seen, I knew I would get none of my household chores I had planned for myself, done.

As always, Adele Parks delivers.

This book was sensational and mind-blowing. I would love to see this adapted into a netflix series.

Woman Last Seen was my first read from author Adele Parks. The premise was interesting and the cover caught my eye. Unfortunately this one didn't really work for me. It all just seemed very far fetched, and I was not happy with the abrupt ending. A lot of the back story and inner monologues from the women just felt unnecessary and contrived. It was like forcing a back story that could some how explain the bizarre choices they made, and even that wasn't enough to convince me. It didn't help that none of the characters are likable at all. I did bump up my rating because this was a quick read for me, I enjoyed the writing style and needed to know how any of this could possibly happen and find out the resolution, I just wasn't satisfied with the results. I will give this authors other books a try and hope they work better for me. Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Woman last Seen by Adele Parks is a story that started out well but I’m afraid after the first reveal I got a little tired of the women’s monologues. And it didn’t help that the characters are not, in my opinion, very likeable. Still, I may have given it three stars because it was an easy read and not a bad story. But I thought it was a disappointing ending.

The title and description really caught my eye, but it hit the mark for me. The ending was very abrupt, and much of the backstory didn't end up being relevant. Perhaps a sequel is in the works? I expected more of a thriller, and less predictability, as well. I liked the overall writing style, so I'd consider reading future books by Parks.

This was surprisingly good. I say that because I wasn't sure going in. I was like okay classic two families stories and some missing people ... but I was mistaken it was a good psychological thriller for me . I enjoyed it

Two women go missing from their families. Surely they're not connected. Right? Or maybe not. Ugh! This book was so sumptuous! I couldn't get enough. The mystery of what happened and Detective Clements on the case! Ugh and the ending!! THE ENDING! The ending of this wasn't tied up all neatly, which surprisingly I was totally okay with! Made it more real to me! I just loved it! So mind blown by this 🤯 this didn't disappoint!

I feel like Parks' books keep getting better and better! I really enjoyed Just My Luck and I Invited Her In and now I can add Woman Last Seen to that list!

This one sure kept me turning the pages! I could not put this one down until I found out what happened! The ending was a tad disappointing ( I would have liked a little bit more out of it), but I still really enjoyed this book overall!

A solid 4 stars from me.
