I thought Adele Park’s other books were just ok, so I was hesitant with this one. But I had a feeling from the beginning that I was going to like it. This was fast paced and exciting. I did guess a few of the twists, but I liked how they were executed. The only thing I was disappointed with was the ending. I felt like it was just meh compared to the rest of the book. 3.5 ⭐️s (rounded to 4)

Thank you to Netgalley, Harlequin, & Adele Parks for this e-arc!

I think Adele Parks is finally hitting her stride. While her other books were just meh, I'm glad this one was better.

Yikes!! I hate those endings but loved the book. It’s a wild, fast paced read & anyone who enjoys this genre will love it!!

Woman Last Seen is a like, but not a love for me. The pacing is uneven—some parts race and some parts drag. The characters are well-written but still kinda blah. The plot is solid, but predictable. I love Adele Parks and have read all of her books, but this one fell just a bit flat.

I really wanted to love this as much as I enjoyed the other books by Adele Parks that I have read. Unfortunately, this one missed the mark for me.

Woman Last Seen is a story of two missing women with seemingly perfect lives. One is the wife of a stable widower who has two sons and a comfortable life. The other is married to a younger, more affluent man who lives a life of luxury. What is the connection between them? And how well do you really know your spouse?

The twists and turns may surprise some readers and you will definitely need to read this one quickly to see if your predictions come true.

Leigh Fletcher is married to Mark and has two stepsons, Oli and Seb. One day she just disappears. Mark calls to report her missing and has no idea where she could be. Another lady named Kai Janssen also disappears around the same time, she is married to a handsome, wealthy businessman named Daan. Both of these families are totally distraught. DC Clements investigates and tries to work out if these cases are somehow related. Were these woman taken by someone or did they leave willingly?

This was quite the suspense thriller!! It was quick paced and exciting! There are several twists in this book and some were very shocking. I think Adele Parks is a brilliant writer and she knows how to spin a good story. For a quick and very entertaining read, pick up WOMAN LAST SEEN.

Many thanks to NetGalley and Harlequin Trade Publishing, MIRA for my ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Okay wow, this book was one of the best suspenseful thrillers I’ve read in a while. Two women from London go missing, but the secrets that pour out after their disappearances are shocking. The story is told from multiple points of view; the two women, their husbands, friends, and detectives.

I truly couldn’t put this book down because I just needed to know what was going to happen next. Adele Parks always keeps you on the edge of your seat guessing what will happen, but she blew it out of the water with this one.

The ending was chillingly perfect.

I really liked how this book went back and forth from person to person Involved. It kept me guessing from start to finish. I suspected several people and it was a good thriller. I did not like how to book just ended. It didn’t truly give what happened and now I am left wondering. This is the first book I have read with this author but I am looking forward to more.

I was on the edge of my seat for this book! Wow! Super engaging and suspenseful. I will say that I felt the ending was very rushed and I felt like I was left hanging which was disappointing because I loved 99% of this book.

In London, two women go missing at the same time. Leigh is a devoted mother to her two stepsons, a loving wife who works hard to keep things together in the home. Kai is married to Daan, a wealthy businessman who showers her with all the luxuries in life. Why would they both disappear within days of each other? DC Clements is tasked with the job of putting the pieced together. Adele Parks has crafted a suspenseful thriller that will keep you guessing and looking for clues right up until the end.

The story seems unfinished. Leigh and Kai are fully developed and the story focused mostly on them and mostly from their point of view. Mark and Daan was by standers. Detective Clements and her actions were spotty especially given that her superiors did not want her to pursue the investigation any further. The pieces of evidence were weak and passable at best. Fiona's character did not make any type of sense! The ending was weak and rushed. I did enjoy the story up until the end and that broke it for me.

I was OBSESSED with this book!! How do people walk away from their happy lives? Or did they walk away? How are these two completely different woman connected. I asked myself these questions over and over during this book. I loved it.

This ARC was provided to me via Kindle by Harlequin Trade Publishing, Mira and #NetGalley for my honest opinion. Opinions expressed are completely my own.

As a fan of Adele Parks I had high expectations and this fell a tad short. I was immediately invested in the story yet the end fell short of others.

Whenever I open the cover of an Adele Parks book I know I am in for a wild ride. Her plots are unique and her characters you love to hate. This book did not disappoint! The plot was intense and twisted. Just when I thought I knew where the book was going it twisted in another direction. Leigh was an ordinary housewife with a husband, Mark and two stepchildren Sebastian and Oliver. One day she didn't come home from a work trip. As her disappearance was investigated her deep dark secrets were uncovered. These secrets will shatter her life as she knew it. The ending was a mind blowing trip!

The story was good, kept my attention and had an unexpected conclusion. However, the ending was very abrupt and left me disappointed. It didn’t at all match the fast paced story.

Once again, Adele Parks has brilliantly written a thriller that has kept me on the edge of my seat from start to finish! Woman Last Seen is paced at lightening speed —this book is simply unputdownable! The storyline is extremely well-planned and twists and turns are both unexpected and plentiful—love that!!! Woman Last Seen is a 5 star book that I will be recommending to EVERYONE! Adele Parks is an automatic must read for me and I already cannot wait for her next novel!

This was a really intriguing concept, that hooked me at the first twist but lost me along the way. I love a story where you don't know who to root for because even the 'bad' guy seems like they don't deserve what's happening, it creates tension and has you rooting for people you never would expect to. In this story though I feel like we didn't get enough info on other people to know why we should root for them. The ending felt unresolved and made a lot of the backstories we learned feel unnecessary. The timeline and jumps were interesting and the style of writing I really enjoyed, would pick up another book by her in the future!

Thank you to publishers and NetGalley for the advance copy in return for an honest review.

Leigh and Kai are two women with distinctly different personalities and two completely different lives who both go missing. The detective in charge of the case feels they are connected but there aren’t any tangible connections. Both have husbands and fulfilling lives. One travels extensively for work while the other woman visits her ailing mother several days every week. A tense complex novel about the emotional needs of each and the husbands each left behind. Leigh also let behind Fiona, her best friend since childhood. A major twist happens fairly soon and we are off and running. Adele Parks writes great women’s fiction with characters you can identify with and plots you can believe. This is a slightly different type of book and I thoroughly loved it. Although I guessed the villain early on, as you will, it didn’t spoil my enjoyment.

One woman is missing and one woman is being held against her will, what is the connection? Is there a connection? Woman last seen is a decent thriller that will answer these questions and more. The book was well written and the characters were pretty likable. My only small complaint is there were some parts of the book that did slow down quite a bit but overall it didn't take away from my enjoyment of the story and there was some twist and turns I did not see coming and I may have guessed who didn't before we were actually told who did it but that's okay. I would recommend this book to anyone that likes a good thriller!

Woman Lat Seen by Adele Parks was an interesting and entertaining read. It started out strong and pulled me in. There were a few twists and turns that I didn't see coming. About halfway through the book though, the pace seemed to slow. Characters were well developed. None of them were likeable!!
