I received an arc of this title from NetGalley for an honest review. A lovely book about bird does during his day. Nice story but the illustrations are what make this book.

This is an easy lessson about bird's activities during the day. The illustrations are lovely and you learn about other animals too.
Blue Dot Kids Press and Net Galley let me read this book for review (thank you). It has been published and you can get a copy now.

The bird starts his morning by singing when the sun comes up. The story takes you through the rest of his day. Then he sleeps in a tree with his family, gettting ready for the next day.

I received a free ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I felt like the illustrations were made to go with a more indigenous story but the story didn't seem authentically indigenous. So it didn't keep to quite match.

This simple story highlights the progressive journey of a bird as the day unfolds into dusk. It interacts with the sun, wind, rain etc. and their spirits intertwine as they engage with each other.

The illustrator has done a magnificent job with his Australian aboriginal background to portray beautiful images of plants and animals throughout. The earthy colour pallet that he has chosen is lovely and his illustrations marry perfectly with the sparse poetic text. The book celebrates the different timings of the day, weather occurrences, and best of all... the happiness to be alive and enjoy the wonders of the environment and call it home. I love this artsy book and highly recommend it.

Little Bird's Day is a lovely adventure following a bird in the Australian outback throughout his day. The real draw is the artwork that pay homage to the aboriginal people of Australia. The colors are sharp and vibrant. Children will love pouring over the pages!

Thank you @Netgalley and @pubspotlight for early access to this ARC in return for an unbiased and voluntary review
