I really enjoyed the Off Campus series and I definitely understand the purpose of The Legacy - giving the people what they want and one final moment with this friend group. However, for me, I didn't get that sense of closure. There was just so much unnecessary drama that I found myself skimming sections to get to the end. I think I would have preferred leaving things and remembering this group as they were at the end of The Goal.

Enfim. Disappointed and surprised.

As much as I've enjoyed previous books by Elle Kennedy, I wasn't quite connecting with this one. I had to DNF with the possibility of picking up in the future. Thank you for the opportunity to read the book and I apologize for the inconvenience.

I honestly wish I hadn't read this. I looooved the original books but this was just such a letdown. The couples seemed dull but the group dynamic was good. I also hate miscommunication being the plot in romance books. I wish all the characters had gotten their happy endings. Also, they weren't even together in the end, like what was even the point. The characters felt like completely different people. Excuse me while I go forget I ever read this.

*cries in disappointment* I was expecting a cute epilogue story and was just utterly confused by who these characters are, it felt so different regardless of the gap of time but what??

I haven’t read any of the previous books in this series, With that said this book has intrigued me to read the rest of the series . This book is full of novellas on the rest of the series. None the less I found the banter humorous and over all it was a great book . Thank you netgalley I’m looking forward to beginning this series from the start

Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for an eARC of this book in exchange for an honest rwview.

If you've followed these characters and their journeys, these book is a nice "welcome back". There are a few laughs here and there which are always welcome. It's not a super necessary book but it's always nice to catch up with the guys feom Briar U.

These cute, quick novellas were a great way to end off the Off Campus Series. A lot of readers - myself included - were looking for more information on what happened to our favourite couples after the books ended. This collection of novellas was the perfect way to end off the series, while still keeping all of the couple's lives intertwined even years after they had graduated. The reason that this book was not five stars for me is because even though these stories were a lot of fun, not all of them felt necessary and there were times where I wished that there was a bit more to the story. Either way, this collection was super fun and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoyed the Off Campus series.

The Legacy is a compilation of four novellas presented as the possible conclusion to the Off-Campus series. The four couples have all graduated from university and are three years in to life after school. With an elopement, an engagement, a honeymoon, and a pregnancy all thrown in the mix, there is sure to be plenty of drama to go around.

The novellas in The Legacy are a lot of fun to read and provide a great way to catch up where the books in the Off-Campus series left off. I liked how each story focused on one couple, but all of the other characters played a role in their story as well. Lots of big life events going on here, and there is plenty of humorous and dramatic moments to boot. Plus the reader gets some bonus survival skills with what to do if they are ever stuck in their car during a snowstorm for over eight hours. Fans of the Off-Campus series will enjoy getting caught up with each character in The Legacy.

Thanks to Netgalley and SOURCEBOOKS Bloom Books for this ARC; this is my honest and voluntary review.

This novel solidified my decisions to no longer take reviews too seriously. There's a lot of people bashing this book and really it wasn't that bad. I feel like I'd have missed out on a decent read of I'd listen to the majority if reviewers. The main characters were very likeable. Love seems we're great.

I really loved the Off Campus and Briar U books and characters. However, I feel these added more drama than really extended the stories. They all overlap but the transition between the stories was off for me. Personally, I would have liked these to be added to the OG books as a new releases with extended epilogues but that’s just my opinion. Also, what was Elle thinking with the ending of the 4th part?!? That was just cruel lol!

Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for an advanced copy!

It was so good to be back in this world again. I'd forgotten how much I enjoyed these characters, their friendships and their fantastic banter. This book, which is in essence 4 novellas that give us a peek into what's happening with our favorite couples was fantastic. I laughed, I sighed, I smiled like a fool. And I fell in love with Dean, that wonderful charmer, all over again. Reading this book makes me want to go back and revisit the entire series.

Logan & Grace - I loved seeing these two make time for each other and reconnect on a deeper level.

Dean & Allie - Watching Dean wear his heart on his sleeve and move forward into what was scary and unexpected territory for him just melted my heart. I wanted to shake Allie at times (or maybe just take her place) but I loved the outcome of their novella. Selfishly, I want an epilogue for this novella!

Tucker & Sabrina - Laugh out loud moments made this story fun to read but also enjoyed watching them tackle some difficult relationship issues.

Garrett & Hannah - Deeper issues at play in this novella and I enjoyed seeing how they dealt with each other and those around them.

Obviously this is the last installment in this series and I for one am sad about that so I'll just say this...if nothing else, Ms. Kennedy, please write the epilogue for Dean & Allie. You don't even have to publish it...you can just email it to me and I'll be forever grateful! :)

Oh how I loved this book! Catching up with favourite characters is always a treat. Especially when they’re from one of my most reread series ever.

We got to see where everyone’s up to in their lives, their ups and downs and most importantly their friendship. Loved it!

🦋Thankyou to netgalley for the ARC in exchange for my honest review 🦋

I read all the standalone stories earlier this year, apart from tuckers as it just didn't interest me which is fine.
I really enjoyed them, especially dean & Garret. So obviously I was SO excited when I discovered this novella and getting approved for it on here.
I was just really disappointed. I was looking forward to seeing a sort of happy conclusion to the cute couples, but we just got unnecessary drama.

Dean & Allie- What was this??? Allies character was as if she was a completely different character. I wish their bit was written as if they were both going to propose to each other, allies a baddass and would totally do that. But instead they just bickered???

Garret & hannah- again, WHAT?? They were my favouriteee couple and I was so looking forward to some more cute moments and us seeing them become new parents and be all excited. But no. Why did we need the dad drama again?

Tucker & Sabrina- as I said, I didn't read their original story so I guess I can't really comment. But it was kinda the okayiest out of them all? But what's with all the bickering!!!

Logan & Grace- They were the first story, and I just finished it. I've already forgotten what their part was about...

✨What I liked about "The Legacy"✨
• The whole Alexander thing (for the most part anyway) I think it was a nice way to keep all the stories and friendships linked since there was no more college & shared house.
• Future hannahgraham TWINS!!

ignoring the flaws, it was fun. it had me laughing till the end. if i started oc with this one then i would have liked the book bc i wouldn't have met the characters before

-------- spoilers ahead.

—— The Pact - LOGANGRACE

Grace and I have had numerous conversations about what’ll happen when we get married—when, not if, because come on now. We’re end game and we both know it.

Logan and Grace were only ones with no fighting, their part was the one that me laughing the most. The whole trip to Vermont, elopement, logans new year countdown and ALEXANDER, he is one of the main cause for my stomach ache.

I flash her a faint smile before turning back to the pastor. “So. Just out of curiosity…” My grin widens. “Do you do weddings?”

and this, istg i was grinning like an idiot when he asked the pastor if he does weddings.

—— The Proposal - DEANALLIE

ME: On my way to the airport. See you in a bit.
DEAN: Be safe.
DEAN: Can’t wait to fuck you

i love dean and allie but their part was just boring but allie meeting dean at the hotel to apologize and to propose?? that was amazing. And tucker threatening dean?? that was the best

—— The Honeymoon - SABRINATUCKER

“You almost let a man pee on me, Sabrina.”
“That’s how much I love you.

Sabrina and Tucker's part was fun, i loved how much they cared for each other. They were so cute and Jamie is adorable, istg she's the cutest baby. And their honeymoon, i actually felt bad for them. plane crash, tucker getting stung by a jellyfish(i didn't know jellyfishes were harmful), coconut falling on graces head, tucker getting arrested and ALEXANDER, he's there to haunt them all.

“Ready?” Tucker says. “Do it.” Nodding, he winds his arm back and hurls Alexander as far as he possibly can. Then we stand there holding hands, watching the doll bob in the calm waves, slowly carried out to sea.
“Go with God,” Tucker says solemnly.
“Babe. He’s going to Satan and we both know it.”
“Truth, darlin’.”

“How remarkable is this?” Kevin says, eyes wide. “It just came in with the tide and floated right up to our feet.” A curious Sabrina steps forward before I can stop her. “What is it?” Then she sees Alexander and starts to cry.

—— The Legacy - HANNAHGARRET

“What?”
“I love you. Maybe more than I ever have.”

My babies who are having babies, their part didn't meet my expectations but i loved it and garret is still stupid. I can't believe he thought hannah was moving out but it was cute. he spent all night staring at the sonogram and realized that he can't not have a baby with hannah. garret is a giant cutie.

There was one thing i hated in their part, the phil graham mentions and scenes. i was expecting a 'phil graham was murdered plot' but no dudes very much alive and the name The Legacy was for garret protecting phils legacy?? carrying his legacy?? and this fucking pissed me off because i hate phit, i hate anyone who hurt garret.

“Congratulations,” she announces with a grin. “You’re having twins.”
“Twins?” I echo stupidly. “You serious, Doc?”
“Twins?” I say again. “Like two?”
“Two,” she confirms.
Garrett’s face collapses. “I only bought one jersey.”

But this made up for it. I can't believe hannah and garret are having twins, a boy and a girl. baby hannah and garret are coming. And hannah asking garret to marry him, i love them so much.

And then these some of my fav parts with the guys

🔅 “Damn, you smell good, dude. What are you wearing?”
“I ran out of body wash so I’m using Grace’s,” he answers with a grin. “It’s fucking delicious, right?”
“Oh yeah. I can see why Garrett sneaks into your hotel rooms for all those secret man-on-man bone-zone sessions.”
“Jealous?” Garrett smirks.

🔅 Does he have a death wish or something? I mean, I know Garrett does, because clearly he wants me to murder him next time I see him. I love Garrett Graham like a brother. He’s my closest friend. He’s a teammate. He’s fucking awesome. But to do this to us on Christmas?

🔅 Tucker’s smile is downright lethal. “Do you, Di Laurentis? Because if you upset Sabrina tomorrow by asking Allie to marry you, I will be there. I will always be there. At every corner, ruining every important moment of your life until the day you die. And then, when you’re on your deathbed, I’ll commit suicide right before you go, just to steal your thunder. What do you think, man? How does that future sound?”

And this

🔅 Hannah always says I shouldn't be ashamed of it, that it wasn't my fault, I couldn't have stopped it, blah fuckin blah. I love that women to death, but chicks have a bad habit of turning everything into therapy speak. I know it.

garrett graham would never say something like this ab hannah

🔅 Dean’s hand is about to emerge from his pocket when I stop him with a
sharp, “Don’t.”
He freezes. “What?”
“Is this a proposal?” I demand.
The sheepish gleam in his eyes is all the confirmation I need.
“Dean.” It’s a warning.

ek made everyone hate allie.

And Phil Graham murder when?

Thank you NetGalley for letting me read and review this book.

This book is about the characters from the previous books in this serier, and you get to follow them in their lives a couple of years after the previous books. It features engagement, marriage, pregnancy and more.

I went in reading this one with mixed expectations, I love the other books, but I had heard that this one was a bit different. I liked this one, absolutely, different, but good.

I gave this a 3/5 because it isn't my favorite, and I feel like Elle Kennedy has written other books I like more, but I still enjoyed reading it.

Elle Kennedy’s Off Campus series was brought to my attention through viral TikTok videos, and I read the first four novels in a matter a days. I was so excited to learn that she would be releasing a 5th book in the series; four novellas that follow the same characters as they go through the highs and lows of being in your mid-twenties.

I’m really happy with where each of the stories went, and it was nice to pick up the book and feel like I am reading a direct continuation of the original books. Kennedy really knows how to draw you in with her writing and you really (really) get to know the characters on a deep level.

I’d recommend this to anyone who has read the Off Campus series!

I had no idea this was coming out, but I was so happy when i saw it!
This brought me so much joy, seeing all the characters in an epilogue story. I can’t explain how fun this was, exactly as funny, spicy and entertaining as each of it’s predecessors. And when i say funny, i had me laughing out loud. We get to check up on each of the couples and its simply adorable to get these little snippets of their lives!

I loved it! Short and Sweet!
