The Reunion is a story told in multiple points of view and set on Marina Island. There are definitely some interesting, family sibling moments and some funny ones as well.
The entertaining parts made me laugh, especially drunk Palmer, she is a hoot, the words out of her mouth are funny! Shes also refreshingly honest and a bit of a klutz.
Unrequited feelings, crushes, inappropriateness and all around embarrassment between the characters at different times, made for quite a different but also enjoyable read!
When push comes to shove though, this book shows how family should be there to support and love each other, in good times and bad and keeping secrets never helps. The passion, excitement, the sadness also gave this book that extra something.
Downright wonderful and made my heart hammer towards the end.

Reunited and it feels so good? Not quite. When the Chance siblings gather in their hometown for their parents’ wedding anniversary, secrets and complicated emotions bubble to the surface which could derail the celebration.

I was very excited to jump back into things with the Chance family following The One Night. Needless to say, I had a grand time learning more about this family, seeing each sibling find love, and watching old wounds heal. I adored the romantic subplots, but I also found the focus on family, love, and forgiveness stupendous.

This is a Meghan Quinn book, and as such, I have no reason to read the synopsis. I know I want to read it, and so, I go into her books blind. I expected this to pick up after The One Night with Nora and Cooper’s romance. Little did I know there would be THREE romances for me to delight in. Each of the Chance siblings found love at some point in this story, their path to their HEAs equal parts hilarious and heartwarming. Quinn crafted three amazing couples, and I was overjoyed to be part of their journey.

In case you were wondering, the story unfolded via SIX points of view. Crazy, but you know what? It was done so well. I felt like Quinn used each POV in the best way possible, and they flowed so well into each other. I felt each character’s voice was clear, and I enjoyed getting to be in all their heads.

Lots of fun and feels when it came to the romantic pairing, but it was the sibling relationship that shined the most for me. The Chance trio had not spent too much time together in recent years, and there was something from their past that was keeping them at a distance. I enjoyed the exploration of the family dynamic and was pleased with the way things evolved. This family just had such a beautiful and touching backstory, and I needed them to mend those relationships, and for each sibling to find their way as well. It ending up being really moving, and the ending was just icing on the cake for me.

By the end of this book, there were tears in my eyes and a smile on my face. I had such a wonderful time meeting the Chance family. This journey was often amusing, but it was also touching. I was already feeling the warm fuzzies when I read Quinn’s afterword where she talked about family and love. THAT was what was so special about The Reunion. Family and love was the heart of this story, and what a wonderful thing to celebrate!

Meghan Quinn has a knack for writing great romances and I would give this book a much higher rating if I wasn't so annoyed with the character Palmer. She got on my nerves with her spoiled behavior. Otherwise it was fun and the other characters were really good!

So, if you can turn a blind eye regarding one of the characters, read it!

I absolutely LOVED The Reunion by Meghan Quinn! She's one of my favorite romance authors and it's for good reason: she's a fantastic writer! Not only was this funny but I swooned the whole way through. Honestly, even the most jaded reader will swoon with this one so I one hundred percent recommend it to everyone!

What an unexpectedly emotional and poignant story from the rom com queen, Meghan Quinn. The Reunion is full of tenderness, emotional resonance, and soulful complexity. It's a story about the magic and challenges of family, about the shared experience of pain and love, about the depths of being a human, and I really enjoyed this story.

This truly is an ensemble piece, and Meghan makes that clear from her narrative approach. We have six different POvs as we explore the pains and triumphs of three estranged siblings and their partners, convening to celebrate their parents’ anniversary. This is their reunion - Ford, Cooper, and Palmer. Each have their own individual stories, their own character journeys, but overarchingly the story is about them as a family.

I wasn’t sure how I would feel about a story with so many perspectives- Meghan is a “lighter” writer for me and given the content of this story and the many characters, I was worried I wouldn’t truly connect with each of their stories. But I did- not in equal measure, which is to be expected, but I found a piece of connective tissue to each of them, and I felt they all had a moment to shine. Ford’s journey felt so endearing, and I loved watching him find his path with Larkin. Cooper is so lovable and brought some of that Meghan humor I’ve come to expect- he’s perhaps my favorite to read. And then we have Palmer, with the most heart wrenching journey of three, alongside Beau- their journey hits all the emotions.

The tone certainly felt different than a typical Meghan Quinn book, which is fine for me, but this isn’t the light hearted/bubbly/outlandishly funny rom com some might expect. But I appreciated that- both seeing an author flex some different muscles and because I felt that this one felt so relatable because of it. And the family feel really shines- how even the best of families have breaking points, have challenges, and struggle. But in the end, they are yours, and you are theirs. Flaws and all. I hope to see more stories like this from Meghan- not because I don’t enjoy her other books, but because this one felt decidedly intimate, and as such, it really touched the heart.

This is such a unique book. It is about 3 siblings (Ford, Cooper and Palmer), their relationships between each other and their romantic interests. In the book you get 6 points of view: Ford and Larkin, Cooper and Nora and Palmer and Beau. If you have read, The One Night, you have met Cooper and Nora (that was a prequel, but The Reunion is a stand alone) Ford and Palmer return to their childhood home to help plan an anniversary party for their parents (Cooper already lives near by). This is a great book about the challenges of family, growing up and self growth. In addition, we get 3 romantic stories. It also has many laugh out loud lines and scenes in true Meghan Quinn fashion. This was such a great book that pulls you in and makes you want to know what is going to happen.

This was hilarious. I laughed so much that if I was rating that I would give it 4.5 stars.

This was the second book I read by Meghan Quinn and I can say with almost certainty that she is not for me.
The siblings having their moments with their significant others at the same time was too much for me.

The Reunion by Meghan Quinn was a beautiful story centered around the Chance family. The siblings all come back home to throw an anniversary party for their parents.
There are so many different levels and relationships within the family that it feels like stories within the story. I love getting to know what each sibling was dealing with. Telling each character from their point of review really added to the in-depth discovery of that character.
This book was about family, the good and the bad. While it was slightly different from Meghan’s usual type of story, I really enjoyed it.

I devoured this book in one sitting.

DEVOURED.

I got sucked into the world of the Chance siblings (family) and NEEDED to find out what it would take to get Ford, Cooper and Palmer to get over themselves, reconnect and realize that what they are looking for in their lives are right in front of them if only they are brave enough to grab it.

Now, a lot happens in this book and I’m not going to get into it all because it would ruin the goodness that happens, but I will say that I loved Martin and Peggy, Nora, Larkin and Beau and the Chance siblings, even when I wanted to Gibbs smack them. There are just as many highs as lows for this cast of characters, but all of it is necessary and make for some awkward, funny and heartwarming moments.

I know that this is a short, sweet and vague review on a book where a lot happens but, as I said, it is necessary. But to throw you all bone, I will do something that I very rarely ever do and compare it to another book. That book would be Dear Life, also by the author. While this one is a bit more on the light side, it has a similar format with multiple POV’s and multiple relationships in play.

As with several other books by Meghan Quinn, this one focuses on family and the conflict that comes with a breakdown in communication. The title is a bit misleading as this is more of an "anniversary" then reunion, but it could just be the re-union of family and relationships.

Cooper was introduced in the prequel novella: The One Night and he appears again as he's planning his parent's 50th Anniversary party. His siblings, older brother Ford and the baby of the family Palmer, have different views on how that party should be planned. The fighting between siblings comes to a head in a disastrous event that embarrass their parents. As parents do, they give them all one chance to get it together and fix it.

This was a good story about family, teaching lessons, and growth. Some may not see it that way, but many of these family novels have a much deeper meaning. This one wasn't missed and is a good reminder that many discrepancies can be solved with talking, and listening to each other.

Three romances in one AND cute, hilarious aging parents?!?! Sign. Me. Up!!

I think people might critique that there was SO MUCH a packed into one book. THREE romances along with family drama - and SIX points of view!!! It truly could have been separated into three shorter books to make a series, but I still loved the characters so much that I didn’t really mind!

Quinn managed to put so much heart into each storyline, I found myself in tears a couple times and LOLing so many times! I seriously adored the parents most of all. There was great MQ steam and such a sweet ending. I definitely recommend this fast paced story!

OMG, this book! I loved it... a perfect example of real life with siblings.... what happens when you are younger and the perspective of that through the eyes of each one is very different and once to take the time to understand the other people's perspective, it sure makes a difference.... This book was fantastic! Ford, Cooper and Palmer, these three! Their parents are amazingly funny and they 100% know what they are doing and praying that maybe just maybe their kids will connect as adults. This books brings all of the kids together and home to plan an anniversary party for their kids. In the mist of them fighting about what kind of a party this should be and who is in charge of what, they happen to each find someone who they may or may not have know was in front of their eyes and in their life all along.... in the process of trying to plan a party, save their family business and court someone it is a witty, kind of crazy, but can see it all happening in my family, fun book! I LOVED LOVED LOVED it. to get a bit more I would recommend you read The One Night before reading this one. Adds a bit to Cooper and his story, that one is also a true Meghan books with a few laugh out loud moments too!

Officially a MoFo for life! Another win with this book which is unique as it’s told in 6 POVs. We start with the 3 siblings: Ford, Cooper and Palmer who were close once but had a falling out and haven't truly spoken in a while.
They come together to throw an anniversary party for this parents in their hometown. We get their messy lives as they navigate the party, rebranding the family business and trying to reconnect with each other. We also get the 3 POVs of their (maybe) significant others.

While this book as the snappy witty banter and laugh out loud moments you know of Meghan Quinn, it also portrays very real lives. I loved how real the characters were flaws and all. I also loved that we got 6 POVs, this really helped with the depth of the characters when you have so many. While not the next book I have read of hers it definitely fills you heart with all the emotions form angst, to anger to hopeful to joy!

I absolutely loved this book!!! It was a real and raw story about what people would perceive as the perfect family. I could relate to this book in so many ways. Feeling like you have a certain roll in the family that you have to live up to and finally reaching a breaking point. In true Meghan Quinn fashion you will find yourself laughing throughout many parts of this book. You will also find yourself catching all sorts of feels as well. I loved that you got everyone’s point of view in this book. In this one you needed it. It helped the story flow beautifully. I was not ready for this one to end! I absolutely recommend this book!!

i really enjoyed getting to read this book early. it was so much fun and such a sweet little romance. it made me feel good and that's something i really enjoy in my books. a lovely escape!

This multiple POV story grabs you by the heart and keeps you entertained until the very end kind of the story. An absolute true testament to the amazing mind and phenomenal writing talent of Meghan Quinn!

This story is set in the fictional town of Marina Island. A town so well described that I want to live there! I want to shop at Chance family store and legacy Watchful Wanderers. I want to be a part of the Chance family!

Palmer, Cooper, Ford, Dr. Beau, Nora, and Larkin all play roles in this romantical story about coming home again, family secrets, and coming together as a family. Each character has their own voice, spark and each of them puts their own spin on the family drama that unfolds.

There are ups and downs; there is angst and hilarity aplenty. The multiple POVs are written seamlessly, and the story flows smoothly.  I was sad when this story was over.  I want to visit with the whole family some more.

Ms. Quinn never fails to slay me with her stories; she is a definite "one-click" author for me.

I’m not sure where to begin, there’s no chance of me being able to do justice to this beautifully crafted novel.

Quinn is a one-click author for me because her words have a way of reaching the deepest parts of you, and between the witty banter and swooning, she weaves together lessons we can all learn from.

While writing The Reunion, Quinn seemed to know exactly what my mind needed, my heart desired, and my soul required. It was a poignant story, family, miscommunication, self-reflection, digging deep and learning to love yourself, a series of life lessons, forgiveness, within ourselves or those we love, and each of these siblings was falling in love in the midst of their angry words.

Palmer Chance is the youngest member of the Chance family; she left home after graduation and hasn't returned since. She had her reasons, and now she was home, but the past and the secrets she had brought with her weighed heavily on her shoulders. She was incredibly sassy, didn't have a filter, and her antics made me laugh, but on the inside she was lost, filled with varying degrees of inner turmoil, and my heart ached for her.

Ford Chance is the eldest Chance sibling, and with that comes the inherent trait of taking full responsibility for the younger siblings, whether it's protecting them or bossing them. Anyone who has siblings understands all aspects of their family dynamics. Ford was the head of the family business, a workaholic who rarely returned to his hometown for a visit. He had his reasons for devoting his life to turning the family-owned business into a franchise into his sole purpose in life, but in doing so, he was forgetting the very foundation of his family and what the business had been built on.

Cooper is the middle Chance sibling, and he was the only Chance sibling who stayed close to home, which comes with a different responsibility, caring for their parents. If you read The One Night (which I highly recommend you do) you will have a greater understanding of his mindset. He had gone through a divorce, which, along with other events, prompted him to begin digging deep within himself, seeking a way to reflect on who he was and embark on a journey to become who he desired to be.

As the three Chance siblings get together for the first time in years and things get heated, years of unspoken things are revealed, they are supposed to be planning their parents' anniversary party, but the tension between them makes that impossible.

Palmer, Ford, and Cooper are falling in love with someone who brings them peace at a time when they are all stressed to the max. It's a mix of light and the heartbreak they're feeling as a result of their siblings' estrangement.


The Reunion astounds me; it's unlike anything I've ever read. An inspiring story about facing the past while facing the possibility of a better future, forgiveness of self and those you love, every aspect is fueled by love, for their parents, siblings, and the new relationships they are all starting, and life lessons interwoven through each character's POV. By the end, a piece of you will be left on the pages, and the formidable life lessons will burrow their way into the deepest parts of you.

Ow wow so many deep feelings!!

Just wow what a incredible book. I wasn’t sure what to expect. Three sibling with so much baggage and even more love. But they have cracked each other and the parents who love them. They’re at a crossroads in life and they’ll either find a way home or completely implode. Add in the ones they should love and OMG What an amazing read.

The author writing is flawless, and the words are so captivating, the plot had so many twists and turns and none that I was expecting, and many shockingly intimate I have become a huge fan of this author. The author writes with so much intensity and emotion pulled from each book it’s felt page after page. Some are quick witted story lines are so perfect and lets you believe you have a front row seat. So being able to read this love story didn’t disappoint. The authors ability to have many separate individuals struggling in their everyday life and try to navigate someone else’s thoughts, needs and desires was intense and gives all the fills.

This book has everything I love in a book. Then you add that it's beautifully written and believable. It is easily a five star read. Written in multiple POV definitely a new personal favorite this story flows so incredibly well that the next thing you know your 80% into the book and loving every second of it. The believable way the characters interact is perfect. Run, Hop, Jump or use your (1 click) finger to do whatever you have to do and get this amazing book. It'll break your heart, you'll want to scream with frustration and it'll let you discover that love just might conquer all. The chemistry is steamy and sweet and oh so romantic.

I absolutely loved this book. I couldn’t put it down. I loved the Chance family. I knew Ford and Larkin would be something. From the beginning I thought there was something there. Why else would you bring your assistant with you for a month long trip. And Cooper and Nora, love them. I love Nora’s spunk. I loved their banter. I love how awkward Cooper was with the texting. I laughed out loud so many time. And then there’s Palmer and Beau. Man, she’s just great. She definitely my favorite sibling. She’s hilarious even when she’s not trying to be, but her impromptu visit with Dr. Beau was my favorite part of the book. I was sitting in my kids school pickup line just laughing until tears were running down my face. I love her the most! And between all the fun banter there was a real story there. A family torn apart and finding their way back to each other. Beautiful story.
