God Calls You Courageous
180 Devotions and Prayers to Inspire Your Soul

Inspiration for women to overcome fear, anxiety and stress is found in this devotional book. We all have these feelings at time, some more than others, and Carey Scott's writing points us in the right direction for the New Year 2022. During the difficult situations going on in the world now and in the past couple of years especially, it's easy to lose our focus and flounder in our faith. Having this resource to deliver messages of finding our courage, while knowing that God sees ours struggles, is valuable.
The entries in the devotion have a passage of topics related to the theme, with a short Bible scripture, and a follow up prayer. I found them to be encouraging and enlightening. Topics such as trust, endurance, patience and strength are covered. Carey emphasizes that it is okay to reach out for help from people who care about us, and most of all from God. I recommend this beautiful book for women to use and to share with friends and family.
Thanks to Net Galley and for the advance reader's copy and opportunity to provide my unbiased review.

I have enjoyed this devotional. The standard verse, thoughts and prayer but it's relatable. I have read several that were a little pointed or unrelatable to many especially those overseas. This book while there are references to America at times is one that anyone around the world would enjoy. The thoughts are very relatable and practical as well as thought provoking. I would recommend this devotional for anyone looking for short morning devotion but want to be challenged or made to think without an agenda..I have struggled with some devotionals recently that are too political this one isn't.
