A fun, entertaining story about a teen who struggles to confess his love and is often misunderstood due to his shy personality.

I already love manga and this was just so cute. And the male POV was really refreshing to read as it is not that common.

A sweet romance manga, a little slow but a nice art style and a pleasant read for all to enjoy. The story was light and entertaining, I liked the characters although I cannot wait to see them be developed a bit more by the artist. Overall definitely recommend.

Thank you to Netgalley and Kodansha Comics for the opportunity to read and review this manga. This is a manga series that I think if you want a male perspective of a shoujo like Otomen, I would recommend this one. I loved how adorable he found the leading lady and the shenanigans that they come up with. However, this volume just randomly ended and I wanted a ton more from this. I will definitely be checking this out in the future to see if he ever gets to confess. Because of these points, I have to give this a 3.5 out of 5 stars

This is an absolutely delightful read!

Natsuaki's attempts at interacting with and confessing to his crush are heartwarmingly innocent. The fact that the view we follow is that of a guy watching his female crush rather than the other way around makes what would otherwise be a typical character that much more charming and - along with his hilarious inability to show his thoughts and feelings - has hooked me on wanting to continue with future volumes of this series.

I definitely recommend this!

I was granted a copy of this book by Netgalley, in exchange for my honest opinion.
This is one digital manga that I definitely recommend and want to keep reading the next volumes.
This was about a boy called Natsuaki-sun, he’s a popular at his school, for being very good looking, Natsuaki it’s a very shy boy and no one suspects but he has a crush on a a fellow classmate Nashida-San, that apparently he’s the only one thinking she’s cute, everyone else sees her has a oddball.
He wants to confess his feelings for her but with that comes a few challenging but funny moments where he tries to confess. It’s such a heartwarming a bubbly story. I definitely recommend this wholesome manga. About the artwork I can’t say this enough of how beautiful this artist made every thing look so good and beautiful I recommend 1000%

Cute but not especially memorable, to be honest. It was a very fast read! Probably won't continue reading the series.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This manga was so cute with its characters. It was also funny when you see how our main male character Natsuaki has this big crush on one of his classmate Nashida and it's so obvious but his best friend who is so dense, can't guess who Natsuaki is in love with, it was so funny. I enjoyed reading it a lot.

Meh/10
It wasn't bad but it wasn't super interesting either.
It's schtick really just is that its just the cool guy that is literally swooning over the girl swooning over the guy.

Doing his best to confess is a very cute romantic comedy that was very enjoyable and easy to read. Though the plot could seem overly cheesy at times it worked very well. With adorable characters who were very lovable I can't wait to read volume two.

Somebody help this poor baby! The first volume knocks it out of the park and I can't wait to see what happens next with this shy boy.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for this ARC which I received in return for an honest review.

This was soooo cute! Yep, get used to that word because it is said pretty often but I didn't mind it at all.

We have Natsuaki-Kun, the heartthrob in his grade. He's unawares of his popularity among the girls and they only like him because looks and there's a mystery surrounding him. He has a best friend who seems to be the only one he speaks to but the running joke is that Natsuaki doesn't really know how to show his feelings. There's a panel where the best friend steps on his foot and Natsuaki stays expressionless even though it hurt. He has this mad crush on Nasshi, the sweet quirky girl. They are truly opposites. The story is about Natsuaki finding ways he can confess to Nasshi and the series of events that continue to hinder the confession.

I liked it. It was sweet, smooth and fast. We need these reads every so often to cleanse the pallet.

This manga is SO cute. I love how Natsuaki-kun comes off as so cool and aloof but it's really just because he's so intensely absorbed eith his crush on Nashida-san! Nashida is borderline TSTL, just completely oblivious and clumsy and cute more in the way a baby woodland animal is cute than traditionally pretty. I just love how INTO IT Natsuaki is, and they're both different types of "no thoughts, only vibes" sweet little creatures. I just want to hug them!

This was a really cute manga. The main character was funny, embarrassing, and really likable. It was great that both the male and female characters were a bit oblivious to what was happening around them and how others saw them. I can not wait to read the next volume.

Thank you Netgalley for the eARC in exchange for a review.

In Satoru's Doing His Best to Confess, good looks don't matter if you don't have the guts to tell the person you admire how you really feel. Natsuaki is the type of guy that every female fantasises about having as a lover. His heart, however, is set on Nashida, a short-haired klutz who has captivated him. Despite possessing the features that should scream confidence, Natsuaki can't seem to find the appropriate words to say to Nashida.

The book is cute and since I love reading shojo, you can tell that I do enjoy this. However, this manga is just like other shojo manga I've read before. Not to say, the representation for Natsuaki was blurry; making it difficult to understand him, I couldn't help but feeling weirded out.

All in all, this book had a rocky start and there was nothing remarkable but the manga was adorable nevertheless. I couldn't wait to see how the manga would progress as the title indicated, so we might still have a long way for the hero to confess his feelings despite having the opportunity now.

It took me a while to finish reading this book because I kept putting it down and forgetting to pick it up. I thought the main character's aloofness would be cute or funny but I found it annoying.

Really great start to an interesting but sweet story. Reminds me of the anime Love is War. For those who like shy boys pinning in silence, this is a definite must read.
