This was a enjoyable. I like that this book had each section focus on each couples and I like how that they are all interconnected as friends. I love how author wrote Liv and Theo and how they deal with having children and wether it will break their marriage or strengthen it.

I received an ARC copy of this book from the Publisher via Netgalley and voluntarily leaving my review.

I really enjoyed reading this holiday anthology type book. It really is one novel with a continuous arc but broken into four sections each with a romance. First, Billie is bringing girlfriend Leah to meet the family for the first time at Thanksgiving. She's concerned that Leah isn't as invested in the relationship as she is because she isn't nervous. (And maybe she should be.) Next, a Christmas a party thrown by Liv and Theo who are married couple is very stressful. The relationship is rocky as Theo is ready to start a family and the other isn't sure. Everyone gathers again to ring in the New Years and a couple meets for the first time. Lastly, the first day of the New Year brings a second chance for an age gap romance.

Each of the stories is compelling and I like that they are all interconnected as friends. I was very moved by the Live and Theo's story. Having children is very personal and throwing in the fact it could make or break the marriage gave it an edge. I was least involved in the new relationship (April and Gemma) as they were given the smallest amount of space and back story. The author does well in writing dialogue that moves the story forward so more of the story can be shown not just told. This is a well done Holidays romance and because the characters continue through the whole story it become more a connected novel that individual novellas. Thank you Bold Stokes Book and NetGalley for an ARC in exchange for an honest review. (4.5 stars)
