Morgan is never ever falling in love again with a daredevil. Never. Not now not later and not while there is a breath in her body. She wants to live a quiet life raising her amazing son and keep them both safe from any more loss, even if it means ignoring her heart. Andrew is a man who lives for the next adrenaline rush. Love is not on his radar either. Never wish for what you want for you just might get it! It’s a wonderful sweet listen with enjoyable narration. Will they, won’t they? A truly fun sweet listen that had me hoping for a happily ever after for all.

I received an audio copy of Wrapped up in Christmas Hope from NetGalley and was not disappointed. The story was holiday perfect and would be very enjoyable as a Christmas movie.

Morgan, a widow who lost her husband in an tragic accident, moves back to her hometown in time to give her son the same small town Christmas she used to have as a kid. Her son is adorably precocious and dreams of being a firefighter when he grows up. When the firefighters put on a show for kids her son loves spending time with Andrew and so does Morgan. Unfortunately Andrew has applied to be a smoke jumper which Morgan considers to be a job too dangerous for her to get involved with him.

As Morgan and Andrew come to terms with their futures and their relationship, an extremely unique wedding takes place complete with ugly Christmas sweaters and reindeer and lots of snow.

A charming story of overcoming your fears and finding happiness after loss. The side characters were just as enjoyable as the main ones, if not more so. I definitely want to go back and read the first two books in the series now!

Thank you NetGalley, Janice Lynn, and Hallmark Publishing for the audiobook ARC of "Wrapped Up In Christmas Hope"!

Morgan’s late husband was a firefighter who risked his life and loved danger. She is now a widowed single mom who just wants to create a safe and stable life for her son in Kentucky - until she meets Andrew. Ironically, Andrew’s also a firefighter who thrives on the rush of saving others. His secret dream is to become a smokejumper and fight raging wildfires across the country.

Morgan and Andrew are drawn together as they both volunteer to make quilts for veterans at the local quilt shop. Morgan’s son looks up to Andrew, and develops a strong bond to him. Even wanting to be a firefighter just like him! Morgan can’t help but notice how good Andrew is with him. But, she is still hesitant on how she feels about Andrew.. Meanwhile, Andrew’s torn between his ambition to fulfill his lifelong dream and his growing attraction to Morgan. They both have choices to make about their futures and about each other.

Super cute (and cozy) holiday read. As a single mama myself, it hit close to home. Wanting what's best for you and your child is the most important thing. It's a typical Hallmark like movie (book in this case), so it puts you in your feels - just in time for Christmas.

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Audiobook: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Steam: Clean romance (“And he cupped her face.”)

Thanks to NetGalley and Hallmark Publishing for the ALC in exchange for an honest review. I apologize for being a few days later than the publication date.

🤩 Description is true to its word (see below).
🎧 🤩 Two points of view and adorable alternating voices narrated by Madeleine Maby & Seth Podowitz.
🤩 Romance trope: forbidden love/inconvenient attraction.
🤩 All the feels I like from a Christmas romance—I had so many smiles and giggles and laughs as well as few tears and pangs of desire.
🤩 Cute fire fighters very involved in the community.
🤩 Of course Andrew plays the guitar and sews and bonds with Morgan’s son.
🤩 Close-knit, Bible believing, church/faith community.
🤩 Close friends and family as well as so much love from and for grandparents and older people in the community.
🤩 Honoring veterans through the Quilts of Valor Foundation.
🤩 Fun Christmastime wedding.

💫 As I heard about Sara & Bodie and Sophie & Cole, I guessed they had to have their own stories. I was correct: Wrapped Up in Christmas and Wrapped Up in Christmas Joy. I would have liked to have read the stories in order. I was never confused, though. I can't wait to catch up.
💫I wonder who else gets a story? Ben? Jack?

Wrapped Up in Christmas Hope is a reminder that there is always hope for love, even when one has been hurt and is afraid. When Morgan loses her husband in an accident and two years later loses her job, she moves herself and her son Grayson to Pinehill, Kentucky, with her grandparents while she gets on her feet. There, she meets Andrew, a local firefighter. Although there is an instant attraction, she fights it because she is afraid to risk her heart to someone who may be hurt in any way. Grayson adores Andrew though, and they seem to find themselves spending time together often. As they come to care for each other, they must both make choices about the future and what that looks like. I enjoyed this. I am excited for the holidays and this was a nice step towards them! Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the chance to listen to the audiobook. It was a fun little listen! The narrators also both did a great job. I love books with more than one narrator.

Such a cute sappy firefighters and Santa holiday read. Firefighter falls for small town girl who has a young son who wants to be a firefighter. The only hard part is his father tragically passed in a fire accident. Can she really let herself and her son go thru the same situation with another firefighter.

Wrapped Up in Christmas Hope by Janice Lynn was just so saccharine sweet and over the top that I did not finish listening to it. It was just too much. The characters were just ridiculously cutesie, the Butterflies were drawn as stereotypical Southern women to the point it was insulting and Morgan was so stuck in her head about not dating anyone who took risks that it was repetitive and boring since you knew they were going to wind up together in the end. I just couldn't read it all the way through and I LOVE Christmas books!

I found the way the audiobook was presented, with male and female alternating chapters to be very distracting as the characters were hard to follow with the changing voices.

Thanks to the author, Hallmark Publishing and NetGalley for an ARC of this novel in exchange for my honest review.

I liked this story and the male Narrator was good but the woman was so off putting, It was like a robot trying to be human. I am sorry to be mean but I almost stopped listening. The book itself is great, funny and a great story.

A sweet story of overcoming fears and life’s true calling. Morgan moves to small town, Pine Hills, Kentucky to be near family and friends after the heartbreak of losing her husband and then a year later her job. As a single mom, to the adorable 5 year old Grayson she tends to be a little over protective. All her son can think of, talk about is being a firefighter. So when the Pine Hills firefighters come to visit Grayson kindergarten class he develops a huge case of hero worship.
Andrew is a drawn to the women across the class who is hovering over a small boy. When it came to pass out plastic fire helmets, Grayson is 1st in line. Andrew is charmed by the enthusiasm of the small boy, but his mother is very reserved. Andrew tries to flirt with Morgan, but she wasn’t falling for it.
Morgan fear of danger and Andrew is holding down a dangerous job. Andrew dangerous job has him fear commitment. Will they learn to overcome their fears? Grayson is a sweetie and the side story of the “Butterflies” will have you laughing. Yes! Must be made into a Christmas movie. Glad to hear that there are other books, I didn’t even realize it is a series. I listened to the audiobook, the narrators did a wonderful job. Thank you NetGalley for this ARC. I am voluntarily posting an honest review after reading an Advance Reader Copy of this story. #NetGalley #WrappedupinChristmasHope #JaniceLynn

Hallmark strikes again! From the moment this firefighter laid eyes on this mom he was captured. The catch? He wasn’t into long term relationships. As this friendship dragged out and everyone got more attached it made it harder to let go with career changes. This book definitely tugs on the heart strings. Great read!

I want to thank Netgalley and Hallmark Publishing for allowing me to listen to the audiobook of Wrapped up in Christmas Hope by Janice Lynn. Morgan and her son move back to Pine Hill Kentucky after the untimely passing of her husband. Pine Hill is a small town with a huge love of everything Christmas. Morgan wants to ensure that this is the best Christmas of her son’s life. Enter Andrew, a charismatic firefighter who is a daredevil like Morgan’s husband. Morgan’s son gravitates toward him as does Morgan.

This story is perfect for Hallmark Christmas lovers. I, however, had trouble finishing it. I did not enjoy the narrator’s pace and cadence. I also felt that there were too many Christmas references -yes I know it is a Christmas story but they didn’t serve a purpose.

If this hasn’t been made into a Hallmark Christmas movie yet, I pray it does one day. I loved this story and these characters, especially Grayson, Morgan’s little boy.

Morgan and Grayson have returned to her grandparent’s home town after suffering a huge loss. Morgan wanted to give Grayson back some normalcy and family connections. The loss she suffered though has left her scared and closed off to love. They meet Andrew, a firefighter, and suddenly Morgan is drawn to him and questioning everything she’s been telling herself about love since her loss.

I loved the main characters, Morgan, Grayson and Andrew, but also the Butterflies, a group of older women who are lifelong friends with each other.

I highly recommend this Christmas love story.

*I was given the opportunity to listen to a NetGalley audiobook copy of this book but these are my own opinions.

Wrapped Up in Christmas Hope by Janice Lynn
A holiday small town romance by Hallmark. Third book in the series. Can be read as a stand-alone.
Andrew is a firefighter in the small town of Pine Hill, KY. He doesn’t want to get emotionally tied down because his goal is to be a smoke jumper in California which he knows is a dangerous job. But he’s having a hard time resisting the cute little boy that tugs at his heart.
Morgan is a widow of a daredevil and wants nothing more than small town love and support. Andrew seems to be the perfect match for her and her son.

An adorable holiday story that will steal your heart. Andrew falls in love with both mother and son but stills want to peruse his dream job.
Sweet and heartwarming. The little boy is precious. Andrew is torn and Morgan is stronger than she thinks.
A beautiful holiday love story.

🎧 I listened to an audiobook version narrated by Madeleine Maby and Seth Podowitz in alternating chapters and POV. Both narrators did a fantastic job with the performance. Each did both male and female for their chapters. Madeleine’s range was fantastic including the young boy’s voice. I liked Seth’s voice for the male point of view. It was nice to have the two switching off. I listened to this at 1.2 which is my preferred setting.

I received a copy of this from NetGalley and Hallmark and Dreamscape Media.

Once again Hallmark Publishing has another winner with author Janice Lynn. What a superb Christmas story. Who can resist a sweet, reserved and widowed mother along with her adorable 5 year old son. If that doesn't tug at the heartstrings, throw in a hunky firefighter who makes it clear his purpose in life is to save lives. But Morgan wants no part of loving someone that puts his life on the line every single day. She thinks it's a reckless way to live. After all, she is a widow because her husband loved the challenge and excitement of extreme sports. And look how that ended - she became a widow and a single mother. Andrew has always steered clear of any woman with a child. He has no desire to ever marry. His goal in life is to train to be a smoke jumper and fight forest fires. Not exactly a father friendly profession. But something about Morgan and Grayson draws him in. Morgan has declared she will never date again let alone marry, but the heart doesn't always listen to the voice of reason. As always, can't wait to see this made into a movie. AND, loved the book so much I requested the previous 2 books in this series.
Thank you to NetGalley and Hallmark Publishing for this advanced review copy. In return, I am submitting my unbiased and voluntary review. All opinions and thoughts are my own.

Wrapped Up in Christmas Hope was such a refreshing uplifting Christmas read! I am also from Kentucky so it was fun to read a book that takes place there!

I am growing to love Christmas romances via audiobook. This one had two narrators a male and a female and they took turns telling the story when I am assuming the author switched points of view in the book. I preferred the female's voice more but only because when the male was narrating and he tried to do the lady's talking they all sounded like they were whining and due to context of the book, I knew they weren't.

For the plot of the book, I loved it. Romance books always seem better when they happen around the extra joy of the holidays. I loved that the author created tension with the job that Andrew wants set against the death of Morgan's husband and how that has impacted the decisions she makes for her and her child. This will they won't they worked well throughout the book because a job getting in the way of love is real and can really impede on a relationship.

I have enjoyed these Christmas romances, even more so on audio and hope to read more as the holiday season approaches.
