My review covers WEDDING WONDERLAND by Samantha Chase

REVIEW: WEDDING WONDERLAND by Samantha Chase is a contemporary adult romance story line, a part of the author’s MAGNOLIA SOUND series, found in the SNOWY EVER AFTER anthology. This is author Mia Kingsley and Austin Coleman’s continuing story line. Mia and Austin’s story begins in THE WAY THE STORY GOES (Magnolia Sound #7).

NOTE: Several characters from Samantha Chase’s Magnolia Sound, Meet Me at The Altar, and Enchanted Bridal series cross over into the current story line.

Told from third person perspective WEDDING WONDERLAND focuses on the preparation for a holiday wedding for our story line couple. Unable to settle on a date, a deadline looming for her latest novel, and her mother all but taking control, Mia struggles to make time for what should be a happy event. Frustrated by his beloved’s inability to settle down, Austin suggests a Christmas wedding, a wedding with only a few weeks to plan. With the help of family, friends, and local business owners, Mia and Austin’s wedding in Magnolia Sounds is all set to go until a snow storm puts a stop to everyone’s plans.

WEDDING WONDERLAND is a quick read; a fast paced, enchanting and heart warming story of romance, family, friendships and love-the perfect read for the holiday season.

Authors Samantha Chase and Stefanie London bring joy to the Christmas season with Snowy Ever After. Both novellas are well-written and will definitely put you in the holiday spirit. Being snowed in is the common theme.

Wedding Wonderland SC

Mia Kingsley and Austin Coleman are madly in love, so much so that they decide to get married within a few months of announcing their engagement. As a result, a Christmas wedding. Although it has not snowed heavily in Magnolia Sound for eons, a blizzard roles in the day before their big day, which wrecks havoc on their wedding plans. Happily, it all works out in the end, thanks to their amazing friends and Austin's family.

Destined for Forever SL

Lily Dun and Sean Hutcherson were sort-of friends way back when, and shared a chaste kiss that never left their respective memories. Now they are both in Boston, attending the same holiday wedding. The majority of the guests are from Patterson’s Bluff in Australia, both Lily's and Sean's hometown. About five years ago Lily moved to Los Angeles to pursue a screenwriting career, and she has been successful. Sean is a surfer and manages a bar Down Under. After years a part, they finally explore their feelings for each other and find their happily ever after.

I enjoyed both novellas and recommend them to anyone who is in the mood for some romantic holiday cheer.

WEDDING WONDERLAND by Samantha Chase:
Instead of waiting for summer, Mia and Austin decide to marry at Christmastime, with only two months to prepare. Will they have a picture-perfect day, or will their best-laid plans go awry?

While this story stands alone, I highly recommend reading THE WAY THE STORY GOES first. I love Chase's family-oriented, sensual small-town romances. This holiday novella captures the strong characterizations, the emotional conflicts, and the heartwarming romance typical of her books.

DESTINED FOR FOREVER by Stefanie London:
After screenwriter Lily gets dumped by her actor boyfriend on live TV, she travels to Boston for a friend's wedding. Also on the plane is Sean, her high school crush, heading to the same wedding. Wanting to avoid the matchmaking efforts of their relatives, they pretend to be dating. Will their fake relationship turn real?

London is a new-to-me author, and I was immediately pulled in by the engaging voice and strong characters. I loved Zoey, and Sean was a sweetheart. His laidback attitude was a good foil to her career-oriented nature. I enjoyed how they helped each other grow.

Thanks, NetGalley, for the ARC I received. This is my honest and voluntary review.

Two holiday reads.

I liked both stories. The themes were similar with Christmas, busybody families and a light tone. Very much in the vein of a Hallmark movie.
Enjoyed and I can recommend. Even better with some hot chocolate..

WEDDING WONDERLAND by Samantha Chase:

Mia Kingsley and Austin Coleman are planning the winter wedding of their dreams. The dreams did not include a freak snowstorm and cancellation of all their best laid plans! The Coleman family ups their game to make the wedding one for the books!

DESTINED FOR FOREVER by Stefanie London

Lily Dunn, a romance screenwriter, never envisioned the dumping she received on live television. She heads to a family wedding and runs into her high school crush on the flight. How should she get through this wedding unscathed? Enlist Sean's help to be a fake boyfriend of course!

I love Christmas and I love holiday romances so when I found out I could get two romances from two of my favourite authors in one book it was always going to be a book I was going to read and let me just say Snowy Ever After was everything I expected and so much more.

Wedding Wonderland by Samantha Chase
Back in Magnolia Sound for Mia Kinsley and Austin Coleman’s wedding but plans for the big day are not going well and it’s seems everything that could go wrong has gone wrong. But as familiar faces gather for the wedding Christmas works it magic to make the perfect wedding. I love my visits to Magnolia Sound and this book has an added attraction of catching up with characters from previous books, it’s a story of love and families and I highly recommend it to all romance lovers.

Destined For Forever by Stephanie London
Being dumped is bad enough but being dumped on live TV takes hurt and heartbreak to another level. Lily Dunn was that girl and now everyone she meets seem to have an option on what she needs to do and her cousins wedding could not have come at a worst time. But sometimes fate throws her a curveball and on route to the wedding she bumps into Sean, a childhood friend. Sean immediately steps up to save the day and offers to become her fake boyfriend and that’s when the fun and games begin. What follows is a fun, entertaining read as this couple realise they want more than fake but living on opposites sides of the world only adds to their dilemma.

Snowy Ever After is a magical read that will appeal to a wide range of audiences.

"Love was funny like that. It was like an ocean-frightening and vast, with depths unknown. It could drown you. Or it could help you soar."

Snowy Ever After features two winter wedding novellas in one festive holiday read. First is Wedding Wonderland by Samantha Chase. This is a part of her Magnolia Sound series, which also happens to be the name of the small North Carolina town where the protagonists, Mia and Austin, live. When a freak snowstorm threatens to ruin their nuptials, the family and town step in to save the day!

Destined For Forever by Stefanie London follows Lily and Sean and is a part of her Pattersons Bluff (small-town Australia) series. Lily moved to LA to pursue her screenwriting career, only to have her heart broken on stage by her actor ex. She's heading across the country to Forever Falls for her cousin's wedding but runs into her high school crush, Sean at the airport. The pair decide to fake date each other to get through the wedding and we all know how that goes...

Both of these romances were heartwarming and fun and the chemistry between both sets of main characters was great! You could tell how besotted Austin was with Mia and the same with Sean and Lily. Lily called Sean a "kind-hearted, sexy marshmallow of a man" and that's my kind of description!

Because I've already read a couple of books set in its world, I did prefer Destined For Forever as I was familiar with some of the characters. I also just really like London's writing style and the little Aussie mentions throughout. When Lily said she likes double-coated Tim Tams I knew I was going to enjoy the book 😉. Lily and Sean were so cute together and I loved how they both helped each other pursue their dreams. It was just the sweetest... but there is a hint of spice as well, don't worry.

After reading Wedding Wonderland I'd definitely be keen to read more of the Magnolia Sound series (there are 9 books total). Overall, if you want a cozy winter romance to enjoy this season, here are two for the price of one!

Thank you to the authors and NetGalley for the ARC. All opinions are my own.
