I loved this book. I am so happy I finally got to read this. I’ve missed each character so much! This is the 4th book and it’s the best one!

I did not read the previous books in the series so maybe that was why I wasn't into this book. I found the character to be annoying and wishy-washy. The jokes weren't funny and I became bored.

If Cynthia St. Aubin writes it, I will read it. Period. Her colorful descriptions and laugh-out-loud snark are sheer brilliance. She can put together seemingly unrelated words to create the perfect scene in a single sentence. I have never failed to get lost in one of Ms. St. Aubin's stories. And always, when I'm done, I go into mourning as I wait for another. This has all the elements of a great novel: steady character development, a well-rounded plot with the right amount of action and adventure, and off-the-charts chemistry between the main characters. You'll also find yourself falling in love with the support characters and secretly hoping they get a story of their own, too. If you want to be highly entertained, look no further than this author's books.

I didn’t realize until I started reading that this is a 4th and final book of a series. I liked what I read so far, but I didn’t want to review this book.

This is a well-written steamy paranormal romance series and this book doesn’t disappoint. If you love this series then this book is a must read. It had me going through my emotions. There of course were plenty of laugh out loud moments, but here were also a few moments where I teared up. The characters are great especially Hanna will the sassy attitude, food obsessions, and self doubts.

All thoughts and opinions are my own, and in no way have I been influenced by anyone.

A big thank you to NetGalley and Olive Heber Books for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. This is the 4th book in a series. I think it reads better if you read them in order. There are a lot of people and it could get confusing if you are reading this as the first book. This was a totally fun and wild read. Also sort of sad as well. I still enjoy that Hanna is so unknowledgeable about the supernatural. I especially enjoyed the niece and nephew-they are hilarious!! Overall an enjoyable quick read. 4 stars

I loved the first three books in this series, but unfortunately, this one fell flat for me.

After mating with Mark, Hanna thought that her life would become a little easier. However, it's proving to be anything but. Certain werewolves refuse to acknowledge Hanna's rule as heir, she's cursed with nightmares of a mysterious entity determined to destroy her, and Morrison is a strigoi hell-bent on murdering her for breaking his heart. And on top of that, she hasn't been able to shift since the night she and Mark mated. When she and Mark travel to Ireland for The Gathering, Hannah must decide whether to trust her claim as heir or leave the shifter world for good.

Despite the story falling flat for me, there were some elements that I enjoyed. I loved the introduction of new lore like the Strigoi and dragons. I also loved the side characters like Crixus, Allan, and Hayden. Hayden's introduction to the book is one of the things that kept me reading. He was sweet, delightful, and surprisingly optimistic based on his history.

But while I liked a lot of the side elements in this book, I think that Mark and Hanna's story is played out. I thought that their chemistry would go beyond just physical once they mated, but it didn't. The only things the two seem to do are have sex and fail to communicate. There were pacing problems with their story, fueled by the endless communication problems between the two. It made sense for him to be guarded before she was officially part of the paranormal world, but now that she is and that they're mated for life, his secrecy is a bit of a red flag.

The book also lacked the main focus of a mystery, which I think was its shortcoming. The external conflict felt rushed and thrown in since most of the book focused on Hanna's internal issues. If there is a fifth book in the series, I might give it a shot, but the series could have ended with the last book, and I think it would have been a lot better.

Thank you, NetGalley and Oliver-Heber Books, for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This book had spunk, sarcasm, and so much relatable inner monologue that I was nodding along the entire way. I'm sad I am joining at book#4, but happy to have met these wonderful characters.

So, as I said, I'm joining this series already in progress and a lot has happened. Turns out that Hanna is some head honcho in the shifter world, but not everyone is on board with that. She's got to convince them that she can shift (which she hasn't been able to do), that she is fit (not in the non-cheese eating sense), and that she has the heart needed to do the job. Oh, and she needs to go to some big event, too.

On top of all that, she's still navigating her relationship with Abernathy, the rich shifter guy who has a long standing history of loss that makes him a little bit overbearing. All these characters have clearly been well developed when I met them, so I am reaping the benefits of the first 3 books. Almost forgot - there's also the typical ex with a heart of gold (that is pretty smutty, too). He just so happens to be a vampire now, and probably wants to kill Hanna. So, yeah, there's a lot going on, but then there's chapters of them babysitting Hanna's niece and nephew. I'm so sad that this story arc ends here, but happy to have been exposed to the wonder that is Hanna.

Ugh idk where to start. I liked it. Didn't love it. It was either waaaaayyyyy too slow or everything felt rushed. Not one of my favorites honestly. 3⭐

I have been a long time fan of Cynthia St Aubin, and I snap up her books whenever she publishes one and I was super happy to get this copy through NetGalley in exchange for a review, which I am very happy to provide.
I would recommend that you read the Series in order, otherwise you might feel a bit adrift with the storyline. There were many laugh out loud moments, some steamy lovemaking and action and suspense. I forced myself to read the book slowly and not devour it in one sitting since I wanted to pleasure to last. Great Author and great Read.

Cynthia St. Aubin has done it again! She has provided us with a clear winner in this 4th book in the series (which could be your first, but you'll want to go back and read the others). Hanna and Abernathy are absolutely perfect as is this story. Perfectly written with well-developed characters both main and background, this unputdownable book will give you EVERYTHING you hope for in a well-written book. Snarkiness galore and laugh-out-loud moments will keep you swiping the pages of your Kindle until the very end. Action abounds, some tense moments, and amazing chemistry with a heat level that will have you fanning yourself, but totally not smutty! If this is your first read by this author, it most certainly won't be your last, her other stories are just as remarkable as this one. ONE-CLICK NOW! You'll be glad you did!

And they're back! Hannah is just as awesome as before and so's everyone else. It's time for the coronation event and it turns out to be quite a trip! There's so much going on from learning more about Mark's past to interesting dreams, and new characters. From the beginning of the story there are adventures in babysitting to Morrison (yup) to fighting. Be ready to laugh, crave cheese (cause well...cheese) and smile. Even though the way it ends probably means there may not be more, the author does a great job telling this part of their story.

Ask and you shall receive. We asked for more and closure.. Cynthia delivered! We had know it wouldn't be so simple as a ride into the evening with our mate. Not in Hanna's world, we can only agree there will be food lol. This story made me snort laugh and made me cry but it was a definite labor of love and you will feel it through the pages!

It was a quick read, but a little plain. Well, plain might not be the right word for it... Things were either happening too fast or too slow. Hanna doesn't know most things about the supernatural world so she's actually an awful narrator. The jokes fell a little short. The deaths were only there as a shock factor, and did not help with storytelling at all.
I didn't like this book much 🤷🏻‍♀️

Hanna and Abernathy are mated and as the heir Hanna is going to be coronated in a special event. While preparing for the event Hanna is trying to gain her confidence but she’s being stalked. The stalker is not really a surprise if you’ve read the series. As a couple, the two are attempting to do normal activities like babysitting. You’ll remember her brother, Steve, now has twin toddlers that are wrecking havoc as little Nere-were kids. There are a few scenes when they babysit that had me roaring. Hanna has really changed in this fourth book as she takes on the responsibility as the heir, learning about the alphas and traditions. She’s really quite impressed me with her bravery. I’m hoping we get more from Hanna and Mark. I’ve read an early copy and my review was written voluntarily.

This book was such a different take on werewolves and the supernatural community that I fell in love with the story instantly. From the beginning, even though I had not read the first three books, I could understand what was going on and could immerse myself into the story. I loved the characters and how they all interacted with each other. Hanna was such a relatable character that it made it easy to sympathize with her and what she was going through. I loved the different settings and how characters were introduced. I found it very helpful that the author brought some of the plot of the first three books into it because I was able to understand how the characters had gotten to where they were without having read the first three books. I will be reading these books to piece everything together, but I loved how easy it was to separate the story from the other books.

I was so glad when Cynthia St Aubin announced there was going to be another book in this series. And it's one hella perfect addition. Hanna truly comes into her own in some most unexpected ways. There's a ton of hilarity, a dose of suspense, and oodles of sexy. I always love returning to the worlds this author has built and fans will appreciate the nod to another of her fabulous series. I got choked up there at the end. Perfectly satisfying conclusion!

This was an enjoyable read- I really liked seeing Hanna come into her own. The ending was so sad- i hate seeing characters i've come to love die, even if they're not major.
Wish things would get better for Morrison- he's such a likable character, and he keeps risking his life for Hanna time and again. His becoming a vampire (and turning back from Stigoi to his regular self personality wise) is an interesting plot twist. Can't wait to see how his character develops- I actually like him a lot more than Abernathy. I was kind of rooting for Hanna and James to be together to be completely honest.
Overall though a solid read and a great installment in the series.
