This is a magical story of family, sisterhood, stepping up to find courage, and home with a strong sense of setting.

I think the right reader would really like this, but personally I found it a little too morose and whiny. I am not sure why it is being compared to Little Women (unless all books about sisters somehow qualify for comparison) and Nevermoor (which is both more joyous and more malevolent than anything in this particular work). That being said, I could see it doing well as the subject of a middle school fantasy book club.
