Solange Pereira is lending a hand to her Wedding Planner cousin on a random couple’s big day when she happens to stumble upon a very awkward situation: the bride professing her love to someone who is NOT the groom. Solange struggles on what to do, stay silent and let the ceremony proceed or speak up and warn an unknowing groom that his bride is in love with someone else. Dean Chapman is someone who has always had his life mapped up, his wedding day being brought to an abrupt stop was not in his plans. When an opportunity to be promoted to Partner at his law firm is on the table but dependent on him having a partner, in a panic he blurts out his romantic confession for the woman who crashed his wedding: Solange. When Solange agrees to this fake-dating arrangement, the two quickly begin to blur the lines of what is fake and what is real.

I absolutely adored this one!! This book literally checked all my boxes for my ideal Rom-Com read: dual POV’s, fake-dating, amazing secondary characters, supportive family dynamic, hella chemistry and sexual tension between the two MC’s, and non-stop humor. I loved our Brazilian American heroine Solange and all of the Brazilian culture shared throughout the book. I also loved the DC setting! It’s so much fun to read a book and recognize all of the places mentioned.

This book stood out to me because it had its own unique spin on the fake-dating trope and I loved how the story came full circle in the end. This is the second book in this series and when I found that out, ya girl zoomed so fast to Amazon to purchase the first book “The Worst Best Man” which is Lina’s story. HUGE thank you to @netgalley and @avonbooks for this eARC in exchange for an honest review. This title will be available to purchase on April 5th, 2022.

three stars! *:・゚✧ this was such a fun and cute read!! despite being in a reading slump, i’m really enjoyed solange and dean’s story; it was a good amount of cute fake dating mixed with elements of self-love and finding happiness where you can. i loved seeing lina and max in this story, as well as the entire family again! i did feel like the pacing for this story was a little all over the place, and truth be told the romantic aspect of it was lacking just a bit for me because of it. there was a lot of plot going on, if that makes sense, and i think it took away from the development of their relationship. the ending was really sweet, though, and overall i think that this is a super fun, quick read!

Solange interrupts Dean's wedding because she overhears the bride confessing her love to someone who is not the groom. Once Dean reveals that his was to be a marriage of convenience and he needs a solid relationship (or at least the appearance of) for a work promotion, a fake dating scenario is born.

I thought this was a cute book, a fun contemporary romance with a diverse cast of characters. While this wasn't the best thing I've ever read, it was certainly worth an enjoyable few hours reading.

Solange overheard a bride confess her love to a groomsman just before the wedding. She speaks up during the ceremony and the bride stops the wedding. Dean, the groom, isn’t very crushed considering he wasn’t marrying for love, but when he realizes he needs a significant other to try to woo a potential hire and possibly make partner, he lies and says he’s seriously dating the wedding crasher. Solange agrees to help him out and they find they enjoy their time together. Though they both agree dating for real would never work, will they risk exploring the possibility?

I liked that this is in the same world as The Worst Best Man. I enjoy the big family and their involvement. I enjoy the fake dating trope and the characters. It was a little too spicy for me, some of it being a bit outlandish.

"The Wedding Crasher" by Mia Sosa, will grab your happy heart and dance a jig with it! This is the sweetest book ever! My pulse is still going "pitty pat" from reading it. This is a feel-good laugh out loud book! Can you tell I loved it??

Solange Pereira, goes to help her cousin Lina. Lina is a wedding planner and this important event could help make her career. As the wedding begins and the question is asked "Does anyone here have a reason this wedding should not take place?", Solange abruptly stops the wedding. The entire crowd is shocked and demands to know, why? Is Solange crazy? Does she know something? Is a secret about to come out?

The main characters in the book are delightful and well developed. Mia Sosa is a fantastic author that is not afraid to write about unusual situations life throws at people. She writes with creativity and humor. The words are so descriptive you can visualize the scenes as you read. Warning: The novel does have some fairly graphic sexual content.

"The Wedding Crasher" will be published April 5th.
Congratulations Mia Sosa, for writing this 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ book. (I would give you 10 stars if I could!)

Thank you NetGalley, Avon, and Harper Voyager, for allowing me the honor of reviewing this outstanding e-book. It warmed my heart.❤ This book is going to be a huge hit!

I loved this book. It was nice to be able to see some of the character from her other book make appearances in this one. I related to Solange because I feel I am always walking into something at the worst time. This book made me laugh but also at times I wanted to yell at the character to just talk to each other. If was a fun light read.

Let's start off by saying that I am ASHAMED that I have never read The Worst Best Man. I will be reading it immediately. Okay, moving on.

If you're a lover of fake dating, one bed, emotionally unavailable men, dual POV and spice - this book is for you!

Things I love: Mia Sosa's writing style. It's right up my alley. The banter between the characters and the inner dialogue. The plot was adorable and it was done really well. The family and friend support is soooo sweet.

Guys, not only was the connection and tension between Solange and Dean palpable throughout the entire book, but their communication was everything I want in a book. There is nothing worse to me than miscommunication for no reason!

Solange is smart and witty and hilarious, wanting someone to love her and be all in.
Dean is quiet, "stuck-up" (but not really. I love this man), allergic to love. can bump and grind to "Pony".
What can possibly go wrong? or RIGHT? 😏

Things I don't love: Peter.

Thank you to NetGalley, the publisher & Mia Sosa for kindly sharing this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

As soon as I finished this book, I ran to my friend and started gushing about it for an hour straight. This is now one of my favorite romance books ever written and I will not stop until everyone on this planet had read it (and loved it!).

Solange prevents a wedding from happening because she doesn’t want anyone else to have a relationship like her parents had. This causes a domino effect that leads her to fake date 2 times to try to keep everyone around her happy.
There were some spicy scenes in it that I wasn’t expecting. There was some unexpected occurrences at the end that I really enjoyed.
Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC. All opinions are my own.

A cute rom-com. This wasn't as good as The Worst Best Man in my opinion - it wasn't quite as funny. But there were some funny scenes - I loved the "party" scene, and the ending was equal parts hilarious and sweet.

What do you do when you see the bride to be in a compromising situation with another man? You stop the wedding of course. Solange has seen what a marriage with no love can turn to and she does not wish that on anyone. Dean has everything in his future planned out and this wedding was simply part of that plan, and now that has been thrown off course. But when he learns that not having a significant other may cause him to lose out on a project at work, he knows that he needs to enlist the help of the person responsible for his wedding going up in smoke.

Dean and Solange both have strong feelings about love that have been influenced by their upbringings. Dean does not see romance as something he needs or wants in his life, while Solange wants nothing less than that all-encompassing love. They go into this fake dating situation knowing that they want completely different things when it comes to love, and they each use this as a clutch when feelings start to develop on both sides. But as this fake relationship starts to turn into something more they each have to let go of their past and learn to be vulnerable and open to accepting the love that they deserve.

As always the family dynamic in this one is one of my favorite parts of the book. I love strong female friendships and that’s exactly what we see in Solange’s family.

This is easily one of my favorite reads of the year so far.

Thank you to NetGalley and Avon for providing me with an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I received an advanced e-copy of this book from NetGalley and can honestly say this is one of my all time favorite contemporary romances. Not only was it sweet, and incredibly steamy 🌶🌶🌶, but it had me laughing out loud! I couldn’t wait to see what would happen next with the Tias and the cousins! I found myself cheering for the MC’s and the cast of characters surrounding them. I want to be a part of the village too!

This is a must read and I can’t wait to get my hands on a physical copy!!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I like Sosa's style and witty dialogue and this one started out really strong, though I was less thrilled as the book progressed. A good story, though, and pretty hot lovin'.

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐💫. (4.5)
Steam Level: 🔥🔥🔥🔥 (4.5- very descriptive/erotic sex scenes)
Trigger Warning: parental abandonment

Solange is looking for someone who is all in and will love her unconditionally. Dean has his life planned out perfectly, including a marriage of convenience that won't allow love to get in the way of his plans. When Solange puts a stop to Dean's wedding, though, his perfect checklist goes up in flames. Luckily, Solange can make it up to him by pretending to be his new girlfriend and impressing his law firm's potential recruit. Will their fake relationship end in disaster or will both of their beliefs in love be challenged along the way?

I adored The Wedding Crasher so much! I did not read Mia Sosa's previous book in this series, so my first impression of Dean was that he was kind of a prick for wanting to marry someone for convenience. Luckily, my opinion quickly changed once the wedding was done and Dean started spending time with Solange. These two were destined for each other from their first interaction. They had flirty banter, amazing chemistry, and great relationships with their friends. There were some really fun moments throughout the story like a Magic Mike karaoke performance and electrodes that stimulated labor pains (IYKYK 🤣). I also felt like the pacing was just right, and the story never seemed to drag or get boring for me. My only complaint is that I was not prepared for the steam level of this book. I mean, there was a scene at a sex party if that tells you anything 😳 So, personally I would have preferred a little more be left to the imagination in that department. But other than that this book was perfection, and I literally couldn't put it down!

Thank you Netgalley and Avon and Harper Voyager for providing me with an ARC of this book.

The Wedding Crasher is a good one! I loved the open communication that Solange and Dean shared. I really enjoyed getting to know the characters and learning how their family/upbringing shaped them into the adults they thought they needed to be. This read is fun, flirty, and steamy... you get it all!
And please note - I, too, would like to watch Dean perform karaoke to "Pony" by Ginuwine...

The Wedding Crasher

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Wedding Crasher is the second book by Mia Sosa that I’ve read. And I love the depth she brings to her romcoms!

These characters worked through issues and were so introspective. The families that surrounded them brought so much joy to the book too. This one has some steam to it too!

Thanks to @netgalley for this ARC.

Thank you NetGalley and HarperCollins for an advanced copy!

I was so happy to read Dean's story! I loved him so much in the first book and knew he deserved his own happy ending. While I did like the Worst Best Man more, this one is definitely a close second. Solange and Dean are so perfect and I really enjoyed their story. they were both fleshed out so well and their relationship progressed perfectly.

Plus fake dating and only one bed are some of my favorite tropes! and let's not forget the tia's!! the family unit in these books are just so amazing.

I can't wait to read the next book Mia Sosa comes up with, she never disappoints.

Fake dating with a side of spice? Sound like something you might be interested in? If yes, then this ones for you! This is my first read from @miasosaromance and I would absolutely read another. This is a great light read about two opposites that are in need of a fake gf/bf for different reasons. As they get deeper into their fake relationship they both realize that there’s something brewing that is actually real. When they start to question their prior “life plans” they begin to wonder if they could actually make this relationship work in real life. You’re kept on the edge of your seat with the will they/won’t they and hoping that they realize that just like Paula Abdul said “Opposites Attract”. If you’ve got a beach trip in your future then put this at the top of to books to buy and pack. It’s the perfect beach read because it’s not too heavy and has a perfect level of spice without going overboard (IMO). The chemistry between Solange and Dean is HOT and the family and friend support network for both of them is hilariously funny. This one is out on 4/5/22 from @avonbooks and is definitely deserving of a spot on your TBR and Wishlist if it’s not been preordered.

Thanks to @netgalley @miasosaromance and @avonbooks for the chance to preview this ARC.

The Wedding Crasher by Mia Sosa can be read as a standalone, but it's so much more fun if you've read The Worst Best Man first. There are many characters from the first book in this book and it's wonderful to know their back story and get an update on them.

Solange wants someone to love her with their whole heart. Dean is not willing to give his heart away. So if course they end up fake dating. What could go wrong?

Solange and Dean have some wacky adventures: stopping a wedding, fake dating, fake sex, fake labor, a real newborn, axe throwing, boring lawyer dinners, a sex party, career day, the Tias, the Cousins, real mind-blowing sex, last minute plane rides, oh and one more thing, LOVE.

The families in this book make it whole. So much color, life, so many extras. They give you the full picture. The Wedding Crasher would not be as good of a story without the families!

I received an advance review copy for free from NetGalley, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
