Christine takes quite the in-depth, scientific approach to finding the right health plan for your body’s needs. There is a lot of information packed into this book, which at times may feel overwhelming to the reader, but I appreciate that she does include so much detail. That being said, it once again proves just how individualized health/weight loss is, because the macro type that fit me according to her data is not one that has worked for me in the past. However, those looking to lose weight or feel better without any chronic, complicated health issues may benefit from trying one of her plans.

I’ve tried every diet and weight loss plan out there, and nothing seems sustainable. I decided to try this book to use a different approach to fit my body’s needs. The author does a gorge at job explaining why plans and diets don’t work for everyone, and how to tailor your macros to fit your body’s needs. She also includes workout plans, recipes, and meal plans for each macro type. I can’t wait to start trying her suggestions!

Like many women, I’ve tried lots of diets and programs over the course of my 29+ years. I did really well on a really popular global program in the early 2000s and they changed their program and I didn’t keep the materials. I’ve tried low car, low fat, high protein, you name it, I’ve tried it. When it would work for a short time and then taper off, I’d get frustrated. I had found that I did best when I was eating a balanced diet with a mix of carbs, fats, proteins, etc. but couldn’t replicate my original success.

This book changes that. It helps you determine what is going to work best for you, based on YOU. What a novel concept. No two bodies are alike and no two will respond to a given diet the same way. Even more important, to me, is getting the right balance so that I can keep with something long term and keep seeing success, even if that’s just getting healthier and stronger at times. I’m going to definitely give this a try and am working on my grocery list for this weekend’s trip to the grocery store. My foods and choices for my body type. I’m ready and hv already recommended this book to a few friends.

I cannot comment on the scientific nature of the bases on which this diet book is based, but there is no shortage of recipes and explanations regarding the most useful type of gymnastics and nutrition. It is also not one of those crazy diets that tend to starve, which is already a point in its favor.

Non posso esprimermi sulla scientificitá delle basi su cui si fonda questo libro di diete, ma sicuramente non mancano le ricette e le spiegazioni per quanto riguarda il tipo di ginnastica e di alimentazione piú utile. Inoltre non é una di quelle diete folli che tendono ad affamare, il che é giá un punto a suo favore.
