I really enjoyed this introduction into this world and I just couldn’t get enough of it. I just so thoroughly enjoyed meeting these new characters and getting to go on their journey. I will most definitely be reading more wonderful books from this author.

This book was just sadly not for me! I was hoping for something different but it turned out to be something I was not expecting, which is okay and I'm sure someone else would love it!

They are the ultimate weapon. The ultimate secret. They are the Crown’s wolves.

Nova has specific instructions but has no memory of them. When she meets Lycan her world, that is already turned upside down, just gets crazier.

I loved this read for the following reasons
- Fantastic characters. Good ones and bad ones
- Great world building. Feels like you were dropped right into the middle of things.
- Plenty of magic, angst, suspense and romance
- Unique read
- Nail biting moments. Even a moment that made me say a few choice words.

This ending wraps up the Lycan and Nova story but leaves it open for the other brothers.

Nova the FMC wakes with no memory of who she is or how she got to where she is. She's got the name 'Roman' tattooed on her wrist and all she knows is she needs to find him. Roman is one of The Crown Wolves along with his brothers. They are lycans who were cursed to serve the crown, hunting down paranormal creatures who are a threat to humans. I enjoyed reading this book, shifter romance is one of my favourite genres and Bad Moon Rising did not disappoint. Can't wait to read the rest of the series.

Oh my, first time reading this author but not last. Outstanding read. I couldn’t put it down, not a lot of authors do I say that about. This is the story about some brothers that have been cursed to hunt supernatural bad guys for the Crown, and a female with no memory whose seeking to find out who she is with 1 clue. The name Roman tattooed on her wrist.

Bad Moon Rising is an excellent start to a new paranormal series!

The book opens with our heroine, Nova, waking in a car with no memory and a phone text message instructing her what to do. She enters a club, gains access to the basement level where her "mark" is identified as he's playing poker. She gets him to play along and gets him to leave with her, knowing he's just biding his time so he can speak to her privately. Some words are exchanged, some tension (sexual and otherwise), and then when it looks like Nova's mark is going to get violent she gives a signal of flipping a lighter. Then pretty much a gunfight breaks out upstairs and then they get into the thick of it and barely make it out before the club explodes.

Great start, right? Yep. I'm a huge fan of the show Blindspot (Anyone remember that from a few years ago?) and BMR really gave me some happy flashes of similarity. Nova and Roman decide to work together to figure out why Nova has no memory and why Nova has his deceased brother's lighter and knew to signal her with his "tell". Roman and his brothers were cursed by The Crown to work for them and must obey their orders, regardless of their own will. Their handler and their new controller have some worrying ties to some pretty bad organizations.

There really is nothing better for me than a kick-ass female. Nova is smart and can really kick some tail. Roman, for all his years of controlled machinations of The Crown, does still have quite the backbone and spirit. The two work really well together. Plus, the secondary characters of Roman's brothers and his mother were really fun, especially his mom.

The story is fairly fast-paced and has some really fun action scenes. I love a good whodunnit aspect to a story and with Nova's practically erased past and the evil crown/ evil organization crossovers, I was in hog heaven.

I am absolutely looking forward to more in the series!

When I started this book, I really liked it, but as it got going I got a little bored. It had a lot of action, but I was lost for most of it. I felt almost like I'd jumped into the middle of a series instead of the beginning of one. There was a lot going on and not enough backstory. Unfortunately, I ended up not finishing this book. I might have been more likely to finish if I did this one on audio instead. I think it's a fun premise for a series, I just needed a little more to back up what was going on.

“You’re mouthy, unpredictable, and a witchy badass who gets in a way I never will. You’re unique and you matter.”
Bad Moon Rising by Zoe Forward is the novel that hits the ground running from the very first page and doesn’t let up at all until the very last word. This is also one of those books where once you get to the end you end up wanting more. I found myself completely immersed by the last third of the book and stayed up way too late reading because I wanted to find out what happens with Roman and Nova.

Zoe Forward has created a really unique world of Lycans, other paranormal beings, and magic that lives in secret but with the human world. The only way this works is by having an elite group of Lycan brothers that are bound to the British Crown by a curse which makes them take orders, or be subject to death upon their refusal.

Nova is a woman who wakes up with no memory, and the only hint she has is the name “Roman” tattooed on her arm and a burner phone with instructions to go save him from danger. Nova is a really unique character, and I’m curious to see how her character arc continues throughout this series. The hints and snippets that are dropped throughout Bad Moon Rising allude to an even deeper plot in the coming books that what is uncovered in this first book. The way she conducts herself around Roman is honestly one of the reasons I was so keen to see where her storyline is going to be taken. If I say anything more I’ll ruin some major plot points for interested readers, so consider this both a warning and a nudge to go read this book!

“He was afraid of the risk. Of having her and losing her. Life was full of losses. That he knew firsthand.”
Roman is similar to your typical alpha male shifter types, but being that he’s a Lycan he’s bigger, stronger, and doesn’t change into a wolf— which is a unique take on the paranormal lore that I’m used to. Above all else, Roman is honorable and does right by those he is sworn to protect. I love that the more interactions he has with other characters, the more insight we get into his truly wonderful character. Roman is selfless to almost a destructive degree, and he would go to any length to protect those he feels deserve his protection, even Nova.

Bad Moon Rising has a storyline that is fast, and intricate. There are so many strings in play and it could easily get muddled, but Zoe Forward writes in a way that makes it quite easy to keep up with. And the banter between Roman and his family is some of the most fun in the entire book! Bad Moon Rising is available now! If you’re in the mood for a fast-paced, fun, paranormal romantic suspense then Bad Moon Rising is the book for you!

BAD MOON RISING is the first book in The Crown's Wolves series, and let's start with the fact that the Crown is a complete douche with (probably) criminal ties to a syndicate.

Okay, moving on. Nova wakes with no memory of who or what she is. She just has a name tattooed on her wrist, plus a mobile that keeps giving her instructions. She follows the instructions (possibly the only time in the book) and finds Roman. Then the story really gets going as people blow up and we enter a world of lycanthropes and magic.

Now, stick with me here because this may not sound good, but this was a confusing book. There is SO much going on and the reader has no idea about any of it. This is normal though for the first book in the series. There is always a lot of world-building to do, but there is LOT in here. Bad Moon Rising hosts a number of characters, some dead, that you will learn about, plus lifestyles, weaknesses, etc.

Don't think you will walk away knowing what's going on though. Oh, no! This is not a book for those who like everything tied with a neat bow at the end. This series is only just getting started and you will be left with more questions than answers.

A great book though with an individual storyline and take on the paranormal world, and one I can't wait to continue.

Finding light in the darkness
All I can say is, when is the next book coming out? This book was fantastic! The story is filled with intricate details that drew me in and kept me enthralled until the end, and left me wanting so much more. The characters are phenomenal and I felt for them as they struggled to find their path, and their HEA. I love the different layers and angles to the fight on evil, especially the way this family plays a pivotal part in the fight. This book was my first experience with this author, and what a wonderful way to start, but it won’t be my last!

When Nova comes to with one target to get Roman out of the downstairs of the club things happen quickly but Roman is the target if she could remember anything else even her name would be nice. When Roman and Nova finally get to talk he tells her she is a Lycan but has a magic mark on the back of her neck but she is also his assignment to be killed. Roman is cursed and he has to do what he is told or he begins to die, but he feels more for her than anyone ever. The story was very active and though it didn’t end in a cliffhanger the epilogue wants you to read the next book.

Bad Moon Rising is a multi perspective supernatural romance, the first in a new series. Nova wakes with no memory of anything: who she is, how old, or that she is even a supernatural being. The only thing she knows is from a text demanding she find a man and remove him from a nightclub. Funny thing is she also has his name tattoo on her arm. So unless she wants to spend the rest of her life with no clue to her past, she needs to get Roman out of that club and maybe he will even have some answers for her.
This book was a good one, very entertaining. I enjoyed the characters and the world set up. The concept that one of the characters has absolutely no memory at all added great dynamic elements to the story, as well as the romantic development between Nova and Roman. There was not a lot of information about the curse that plagues Roman and his brother, just a few pieces of information, so I am hoping that in the next book we will get more information about it. Nova and Romans relationship is very intense and fast. I want to know more about Nova's past and what is going on with Roman and his family, they are a mysteries bunch. I did enjoy this book and had a good time with it. Definitely check this one out if you're looking for a fast paced, action packed and steamy supernatural romance, I will definitely be checking out the second book in series.
Trigger warnings: loss of loved one, violence, bloodshed
I received this advanced ebook, via Netgalley. This review is my own honest opinion.

What a way to start a new series! Bad Moon Rising drew me into the lives of Roman and Nova from the first chapter until the last… and hoping that we get more soon, real soon. It’s also an intriguing premise that the Crown actually knows about and uses those with paranormal abilities in order to “take care of business”. I’m still a bit up in the air as to whether that’s a good thing or a horrible idea – there are definitely pros and cons, and perhaps too much power. We’ll see as the series unfolds.

Bad Moon Rising is also action-packed right from the start. Nova awakens with no real memories but with a name tattooed on her body and a need to find one man, Roman, and get him away from danger… which leads to, yep, even more danger for them both. And that man is charged with dealing with Nova, not falling in lust (oh, I mean love) with her. *wink*

I liked the worldbuilding in this one. I, personally, believe that every new series needs some worldbuilding for readers to understand the universe they’re stepping into… not everyone agrees with that, but each reader to their own preferences. Yet, I feel that without the worldbuilding in Bad Moon Rising I would have been a bit confused for this world of Lycans and Magic (like all paranormal worlds) needs a bit of explaining the “rules” in order for me to fall into it without question. (one little spoiler: you’re gonna rethink your idea of a werewolf in this one)

Most of what you’d want to know about this story can be found in the Cover Description, and I’m feeling like saying much more than that would tell you things that should be discovered firsthand. I can and will say that I completely enjoyed my time with Nova and Roman – and most of the other characters I met, and I’m definitely looking forward to returning to this world for the next adventure.

If you like discovering new paranormal worlds, characters that make you laugh, cry, get angry, and sometimes want to smack upside the head, a story that keeps your attention, and a couple you’ll cheer on to find not only answers but a future together then you’ll love Bad Moon Rising. I had fun here, and that’s the entire point.

This was an interesting read. I wasn't sure if I was going to like it at first. I enjoy Zoe's books, she write great characters and storyline that keep me entertained. Roman was an total jerk, Nova made me second guess myself the entire time and don't get me started on the royalty.

I'm curious and enjoyed Bad Moon Rising and Roman and Nova. Zoe has started a storyline that leaves me so many questions. The good kind. I'll absolutely be picking up book two.

An exciting start to The Crown's Wolves. He is lethal, she is his target but his pull to her is undeniable. Dynamic characters an engrossing storyline and fabulous world building. I will be reading more if this series and would recommend to readers.

In this new series by Zoe Forward, Nova enters the story remembering nothing about herself. She does know that she must find the man in the picture on her phone and get him out of the night club. Roman, the man from the night club, is highly suspicious of Nova. He's also attracted to her. However, his job prevents him from having a personal life and he simply cannot become entangled with her. Nova knows no one else and clings to him while she regains bits of information about herself and her abilities. Together, they end up seeking out how what happened to her all the while trying to keep them both safe and alive from an unknown enemy.
Opinion
This book is an absolute must read for any fans of the Jason Bourne series who also happen to love paranormal. The story was right up my alley. From start to finish, I was completely immersed in what was happening. There were several parts that made me do a double take to see if that really happened. I cannot recommend this book enough. Run, go get this book. You can thank me later.
Many thanks to Net Galley for providing me with an ARC of this novel.

Nova wake with no memory of who she is or how she got to where she is. All she knows is she needs to find the guy who's name is tattooed on her wrist, Roman.

Roman and his three brothers are The Crowns Wolves. They are lycans who were cursed by a witch to serve the crown, hunting down paranormal creatures who are a threat to the humans.

I enjoyed Bad Moon Rising, It is different from other werewolf books I've read. It was definitely an entertaining adventure. I look forward to the next book and reading more by Zoe Forward.

I was intrigued with this book just by reading the blurb. And as it is a new to me author, I was really hoping that the book would live up to the blurb. And boy did it!!

Lycan Roman Lanzo and his brother's were bound to the crown of England. He doesn't have a choice in what he is asked to do for the crown, and if he refuses-he is punished. But then he meet's a Lycan female. She is rare, beautiful, fierce, and powerful. And he needs to protect her with everything he is. Nova woke up not knowing who she is with a set of instructions that leads her to Roman. A man whose name is tattooed on her skin. She doesn't know if he can truly figure out her past, but she is willing to give him the chance. And when a kill order is put out for her, she will have to decide whether to run and hide or to give up everything in order to keep the male she loves a chance.

I absolutely loved this story!! Not only did it suck me in right from the start (and have me laughing!) but the storyline kept me engaged and involved in the story. I didn't want this story to end. Roman is this stand up man who is just trying to make it day by day and keep his family safe. He struggles with the things they have to do to a point, although I honestly think at his core that is who he is. Just not unwillingly. Nova-I still would love to know more about what happened to her in the past. And I hope that we see more in subsequent books as I think it will tie into them in some way. I loved the secondary characters, even including his mother!! She made me laugh and I loved her! Honestly, the only thing that I didn't like was that it felt like there was another series that lead into this one in the beginning. And I don't know if there is, but at the very beginning it did feel that way. That was literally the only thing that was off putting for me with this book! I can't wait to read more!!
