#TheDoctorsClubSeries book 1 ⁣

I really enjoyed this one, older main characters, well closer to my own age than the usual mid 20s age range I normally read! ⁣

A mystery man with a hero complex ⁣

4 strong, fearless women who are best friends ⁣

A mysterious body dump ⁣

A possibility of home grown terror⁣

This is a great tale full of action and romance. The plot while easy to follow is engaging and enthralling. ⁣

Very much enjoyable⁣

This book started out well, but I lost interest halfway through the book. I love how the book started out with Cyn finding a body at the security gate of her home and her first interactions with the police chief Joe. With the constant meetings with the 'Club', I started disengaging from the story and feeling last connected to the main characters. I also thought that the story got bogged down with background information on peripheral characters. The story started to have more 'telling; than showing moments. The book has an interesting premise but it just didn't pan out for me. I received a free copy of this ebook from the publisher through Netgalley. This is my honest and voluntarily given review.

Cyn is the first book in the ''the doctors club'' series by Tamsen Schultz. I started this book with no expectations but honestly?. It was a fun ride and the wild one. We are following Dr. Cyn Steele, a succesful woman who happens to find a body in the driveway of her mansion. The dead body has a calling card with a number and Cyn founds herself intrigued and worry. But the new chief of police is open to help her and find out what's going on. Cyn is a really fast-paced, entertaining and captivating read. The mystery aspect of this book was really cool and well written. Cyn is a character that from time to time, got on my nerves, but by the end I liked her a lot. I think her story with the police was cute and sexy and I wish we could have seen more of them together. The mystery and the romance are well balanced and I liked the ending and how the author solved all the plot twists.
I really enjoyed this book and i can't recommend it enough.

This is a new series by this author and it was certainly entertaining! This is about a group of four international spy's. This book was about Cyn discovering a dead body on her property where she meets Chief of Police Joe. Without giving anything away, I will say that it was a great story and I'm looking forward to book two already!

I wasn’t sure about this title, but I am definitely hooked and can’t wait for the next book. A pulse pounding romantic suspense as Dr. Cyn Steele and her friends in the “Doctors Club” try to stop a terrorist attack. Cyn is a professor in her day job, but her intelligence work is constant. Returning from a trip she finds the body of a young man outside her gate. Contacting the police, she is surprised when Police Chief Joe Harris arrives…he is not the man she expected. Joe is the handsome nephew of the previous chief or “New Joe” as she calls him. As they spend time together, the attraction between them is immediate and an attraction of the body and mind. As he learns her secrets, he is along for the ride and does what he can to assist her friends and her many unique contacts. Will they be able to find out what the home-grown terrorists have planned for the city of Boston before it is too late? The strong characters and a race to stop the attack will have you turning the pages until the exciting end! I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation for an honest review.
