This book definitely puts cannabis is in a positive and takes the stigma out of a controversial, highly debated plant. I learned cannabis/marijuana is not all bad especially the therapeutic uses for CBD, the non-hallucinogenic part of the plant. I knew a little bit about CBD benefits being a licensed massage therapist, but this book explains that well.

This book also describes some games/activities a person can participate in while high safely. I do not know why in my younger years why I did not keep a "high" journal, oh the ideas I had! I found some of the recommended ideas quite humorous.

I recommend this book as a read to gain more knowledge and enlightenment on such a controversial topic. It was well written and researched.

Thanks to Netgalley, Melanie Abrams, Larry Smith and Sourcebooks for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This book was such a nice surprise! It’s well-written in a conversational style and divulges lots of info taken from studies, etc. The best part was the suggested games and other fun things to do when you’re high. I’m definitely going to have a much better weekend trying some of them out!

Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for providing an ARC. This review contains my honest, unbiased opinion.

I don't even know how to begin this review. This was one of the bestest, most comprehensive books I've ever read. And yes, I know that was the worst grammar ever, but that was truly the best description. Not only does this book cover the scientific aspect of cannabis and terpenes, it goes over what strains are best for what conditions. It answers all the questions you've ever been afraid to ask. How do I use a bong? What's the difference between a joint and a blunt? It teaches you how to make a snow bong, how to blow smoke rings. The list of activities is amazing. Some of these I've already indulged in, but I definitely have added some things to my to-do list. Like take a ballet class while high. After making my next batch of edibles, I will be doing the green cleaning. I've never been so excited for spring to come so I could take an outdoor run/hike while high. While I loved having access to this ARC, I will be purchasing the hard cover and using it like a journal. The only suggestion I can make would be to add little tick boxes to each activity so you can mark off what you've tried. Maybe a little section to write about how it went, but the margins will work for that also. Thank you so much to the authors and publisher for getting this much needed educational resource into people's hands.
