tale of two sisters and how it is hard work to get along. However, the hard work pays off. Sometimes you need the help of mom and each sister needs their own space, but it takes hard work.

I think this is a great book for big sisters to read. It affirms that it is hard to be big sister but there are ways to smooth things out. For the little sisters in your life.

A special thank you to Nahrain Taylor and Netgalley for the ARC and the opportunity to post an honest review.

A book for very young readers, this is a well illustrated, few words, breezy, easy book which shows how sisters love and relate to each other. Well illustrated, easy to follow, probably ideal for very young kids, would be a fun book.

After reading this, I was left with more questions that answers. The sisters seem to share a routine, pleasant day together with no major conflicts. The elder sister helps the younger one with several things, almost to the point of wondering where the kids' caregiver is. While family members definitely look out for each other, siblings shouldn't be "hard work" for young kids, so I wasn't sure if it was supposed to come across with the elder sister having so much responsibility or if some nuances just got lost in the text.

There was also a line ("I can dig with my red hat on.") that seemed to come out of nowhere and didn't fit in the context of the story, though I flicked back and forth several times trying to figure out where it fit in.

The strongest part of the book was the bright, colorful, and lively illustrations. They were a very appealing accompaniment to the text.

Many thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review.

Sisters are hard work- even as adults! I think it's important to show children that relationships aren't always easy, and sometimes you need to put in work to be a good friend or good sister,
