I will definitely be picking up this book when it is releases on June 14, 2022. Love seeing the pictures and hearing her experiences. I'm a traveler and some of these countries are on my radar. Even if I can't travel right now at least I can travel from home. It felt like the author and I were just telling stories about our adventures.

This right here is such an inspiring read, full of adventure and wonder and lots of experiences that I cannot help but wish to read it all.
You don't have to love travel to enjoy this, however a taste or yearning for exploration would make this an enjoyable read.

I can tell from this preview that this is going to be a book that I will love and will read over and over. I quickly fell in love with the breathtaking photos and the awe-inspiring memoir. I can't wait to get my hands on the rest of this book and I look forward to it's release.

“The Catch Me if You Can” by Jessica Nabongo is a beautifully crafted book. Although my version was a digital e-ARC sample, I have the feeling that - in keeping with National Geographic (the publisher) style books and magazines - seeing it in its full printed glory would be outstanding. The photos are lush, lovely, and beautiful. The illustrations are the same. If you want to travel the world from your couch, this will most likely be a wonderful way to accomplish that. Ms. Nabongo’s writing reads like she’s next to you chatting about her trip over a table you are both sharing at a local coffee or tea shop - it’s folksy, it’s comforting, it’s real. A strong recommendation. I also recommend checking out her blog for more information about Ms. Nabongo, including travel tips and more about her business.

I only got to review a preview of this book from NetGalley, and I have to say that I was sad it was only a preview. Part memoir and part travel journal, this is a book I would read the full version of. I love to travel, but know that I will never make it to all 192 countries, but I felt that in someways I was right there with the author as I was reading along. And the pictures from the author's travel are just breath taking and make the book that much more interesting. For anyone who wants to travel or just learning about how other people grew from their travels, I would highly recommend this book.

The Catch Me if You Can by Jessica Nabongo has been on my radar for quite some time, as I have long been a follower of her popular blog of the same name. I was thrilled to be granted access to this sample widget and, having been teased in this way, I cannot wait to get my hands on the full book.

Jessica Nabongo is the first Black woman to travel to 195 countries, completing her epic journey in October of 2019. Her travelogue and stunning photographs are simply a joy to behold, particularly at a time when the future of travel is unknown. This is a decadent feast of stories, pictures, and inspiration, and I am left longing to indulge in the full, holistic experience when the book is released in the coming months. Whether you have been following Jessica's journey, or if her amazing story is completely new to you, you are in for something very special. Recommended.

While I was not privileged to a full advanced copy of this book (its release is still over 6 months away), the sampling I received was amazing, Jessica Naongo has lived one amazing life! To travel the world, visiting some countries multiple times, is an adventure many people will never have the chance to experience. Inviting readers to glimpse her photographs and stories is like sharing a secret with a friend. Once begun, you will long to sit curled up with this beautiful book for hours browsing page after page.

While I enjoyed viewing the many photographs, I did stumble upon a quote that continues to strike a chord with me. "We have been socialized to believe that a successful life is finding a high-powered and high-paying career, buying a huge house and fancy car, and having a beautiful family. I thought the same once, but turns out, that life doesn't interest me."

While there is nothing wrong with the things she mentioned, for some the overwhelming longing to follow in her footsteps may seem out of reach. The chance to venture down the same path she has chosen is unobtainable. But it's not. Thankfully, through this book, the journey is laid out right before our eyes. All one needs to do is reach out and flip the pages.

I give this book 5 Stars and recommend purchasing a copy to be placed on your coffee table after you have read it from cover to cover!
