This story was a cute and fun read about 2 people from opposite worlds connecting and finding that they have more in common than meets the eye. Camil and Piper would not be a couple that you would naturally put together but they grow to have very strong feelings for each other. Camil is a very serious and focused workaholic, and Piper is a romantic who is writing a story about Camil’s grandparents. I did find that this story could have used more passion and detail, we are told about the way the characters are feeling but I never really felt any chemistry between them. I also found it unrealistic that Piper would leave Camil over him renovating the desert palace differently from what she envisioned. Other than that it was a cute story. I really like Leslie North. I will definitely check out her books in the future. 3 / 5 stars

Sheikh Camil Abadi believes love is just a silly fantasy. Lust, however, is another matter. So when the irrepressible American Piper McCarthy careens into a meeting with him, asking to write about his great-grandparents, he’s much more interested in her than some ancient local legend concerning the infamous Lovers of Al-Fahr… Ohh the storyline was fascinating, deep, intense and I flew through the pages.

4/5 stars!

The heroine is interested in the love story of the hero's ancestors, and at the first meeting with the hero, the two had a one-night stand. Months later the heroine told the hero about the pregnancy and they tackle the changing relationship between them. Will the hero learn more about love and will the heroine take a chance at the hero?

This is the second book in the Sheikhs Pact trilogy. It features a couple with a surprise pregnancy and hurt by love. There are supportive single-parent units from both sides and a cameo appearance from a character from the first book. It would be nice to have some more details in some parts of the story. Overall a nice romance book with a nice couple.

**Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for the review copy. All opinions and thoughts in the review are my own.**

In all honesty I don’t have much to say about this book. The plot was not that great for me, but I really loved the romance and the main characters. Camil does not believe in love in the beginning. But his love declaration was absolutely amazing and it made me cry

A big thank you to NetGalley and Relay Publishing for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. This is part of a series but reads great as a stand alone. This is Sheikh Camil and Piper's story. It is a quick fun easy read. Its pretty predicable, but I enjoyed the joy Piper has in the culture and her enthusiasm. It had some cute parts. Overall a good read. 3.5 stars

Sheikh's pregnant American by Leslie North.
Sheikh's pact book 2.
Sheikh Camil Abadi believes love is just a silly fantasy. Lust, however, is another matter. So when the irrepressible American Piper McCarthy careens into a meeting with him, asking to write about his great-grandparents, he’s much more interested in her than some ancient local legend concerning the infamous Lovers of Al-Fahr…
After they share an unforgettable night of pleasure, Camil assumed that was the end of it. But two months later, Piper is back… And Camil is shocked to discover that she’s pregnant with his child. But as they spend more time together, the Sheikh who doesn’t believe in love suddenly finds himself falling head over heels for the beautiful writer.
Piper is excited to research the famous Lovers of Al-Fahr. It’s the perfect story for her romantic soul. She only wishes that kind of love would find her. Camil may be the most gorgeous, sexiest man she’s ever met, but love? That’s not in the cards—at least not for Camil. And Piper’s still not sure what she feels.
With a baby on the way, will either of them discover the truth in their hearts, before it’s too late?
A brilliant read. I love this series. Absolutely love Leslie's books. Great story and characters especially Piper and Camil. 5*.

This was a very cute romance. This is the first time I’ve read a book with a sheikh and I found it very enjoyable and it makes me want to try more of the sheikh sub genre of romance. I loved that there a famous love story about his great grandparents

I felt bad for Piper. Camil seems so indifferent to her for a lot of the book. His father seems very disapproving. I would have packed my bags and left. Piper stays and sets out to finish what she came to do even if it means her heart gets broken. Camil's Awakening almost comes to late. I enjoyed reading, Sheikh's Pregnant American.

Highly entertaining and enthralling story about past love and the story of the next generations shenanigans.

"Thank you to Leslie North, the publisher, and NetGalley for an ARC in exchange for an honest review*

This Novella is a cute story about an American woman who travels to Al-Fahr hoping to write a book about Prince Camil's great-grandparents as their love story is iconic. A romance of two people who shouldn't be together but fall in love against the odds.

Piper gets a meeting with Prince Camil hoping she can convince him to let her use the archives of the palace to write her story. While Camil doesn't believe in the legendary story, as he doesn't believe in love at all. Oddly, after he gives her a tour of the palace, they decide to sleep together and never have contact. Two months later, she returns to tell him she is having his baby, in a foreign country, with no family, where she does not speak the language. Something barely discussed is that she will return to her family and friends in the states. Camil is welcome to be involved in the baby's life, if he wishes.

Do they fall in love? You will have to read this sweet, somewhat absurd novella about forbidden love with rich princes and an American girl, that we know nothing about.

Sheikh's Pregnant American (Sheikhs Pact #2) by Leslie North
Publisher: Relay Publishing
Genre: General Fiction (Adult), Romance
Publication Date: October 14, 2021

Sheikh's Pregnant American is the second book in the Sheikhs Pact trilogy by Leslie North. This book is easily read as a standalone romance. Reading the previous book is not required to enjoy this book! There is mention of characters from the first book (and to be featured in the next book), but knowing their backstory is not essential. I should mention that I really enjoyed the first book in the trilogy, Sheikh's False Fiancée, and would recommend reading it because it has a great story!

I really enjoyed reading Sheikh's Pregnant American! The story is captivating! I loved seeing the romance bloom and thought the characters were amazing! I didn't want the story to end! I definitely recommend reading this book!

I'm so grateful to Leslie North, Relay Publishing, and NetGalley for providing me with a free copy of this ARC ebook in exchange for my honest review.

This is Piper and Camil’s story. Piper comes to the palace to ask permission to research his Great grandparents love story. They have a one night stand. She becomes pregnant. Neither one of them was looking for love. There are many twists and turns in their relationship. Until they find the right way to go. I read the book in one sitting. I can’t wait for the next book in the series.
