Wow wow wow! This book was amazing. I loved how it centered around the true-crime podcast. As each new piece of evidence was discovered, the reader was walked through the changes in the case. I enjoy a good procedural book, and this hit it out of the park. The characters were believable. The sorority aspect felt very real. I was in a sorority in college. The closing ranks, members of council demanding everybody do what they say, getting in trouble for going against council's demands, all of that are things that really happen. I feel like the author really did her research to bring us this book. The podcast, Greek life, police procedure, college life-all of it felt so real, and like stuff that actually happened. I would highly recommend this book to anyone! I don't want to give anything away, so I'll just leave with this: read the book!

Sadly I didn't care for this read. It was slow and lacked a cohesiveness in moving smoothly through the chapters and change of characters.
Thank you netgalley and the publisher for this arc

This is not your typical predictable sorority murder mystery. This novel goes above and beyond. I was hooked and could not put this book down. There are so many unexpected twists, you’ll be guessing until the end.

Such a good read! This is the second book I've read of Allison Brennan's and she is quickly becoming a fave! I have been obsessed with campus thrillers / dark academia lately so I was super excited about this one! The Sorority Murder grabbed my attention from the very beginning and kept me guessing about what happened to Candace until the end. Loved the podcast aspect!

Thank you NetGalley and Harlequin Trade Publishing for an eARC of The Sorority Murder in exchange for an honest review. This one comes out on December 28th and I've got to say - thriller lovers, do not hesitate to hit pre-order on this one!

I'm absolutely in love with campus-based/dark academia thrillers and this one hit the mark for me. What happened to Candace three years ago - a sorority girl whose body was discovered two weeks after she went missing? And why is Lucas Vega obsessed with her death? As this book goes on, you find the answers to both of these questions - and so much more.

As his capstone project, Lucas creates a campus podcast to uncover more information about Candace's final hours and murder. The format takes us from the podcast to multiple POVs, unraveling the many truths that were originally not did covered. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is a stand alone mystery and has almost no romance, it is just a good mystery that makes you wonder why people act the way they do. I still had questions at the end of the story, I want to know more about the killers past

It’s been three years since Candace Swain disappeared from a college party. Her body was found not long after, but no one was ever arrested for the murder. Now, Lucas Vega has uncovered new evidence at the medical examiner’s office, but for some reason, the police are not interested in pursuing it. Determined to solve the young woman’s murder, Lucas starts a podcast, hoping to find the answers. His broadcast gets plenty of followers and attracts the attention of former US Marshal, Regan Merritt. Information and tips pour in, giving Regan and Lucas plenty to follow up on, but when one of their tipsters ends up dead, it becomes clear that someone is willing to kill to keep Candace’s murder unsolved
