The start of the new series, Extreme Measures features EMS helicopter pilot, Penny and her crew trying to rescue a sixteen year old girl off a mountaintop during a raging storm. Penny finds herself in danger as a serial killer who has escaped sets his eyes on her. Lots of action and suspense with a few twists makes this book hard to put down. Love the way Penny's team work together along with FBI Agent Holt. Recommended!

This is the first of this series. There are a lot of secondary characters that I figure will be in the next books. This is a very fast paced romantic suspense. Lots of twists and turns and action

Wow! I didn’t want to put this book down! If you like suspense, you will love this story.
There are unexpected twists throughout that will leave you on the edge of your seat!
This is Penny and Holt’s story. Being outsmarted by and chased by a serial killer is enough to frighten anyone.
This storyline is well written with a successful amount of suspense which makes it difficult to guess what will happen next!

If you are looking for a thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat throughout the story, this is the book for you. The harrowing helicopter flight in a storm is just the start of a very suspenseful story. I received a free copy of this ebook from the publisher through Netgalley. This is my honest and voluntarily given review. I love that this story is told from multiple points of view: Penny, Holt, and the serial killer Rabor. The characters pulled me right into the story. EMS helicopter pilot Penny Carlton is not only resourceful but keeps her cool in very stressful situations. I found FBI Special Agent Holt Satterfield very believable as he wrestled with how to tell Penny about his sister while trying to learn more about Penny. At times, I needed to take a breath before continuing the story because of the intense suspense. This is a terrific thriller and I look forward to the next book in this series.

This book is a must read!!! I loved the characters, loved the suspense, loved me the medical aspect, can't say how much I loved this book!

Penny takes on the hard cases as she flies the medical helicopter but finds herself crashed in the mountains with a serial killer on the loose. It seems to just get worse for Penny as the story goes on but she gets to be reacquainted with Holt who is an FBI special agent. I really enjoyed how much he looked out for her throughout the story!

Thanks so much to netgalley and the publisher for the arc. The opinions are my own.

A raging storm and darkness for EMS helicopter pilot Penny Carlton
Boss said she had to, a rescue of a hiking accident, daughter of a
big donor . When the panel on the helicopter became dark, was the
beginning of a nightmare for Penny. A phone was needed, and warmth
from the weather. The plus was meeting FBI Agent Holt Satterfield
a killer was loose in the mountains. It will take the two of them to survive
Fast pace plot, filled with tension to the end. A good beginning to a new series.
Enjoyed and thought well written Given ARC for Net.Galley
and Revell my voluntary review and my honest opinion

Intense, spellbinding, fast-paced. This one kept me turning pages and up late! Great mystery, wonderful characters, romantic suspense at its best!

A high octane race down (and then back up) a mountain. Penny Carlton didn't know there would be an escaped serial killer on the mountain she crash landed her LifeFlight helicopter on. But this is only the beginning of a fugitive hunt that involves the FBI and Penny searching out the clues in this exciting adventure.

There were a lot of twists and turns in this fast paced chase. The back stories of the main characters are very complex and interwoven, at times I would have appreciated more time spent at the beginning of the book telling me about them. I found it a little hard to connect with these secondary characters that suddenly had deep past relationships with the main characters.

All in all, a fun read.

I receive a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Penny Carlton is an EMS helicopter pilot who works with FBI Agent Holt Satterfield to catch a serial killer terrorizing a North Carolina town. This is a fast-paced read – great for a weekend in front of a fireplace. I received an ARC from NetGalley, and the opinions expressed are my own.

Thank you to Revell and Netgalley for the opportunity to read this first book in a new series by Lynette Eason. I have read others by this author and as expected., this book did not disappoint! This is Christian suspense at its best. The characters are real and the story is like watching a full season of NCIS. I will look forward to more featuring the characters from this book to see how their story develops and continues. Highly recommend this book and any by Lynette Eason!

Written for fans of suspense, this novel takes you on a journey to catch a serial killer on the loose. Penny, Holt and their colleagues work to track him down while he keeps making plans for his next victim-Penny-watching and waiting. There’s a lot of action and a second storyline as Holy also tries to figure out what really happened the night his brother-in-law was killed.

The action was a little much at times and I’m not sure she did a lot of justice to the second storyline, but if you enjoy Christian suspense, this will be a good fit!

Penny is a life flight helicopter pilot. Setting down the huge helicopter on a mountaintop in the middle of an icy storm is not ideal but Penny is up for the job. FBI agent Holt is also in the storm. He is hunting an escaped serial killer. His prayer is that Penny and the killer's paths don't cross!

Whew! Such an exciting read! I couldn't put the book down. And yes, I was biting my nails throughout hoping that all would end well. Penny's character is very strong which I really like. She's also smart and able to take care of herself. I did get frustrated with her a couple times when Holt would caution her not to do something and she would plow ahead. There is strong, and then there is foolhardy and a couple of times I thought Penny made some foolish mistakes. Anyway, I loved both of their characters. I liked the relationship that they are building and working on. Both realize there are things they need to share with each other, but developing trust isn't always easy and mistakes are made. Danger seems to be coming at Penny from every turn and it is exciting and harrowing. A great start to a new series and I am definitely looking forward to more.

What a beginning to a new series, and it sure didn't disappoint, from crash landing to gun blasts! You will never know what is around the next corner, and it a good thing you don't.

Penny Carlton, EMS Helicopter pilot, is reunited with FBI Special Agent Holt Satterfield, and not in a way girls like to meet someone they like.

Evil is lurking, and what a job the author does with this story, surprises abound, most I never saw coming. A read that tugs at your heart, makes you want to hide under the bed, and hold your breath as guns, knives flash, and all the while hoping for survival of those we come to care about.

We also have a side story, and again the author kept me guessing!

Now I have to wait for book two in this page turning series!

I received this book through Net Galley and the Publisher Revell, and was not required to give a positive review.

'She was getting really tired of people aiming guns at her.'

Lynette Eason begins a new series with this one and it is incredibly good. Penny and Holt are great primary characters and each also have issues that need to be dealt with, which makes the story even better. They are fighting for their lives from the get-go here and the action rarely lets up for more than a few hours.

Eason has once again crafted very real characters and an awesome plot. She also manages to create a super bad, bad guy. I was on pins and needles on more than one occasion. Eason really knows her stuff when it comes to writing a suspenseful novel.

Skillfully told and populated with good characters, this is one for the keeper shelf for sure.

My thanks to Revell Publishing for a copy of this book via Net Galley. The opinion here is entirely my own.

Suspense-filled from the very beginning! Lynette Eason never disappoints as she delivers another riveting story full of mystery, romance and faith. In her new series Extreme Measures, Penny Carlton, an EMS helicopter pilot, flies accident victims to the hospital. Flying through a fierce storm, she is forced to crash land in a remote area with an escaped serial killer on the loose. FBI agent Holten “Holt” Satterfield, having caught the killer once, is determined to put him back in prison where he belongs. As Holt and Penny race against time to find the killer, this fast-paced story has lots of adrenaline, suspense, and a little romance to make this a page-turner that is hard to put down.

Thanks go out to Revell and Netgalley for the opportunity to read this advanced reader’s copy for my honest review.

I love Lynette’s books and this one did not disappoint. With nonstop action, a serial killer on the loose, a nosy reporter, and a bit of romance it’s perfect.
Holt almost lost his life to a serial killer who’s now escaped from prison. When Penny, the pilot who saved his life ends up on Darius Rabor’s radar the manhunt becomes even more personal.
Penny knows Rabor is dangerous but when she becomes the one he obsesses over, her whole world is turned upside down. The only constant is Holt who refuses to open up to her about his personal life. Can she trust him?
If you love romantic suspense this is the book for you.
I received a copy courtesy of Revell a division of Baker Publishing Group. This is my honest review.

What is better than an attempted life rescue in a helicopter that has to make an emergency landing where a serial killer is loose? That is exactly how Life Flight by Lynette Eason begins her new series. With plenty of action and running from a serial killer, Eason takes her readers for a ride from the first page. She grips their attention and does not let go. I flipped through the pages, wanting to see who the killer was and his motive behind his killings. Eason put plenty of twists and turns in the story. Definitely shows her skills at crafting another nail biting story that I can't wait to put in my library next to all her other books. Of course, this is a romantic suspense novel, so there is romance beating a heartbeat throughout the entire novel. It does not take over the whole plot, but it does allow the heroine and hero to have more of a game in the final climactic moment because of the budding emotions. Overall, Life Flight by Lynette Eason was a keeper in the suspense category for me. I can't wait to pick up the next book in the series.

I received a complimentary copy of Life Flight by Lynette Eason from Revell Publishing, but the opinions stated are all my own.

This book y'all! Such excitement! It's definitely a make you hold your breath deal! I absolutely adored this book! It will be added to my list of favorites.
The characters are awesome as well as the supporting ones too!
I couldn't stand Raber. He made me shiver everytime I came across him.
Eason did a great job with him!
Penny and the whole team were just awesome!
I especially loved Holt and I really appreciated the fact that he had flaws and wasn't perfect.
I found myself rooting for Penny, Holt, Raina, Grace and the rest of the team.
I loved the theme of forgiveness, family, love and hope. No one family is perfect. Sometimes forgiveness is very hard.
I want others to know how much I enjoyed this read and it is very fast paced form page one!
I highly recommend!
