From the first page to the last, this book was non-stop suspense and action. And while this is book three in a series, I never felt lost or that I was missing anything. There is just enough backstory to keep the reader up to date.

Madison and her partner, Jonas, work for the U.S. Marshal's office. Their job is to find things lost or hidden, as Madison often reminds herself throughout the book.

There are three major plot threads running through this story and the author did a great job of giving the right amount of focus to each one. At times, I wondered how she would bring them all together and what relevance they all had to each other. We have Madison who has been trying for the past five years to uncover who murdered her husband. She cannot move on in life and explore the attraction that flares between her and Jonas until she has the answer. She won't put him in jeopardy.

Then we have a judge whose life is threatened by a hard-hitting crime organization, his wife who is now dead, and a mistress, who is the mother of his son, on the run, accused of the wife's murder. Lastly, we have a character in the witness protection program who is found and captured by another top-level crime organization.

As the story unfolds, the author did a fabulous job of bringing everything together. I loved how she let both Madison and Jonas gently unfold their growing feelings for each other while working tirelessly to bring down the bad guys.

This book is sold as Christian Fiction and that is another Kudo I want to give to the author. She wove in subtle references to faith, but nothing that is off-putting. It is a great story from start to finish with a surprise twist at the end that I did not see coming.

I highly recommend this book if you are a fan of high-octane action and suspense mingled with a hint of romance.

I’ve been waiting for this conclusion to Jonas and Madison’s story for a while… and it didn’t disappoint!!

Full of fast-paced action, and answers to all the questions we’ve been asking all series, with plenty of twists and turns along the way. One thing I’ve really enjoyed about this series is that there’s been both a stand alone suspense plot in each novel and an overarching suspense plot that has run through all three.

Well-written, as always, and if you’re a fan of romantic suspense, you’ll enjoy this one! And if you like your suspense to be a little less on the romantic side, you’ll probably still enjoy this, because the romance is extremely slow burn!! (Don’t worry romantic fans, there’s definitely enough romance to keep you satisfied, it does take its time though!!!)

Thanks @revellbooks and @netgalley for the ARC. All opinions are my own, honest thoughts on the book.

Deputy Marshals Madison and Jonas are called in to investigate a breach of security at the courthouse, and find they've stumbled upon something so much bigger.

Continuing the ongoing thread from previous books, while plunging headlong into a brand new twisting trail of deception. Madison and Jonas have come a long way, learning to trust each other through many trials, their shared faith bringing them even closer together. I liked getting to know Ava, as she works to stay one step ahead when it feels like there is nowhere to turn.

A fast paced read with a suspenseful plot that keeps you guessing, bringing the series to an explosive conclusion! Definitely does a great job with strong relationship building, great tension, action, suspense, and tying up loose ends with twists I never saw coming. Highly recommend this excellent series, the only bad part was that I had to wait in between each book for the next one. And now you won't have to anymore!

I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

This book was an AMAZING ending to the series, US Marshals, written by Lisa Harris. She never fails to capture her audience with twists and turns and just when you think you have it all figured out, boom, there is another twist! I love that she is able to keep me in suspense until the very end! She is a wonderful author and I look forward to new books from her in the future!

The Catch by Lisa Harris is the conclusion to the best series I have read by her. Jonas is one of the best book boyfriends. He was the perfect balance of strong, supportive and in love with her.

Madison was a good character but you cannot help but be a little frustrated with her. I mean who would not throw caution to the wind and admit they love Jonas. If you find a guy like Jonas you latch on to him especially when you know he loves you.

They multiple mysteries within Jonas and Madison’s story were well done.
If you have been following the series, Madison finally finds the person who murdered her husband and why. The current mystery is around an attempt of a judge’s life and its quite complicated. The best part of the book for me is that the author was able to surprise me.
PS.
Please dont leave us hanging with Tucker and his back story of the one that got away. Is he getting his own book?!

Follow US Marshalls through two cases simultaneously solved. Although linked but not really. A happenstance of events bring Madison and Jonas through brave but common situations. At least to them. A third and totally unrelated to the first two cases is thrown in for good measure.
I enjoyed this was a fast paced book with glimpses of faith throughout. I found it exciting and not too far fetched.. This was first book by this author but not my last.

I recieved a free copy so that I might tell you what I honestly think. Hope you enjoyed my review. Now go enjoy the book

I received a complimentary copy of the book without obligation. This review is my opinion.

Much like the other books in this series, this moves at warp speed and it will keep you guessing until the end.

I really enjoyed seeing Madison's story continue with the search for her husband's killer and who shot her. She has amnesia about that night when she was shot but she will find out who and why in this book, but even then there are some twists that I didn't see coming. But at least she gets closure on this event and can move forward in her relationship with Jonas. I think this was holding her back from allowing the relationship to blossom.

The action/mystery/suspense aspect kept me guessing and wondering how each piece would unravel to reveal the truth. Not everyone is who you think they are and perhaps those you thought untrustworthy will give you a second chance.

I love the setting of this series. Seattle is a beautiful area and there is so much to do. It is a great spot for those that love the outdoors as we can see in a few scenes as they tromp through various wooded areas, trails, and parks.

This is the last book in this series featuring US Marshals. However, it gave me good insight into what they actually do compared to other government agencies. It is not a light job and there is just as much danger as any other entity.

This is a fantastic trilogy and well worth the read. We give it 5 paws up.

This third book of the "US Marshals" trilogy kept me glued to its pages as federal marshals Madison James and Jonas Quinn search for a missing baby and sitter. The story reveals the truth about the murder of Madison’s husband five years earlier, the series’ major plotline. But will the resolution release the main character from her single-minded mission and allow her to find peace and a new life with Jonas?

I particularly liked Harris’s choice to feature the US Marshal Service in this series. Growing up, a friend of my parents was a marshal, and I always enjoyed his stories and company. And, other than movies like The Fugitive, this law enforcement branch seems infrequently used in the mystery genre, except for minor, minor roles. Of course, that thought sent me down a rabbit hole of research looking for main role books!

Another aspect I enjoyed was that the action traversed the Pacific Northwest. Readers are treated to the area’s broad variety of settings, including the vibrant city of Seattle, forestland, mountains, wilderness, the coast, its water and beaches. The changing venues energized an already exciting story that, once it started, never let up. There was so much unseen danger constantly looming over the characters, not only the two marshals but the missing woman and baby Easton.

The story also incorporated what looked like a simple mistake of communication between two federal agencies. This lapse led to unexpected collateral consequences that truthfully had me wondering how law enforcement can possibly coordinate all the things they do in reality. In this instance in the book, it seemed like their hands would have been tied no matter what.

But "The Catch" is not just a mystery. The book beautifully weaves together a puzzling mystery, heart-thumping suspense as well as a second chance romance. The emerging feelings between Madison and Jonas and their circumstances were heart-aching and, at all times, clean and honest. The series targets the Christian fiction market, and this author’s ability to deftly reveal her characters’ faith-filled lives and thoughts felt natural and genuine. The story warrants a broader audience, and readers who think they are not Christian fiction readers should definitely try this one.

I recommend THE CATCH to fans of the first two books in the trilogy and readers who enjoy exciting, suspense-filled mysteries with a clean and poignant underlying romance.

About this book:

“After a harrowing attempt on a judge's life at the courthouse, Deputy US Marshals Madison James and Jonas Quinn are tasked with finding a missing woman and an endangered child in connection to the murder of the judge's wife. What seems like a fairly straightforward case becomes hopelessly tangled when the marshals discover that the woman they are searching for is in witness protection and the Amber Alert put out for the missing child has put two lives in danger.
Madison and Jonas are forced into a race to find the woman and the child before the men who want her dead discover her location. And in a final showdown that could cost her everything, Madison will come face-to-face with the person who murdered her husband.”

{ This book does mention affairs and murders, and while it is overall very clean for these topics, it may be best for older girls.}

This was a pretty satisfying ending to the “US Marshals” trilogy. The mystery of who murdered Madison’s husband and is stalking her has been in the prior two books and I was excited to read and see what would happen in this final book.

I really like the pacing of this one; There’s a lot happening but unlike other suspense books I’ve read, everything is not “coincidentally” connected. There were multiple things happening but they didn’t all add up to the same big picture. Which really worked well because we see a couple extra POVs that sometimes give the reader a bit more information than Madison or Jonas has and I enjoyed that element. It kept you on your toes as you were reading.

Also, I liked Jonas a lot in this book. He cared for Madison a lot but respected her space and listened to her. While he might have rescued her a couple times, she rescued him as well so she wasn’t a damsel in distress at all—which is very fitting because she’s good at her job. The romance element was super light in this novel and just in the whole trilogy in general.

This may be my new favorite series by Lisa Harris and, as always, I’ll be watching for news about her next suspense books.

This is book thee in the US Marshals series, I do feel like you could read it as a stand alone, however you would probably be a little lost. This series is one that really needs to be read in order (they are all good reads, by the way) If you don't like cliff hanger books now is the time to start this series as you can move right into the next book. This author does a great Job developing her characters and keeps you engaged and interested in the story line. I fell in love with Deputy US Marshals Madison James and Jonas Quinn in book one and love reconnecting with them. This series would make a great movie or mini series on TV.

I always look forward to reading books by Lisa Harris. I was given a copy of this book for my honest opinion.

The Catch is the third and final book in the US Marshals series. Lisa Harris has given us an epic ending to a fantastic series! And, wow! This is a good one.
Deputy US Marshals, Madison James and Jonas Quinn are back for another case. This time they're searching for a missing woman and baby, but this case may end up being more complicated than it first seemed. And, Madison's memories of the woman who killed her husband may not have returned--but his murderer has. The stakes are high, and Madison and Jonas will have to work hard and fast to make sure everyone makes it out alive.

I've loved this series, and have been rooting for Madison and Jonas the entire time. I was so excited to finally see the conclusion to their story. As always, the plot line stayed realistic, while still full of intense twists and turns that kept me on the edge of my seat until the very last page. I've seen some reviews that suggest The Catch could be read as a standalone, however, I felt like the backstory was important and would definitely recommend reading the series order.

The Catch easily gets 5/5 stars from me. If you enjoy romantic suspense, you won't want to miss this series.

*I received a complimentary copy of The Catch through the publisher and NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own. My positive review is not required.

When an attempt is made on a judge's life during a high profile case and the judge's wife is found murdered, Deputy US Marshals Madison James and Jonas Quinn are put on the case. They find themselves searching for a missing woman and a small child only to discover that the Amber Alert they put out has drawn unwanted attention and endangered those they seek.

We were excited to read a new suspense story and take a break from historical fiction for a moment. The first chapter started out with an intriguing hook that peaked our interest. However, Harris' 3rd book in her US Marshals Series didn't deliver the thrill we were hoping. The book contains multiple story lines that compete for attention. You can feel the exhaustion of the main character as the story progresses, and we felt that as readers, also. The twists and turns didn't provide the complexity or depth that we have come to expect from other Christian suspense novels. The first two books in Harris' series featured the same couple but their relationship seemed drawn out and still unresolved at the end of The Catch.

We received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher exchange for our honest review.

This is a Christian Romantic Suspense, and this is the third book in the US Marshals series. I have not read the first two books in this series, but I do not think that took anything away from my reading experience. I was pulled into this book super fast and I did not want to put it down. I loved the characters in this book, and I loved the case that is going on in this book. The suspense is very great in this book. The romantic was not the best, and it was just two people that as feelings for each other. Overall, I really enjoyed reading this book. I loved all the action in this book. There was a lot going on in this book, but it was easy to follow all the stuff going on. I was kindly provided an e-copy of this book by the publisher (Flemming H. Revell Company) or author (Lisa Harris) via NetGalley, so I can give an honest review about how I feel about this book. I want to send a big Thank you to them for that.

This is an insanely good book, packed with thrills, chills, and all the good stuff you look for in a great suspense read!
This is my first time reading one of Lisa Harris's books, but I'm hooked to read the rest of her collections now! It's completely clean, and it's also based on the United States Marshals agency which I actually hadn't read any about. Filled with realistic, funny and hardworking lawmen and women, this lovely book is a must to add to your to-be-read pile!
I received a paperback copy free from the publisher, courtesy of Interviews and Reviews for my review. Also, thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for a free e-book copy! The thoughts and opinions above are my own, and I was not required to give a positive review.

Author Lisa Harris skillfully weaves the different threads of The Catch together into one explosive romantic suspense novel. The main characters are easy to like and sympathize with. The slow burn romance between Jonas and Madison is touching. Their faith flows into the story naturally. The plot moves quickly and has enough twists and turns to satisfy those who like their stories to be like the scariest rollercoaster rides. This book is the kind that you won't want to put down until it's finished. I highly recommend The Catch and would definitely read more works by this author.
I received a complimentary copy through NetGalley and am sharing my opinion of this well-written book in the US Marshals series.

The Catch by Lisa Harris is the third in the US Marshals series. The entire series is fantastic, and I recommend starting with book one. The Catch is intense and fast paced. Deputy US Marshals Madison James and Jonas Quinn team up again, this time to find a missing woman and an endangered child. But the case isn’t straightforward, and they find themselves on another manhunt. Madison also deals with the aftermath of finding out who murdered her husband, as well as understanding her increasing attraction to Jonas.

This book is exciting and chock full of plot twists. The Catch puts readers in the center of the action. But this story gives a lot of closure. Madison is finally able to learn the truth about her husband’s murder, and readers will love seeing the conclusion of the will they/won’t they get together relationship of Madison and Jonas. I highly recommend this series for fans of action, suspense and a little bit of a sweet romance.

I received an ebook review copy of this book through Revell and NetGalley. All opinions expressed in this review are my own.

Lisa Harris finished off her US Marshals series with a bang. I am rating The Catch five stars for the intensity with which it kept me glued to the edge of my seat. This book has numerous plot twists within its three interwoven investigative storylines. Lisa Harris is a gifted suspense writer who creates characters with a depth of character and faith. Her plots are original and realistic. While The Catch would work well as a stand-alone read, it will be enjoyed even more by those who read the series in order. I am recommending this series to my husband, as I believe he will enjoy the level of action included.

I am grateful to have received a complimentary copy of The Catch from Revell via NetGalley without obligation. All opinions expressed here are my own.

4.5
What an exciting conclusion to the US Marshals series! I've been waiting for The Catch to come out ever since I binge-read The Escape and The Chase. This is a heart-pounding, page-turning series that you don't want to miss. I highly recommend reading this series in order, as the underlying story carries through all three books with fast-paced action and suspense along the way. (Although I just read someone's review that had not read books 1 and 2 and did not feel that took away from this exciting story.)

The Catch starts right out with a mistress, a murder, kidnapping, witness-protection, suspense, and romance in this fast-paced chase. US Marshals Madison James and Jonas Quinn are back to figure out who killed a judge's wife, to find a missing woman and a kidnapped child.

Lisa Harris is one of my favorite romantic suspense authors, and I look forward to each new story she writes. There are many layers to this story, a developing relationship between Madison and Jonas continues from the earlier stories in the series. And Madison is still trying to find out who killed her husband five years ago and she is trying to work through her mind not remembering who shot her last year (these remained unsolved in books 1 and 2). It has been difficult for Madison, she is seeking closure and safety from the murderer who is still stalking her, before she is able to heal and move on with her life. I really enjoyed this satisfying conclusion! I highly recommend The Catch.

Thank you to the author, and publisher (Revell) for allowing me to read an early copy. All opinions are my own.

"The Catch" is a Christian romantic suspense novel. This is the third book in a series and continues the story of US Marshals Madison and Jonas, but you can understand what's going on without reading the previous books. However, this book wrapped up some ongoing events from the previous books (like the mystery of who killed Madison's husband), so it'd be more satisfying to read the books in order.

The main characters reacted realistically to events. Madison continued to struggle with the uncertainty of who shot her and the insecurity that created. Madison and Jonas worked together to find the missing baby and his babysitter before the bad guys. They followed up on the clues to find the missing child and uncover the truth about the murders. They worked well together and trusted the other's skills and instincts. The high level of suspense came from trying to find the targets before the bad guys and the dangers of the job.

Madison and the babysitter talked about how one can trust God when it seems like everything is going wrong and when loved ones died. There was no sex or bad language. Overall, I recommend this exciting suspense novel.
