I picked up this book because of the genre, I've heard good things about the author, and, hello, U.S. Marshalls? It took me a chapter to realize I had a lot of catching up to do on the main character's story. If you've read the other 2 in this series, The Catch will be a satisfying conclusion that braids multiple mysteries to pull Madison and Jonas to the breaking point--and not necessarily together. But if this is the first you've read in the series you may feel like you're sitting down in the middle of a movie. While some book series can be enjoyed in any order, this series really needs to be read starting with book 1 or you miss a lot of the context.

A woman and her baby are on the run after the death of the wife of the woman's lover (the first chapter is excellent in establishing this woman's character and sympathies). Madison and Jonas need to find her before someone else does--someone who isn't as interested in if this woman stays alive.

For those who enjoy books heavy on suspense and light on the romance, Lisa Harris is a good choice. Her series also has a less common element of keeping the same main character throughout, which gives time to see some beautiful character arcs and relationship building.

This series was really great! I loved each and every book and The Catch was a perfect conclusion to the US. Marshals series! This story was engaging and I was really invested in seeing how everything came together in the end! There were plenty of twists and turns in this plot to hold my interest and I was hooked until the conclusion! I loved getting answers to the continued thread of who was behind Luke’s shooting and the end was really intense! While there wasn’t much romance in these books, I didn’t really mind how little there was because it felt genuine. I really enjoyed this series more than I have enjoyed a suspense series in a long while! Lisa Harris never disappoints with her suspense series and I cannot wait to see what comes next!

This is the final book in the US Marshall series. It is great to have all the answers to the questions that have built up over the course of the series. I would recommend reading this in series order. You probably could read it without the rest of the series, but I think that it is better read in the series order so that the side plot points make better sense.

I really liked the action and the twists that make up the journey that this book takes us on. I like the growth that the main character has to go through to get the end. It's nice that this was drawn over three books rather than her issues being easy solved.

I got this book in exchange for a free review. I recommend reading this and it's predecessors. This is one I'm ordering for my library system.

The conclusion of the US Marshall series proves to be an action packed read with a few twists. Madison and Jonas set out to find a missing woman and baby who is quite clever about hiding. Things become dicey when it becomes clear that others are out searching for them also. Hiding out and running through the forest with a six week old baby seemed a little far fetched to me. The judge, his wife and mistress was quite the tale. It will be hard far readers not to feel a little empathy for the mistress. Finding out who murdered Madison's husband is a running theme throughout. Three different plots within this story will keep readers on their toes. Great series!

I have been waiting for the conclusion to this series! Lisa Harris has done a fine job with her US Marshals series. We finally find out who has killed Madison's husband and wounded her, but Harris takes us on a roundabout trail with a surprise catch at the end.

Well done characters and two plots in one make this one a great inspirational suspense read. I was not disappointed. And there is a secondary character here that I think (hope) just might have his own story some day.

My thanks to Revell Publishing for a copy of this book via Net Galley. The opinion here is my own.

The Catch by Lisa Harris develops three mysteries in one novel. With a quick run for their lives, someone accused of murder, and someone else trying to figure out a crime that took her husband, there is plenty of action firing across the pages of the story. The heroine, Madison, has been the same heroine for all three novels in this series, which I really liked. It gave Harris plenty of time to dive deep into character and find what motivates her. Also, the romance between her and Jonas had plenty of time to spark and wonder if anything was going to develop. As for the plot, as I mentioned before, there was three mysteries to untangle. Harris crafted the novel where Madison would focus on one aspect of one of the novels, then the next one would rear its ugly head and take her away from the first mystery. The moved along quickly, but did allow some downtime for the characters as they rushed from keeping their victims lives safe. Overall, The Catch featured a satisfying conclusion to the mystery in this page, and readers will be happy to see the overall mystery that featured Madison is finally brought to life. I can't wait to see what Harris will craft next.

I received a complimentary copy of The Catch by Lisa Harris from Revell Publishing, but the opinions stated are all my own.

The Catch is a nonstop, action packed thriller with so much going on I couldn’t keep up—in a good way. With more than one mystery to solve and lives on the line I was up until the last page.
Jonas has just returned from training and is looking for some downtime with Madison to feel out their relationship. Too bad they’re thrown into a case before they get the chance.
A judge’s wife has been murdered but the suspect isn’t what they expect. She’s the mother of a baby who’s disappeared and her story doesn’t fit the evidence.
In the midst of all the excitement Madison’s shooter—her husband’s killer—is still on the loose and taunting her at every turn. With so much at stake will she trust God enough to allow Him to heal her heart and take a new chance at love?
I loved this book and highly recommend it.
I was given a copy courtesy of Revell a division of Baker Publishing Group through Interviews and Reviews via NetGalley. This is my honest review.
