A good basic cookbook to change up how you prepare your eggs. Easy to read and follow the instructions without any issues.

Not only is this cookbook beautiful to look at, but also a very useful staple to have in your cookbook collection. With the opening photos and text, you get the sense that Lisa Steele knows farm to table and knows eggs. There's a reason that culinary schools judge students on how they prepare eggs --they can be intimidating. This book has given me more confidence as a home cook, expanding my knowledge of egg preparation. The preparation methods are clear and explained well with photos too. Once you get the foundational skills down, it's fun to explore her other recipes too. As someone who likes to read cookbooks cover-to-cover, this is a great one to sit down with.

This is such a great cookbook! Not only for those of us who love eggs, it is so well-rounded and a great resource for basics. Perfect for someone moving into their own place for the first time or a wedding gift. Looking forward to cooking my way through it.

I LOVE breakfast and eggs in general. This cookbook is perfect for me and anyone who loves eggs. I thought it was just going to be breakfast recipes but it has everything from Bernaise sauce, cocktails, breakfast to dessert and everything in between. It has beautiful pictures and easy to follow recipes with clear instructions that don’t require crazy ingredients.

I liked in the beginning the author tells her background and experience raising chickens and eggs. There is also a helpful buyers guide for us egg lovers about what the terms “cage free”, “organic,” etc mean when buying eggs in the store.

This is such a nice cookbook I’d definitely buy a copy for myself or to give as a gift fir a fellow egg lover.

The book begins with a guide to selecting eggs and basic cooking methods, followed by many mostly-American homestyle recipes, lovely photos included. I was expecting the cookbook to focus solely on egg-centric dishes, but there are a lot of egg-containing mouth-watering baked goodies, too. I will recommend this cookbook to my library patrons,

Loved the recipes! Eggs are a quick and easy to make meal, but can get a bit boring. The recipes were all very different and very interesting, definitely going to use this book in the future!

This book is a great resource for all things egg! I love the history at the beginning of the book, and I thought the variety of tips throughout the book were very helpful. I also found the cooking tips and tools to be helpful--it can be more difficult than you think to cook a great egg!
Lots of recipes were included and I have enjoyed the variety of recipes available. I've found it easy to modify the recipes as I see fit to meet my own tastes.
Great cookbook!

I'm always looking for cookbooks that help me to come up with easy meals I can make for my family. This one was a great inspiration for our daily dinners, and I was glad I had the chance to try so many of these recipes.

What a delight of a cookbook! I for one love eggs, they are one of my favorite quick and easy foods, and the breadth of preparations found within 'The Fresh Eggs Daily Cookbook' was inspiring. I was blown away on all the different ways you can preserve (freeze, pickle, and more!) and cook eggs. If you have chickens or love eggs...this book is for you. I really learned a lot from it.

This is a comprehensive, friendly, and fun cookbook extolling the virtues of fresh eggs (you can, of course, use store-bought eggs if you don't have fresh, but I understand her POV on fresh). The recipes all sound great, and I love that the basics are covered, like how to scramble eggs, fry them, soft-cook and hard-cook them, etc. (basted eggs FTW!). There's all kinds of helpful tips and tricks throughout, and Steele's conversational tone makes it feel like you're learning from a friend. This may seem like a specialty cookbook you wouldn't use much, but look through it and you'll see it's actually one you'd use quite a bit. Definitely worth adding to anyone's cookbook shelf!

After requesting this book life got busy so I never got a chance to make them. Figured it's been awhile so I should review from what I saw. Absolutely love the introduction with the photos in addition to all the photos throughout. The recipes look amazing but my kids aren't loving eggs right now and I'm stretched thin. That said definitely keeping this book in mind in the future when I want to go into egg-related dishes some more as this looked great.

This is so much more than just a recipe book for eggs. There is such a wealth of knowledge as to the different typed of eggs, how to cook them, store them even including freezing them. I learned so much from the first part of this book and was totally ready to put the knowledge into action making the wide variety of recipes. Simple to follow and tasty recipes.

The Fresh Eggs Daily Cookbook by Lisa Steele was a really great surprise to look at all the many ways to cook eggs. Along with the humor that came through this was just a joy cookbook. I do recommend this book.

As a lover of eggs, I personally found this cookbook very informative and I can’t wait to try out these recipes. The book had a lot of recipe to experiment with eggs and how to cook eggs to perfection.
