I enjoyed the storyline of incorporating a pet contest that centered around Halloween. I felt the story was slow at times and there was a reach for our heroine to involve herself in the mystery. While I normally enjoy this series, I found the indiscriminate use of exclamation marks to be annoying.

Love this series! Fast paced with plenty of red herrings to keep you guessing. Fun characters. Cassie is a believable character that draws the reader in. Really enjoyed this book.
