A stunning book with 25 awe inspiring stories of women from around the globe on how they overcame barriers and the closed minds of others to make their own environmental impact. Rebel Girls; Climate Warriors will encourage and inspire young minds to think on how they can join them in making a stand.

Easy to read and beautifully designed the climate warriors are introduced in an easy to read format, basic facts, wonderful illustrated image and quote.
The colour scheme of this book is calming and the graphics and fonts will appeal to a younger audience. I love that Rebel Girls has used QR codes to add extra information and further learning opportunities.

With varied illustrations throughout the book young artists will be inspired by the different techniques used. All illustrations have the artists name lending to easy reference for anyone inspired.

The end of the book has a fantastic addition where you can add your own illustration and life story and become the 26th Climate Warrior.
The book ends with some tips on how to start and how to have a more green focus in our lives.

Rebel Girls has done a fantastic job with this addition to the collection. My children particularly enjoyed listening to me read about Autumn Peltier as we haven't long finished her Rebel Girls podcast episode.

I was gifted a Digital copy of Rebel Girls; Climate Warriors in exchange for a fair and honest review.

This caught my attention as a science communicator. I've struggled in the past with how to beat convey issues relating to climate change. It's a terrifying topic that can easily cause my audience to shut down.

The first thing I loved about this book was how simple it was. It didn't even get into "climate change" but instead all these way individuals helped and are helping the environment.

It's broken down into one page stories, half the page is an illustration while the other half is dedicated to the story. In a few paragraphs it encapsulates different approaches to protecting the environment.

While I loved the simplicity of it, there was still a bit to be desired. The narrative represents each story as if it's a fairy tale or felt like one to me. This is NOT a fairy tale but instead reality. That language might be a little dangerous overall.

My other main complaint is the lack of information. A bit more context would be nice. This strikes me as a book I'd have lying around, available for anyone to be interested in it then I'd use it as a spring board into research. You saw a topic here that interests you? Why? Let's look into it and explore different threads I'd information.

A beautiful and necessary book, easy to understand and straight to the point but with enough facts and informations for kids to learn about amazing women, I also really appreciated the diversity of women presented in this book.

The book follows the format of the others of a brief description and then a picture of the person it is referring to in illustration form. This time it focuses on those who have featured on the news and other mediums, but that's not to say that whatever you do, however big and small doesn't count, it does. This is often where these books fall down slightly. In saying that, the book ends with a small and useful bit (although by no means exhaustive list) about what people can feasibly do to help.

The people who are chosen have been chosen well because it isn't always the most obvious people like Greta Thunberg or water activists etc, there are people from places you may not expect, who have shown care for the environment, such as people from politics and journalism and authors too. It is these people that make this book stand out more than it otherwise perhaps would, just because it is perhaps not what you think of first.

The information provided is short and to the point, covering a bit about what they do, who they are and their care about the environment and climate change and will capture the imagination of children and is a good talking point. The layout and tone as ever is well-pitched for the age group most likely to read this ever-growing series.

A great dive into powerful women in history for middle readers! I’m hopeful my kids will learn about examples of women making waves in history in order to inspire them to make change and to encourage them to fight for equality.

The Rebel Girls books have always hit the spot for me and this one does exactly the same. I can imagine young people absolutely loving the tenacity of these women in fighting for what's right - sometimes even their lives! The illustrations as always are so adorable - as someone who is horrible at art but loves scicomm, these always make me jealous, but so proud!

I honestly did not even know about so many of these incredible women and it's such a shame knowing that we do not celebrate them! I'm glad the next generation of fighters will have role models and path blazers to look upto!

Another great Rebel Girls book - I have daughters aged 10 and 13 and they both love reading about the initiatives and accomplishments of women. This is a great series of books to showcase the influence of women on the world.

Rebel Girls has made a name for itself by creating bright, colourful books which highlight the accomplishments or marginalized individuals who have made an impact on our world. While the stories of these amazing people don’t go into a lot of detail, they are a great way to introduce children to an array of greatness. I was a fan of the very first book they produced, Rebel Girls, and have read the others with my children. Rebel Girls Climate Warriors is a timely book highlighting the accomplishments of environmental allies across the globe.

As a mum to two young daughters I jump at the chance to bring another Rebel girls book into our home. This book focuses on those women who have fought for our planet or who are continuing to do so now. Most, despite a list of amazing achievements, I have never heard about until today.

I was surprised at my own emotional reaction as I read this with my daughters, fear at what may happen if we don’t start to take more responsibility for our environment, guilt over the years spent making bad choices and an overwhelming sense of pride and amazement at these powerful climate leaders. I enjoyed learning about the women and their work.

My daughters’ reaction was so different to mine, both of them inspired and reminded of the importance of following our passions and letting them form a path towards our own future.

The way that this book was written meant that my daughters were able to embrace the need for climate changes without feeling afraid or overwhelmed. Listening to the stories of such a diverse range of women and hearing all the little actions that a new advocate could take.

The artwork from a range of different illustrators was just stunning breaking up the text nicely as we spent some time with each woman.

This installment of rebel girls is such a perfect gift to evoke critical conversations and encourage deeper thinking about the impacts we are having on our planet.

Thank you NetGalley and Rebel Girls for the ARC.

Climate Actvists, Zoologists, Authors, Conservationists and more - Rebel Girls once again teach young girls that they can be anything, as long as they follow their passions!

The diversity of ages, nationalities, races and experiences makes Climate Warriors a solid edition to the Rebel Girls series.

This book tackles Climate Change in a way that will not scare off young readers, but instead give them the knowledge that they can become empowered leaders.

The interactive activities at the bag, such as sharing your story and 'draw your portrait' are fun engaging activities, along with nature inspired activities and small habit changes to make massive impacts - Truthfully, I feel this section has an equally as big an impact on young readers as the stories of empowered women, as it makes the reader feel involved, empowered and could possibly create habits which last life long!

The QR codes allowing further interaction, bringing certain women's stories into the digital space is always fun - and unlocks audio stories, too!

An all-round must have for young readers and schools; creating change and creating thought leaders.

Thank you, Rebel Girls & NetGalley for the Review E-copy of this book.

I *love* "Rebel Girls" books, and when I saw one about climate change, I really needed to read it. As we all know, it is a very important issue today, so I wanted to read it. And I'm glad I did! I think that children (and their parents!) should read it in school. I found it very inspiring.

I have made wreaths before. My mom was a huge wreath maker, and I have followed in those footsteps. A couple of years ago, I was with my family at a creek and found a length of vine that I twisted and made into a wreath. Thinking I was really doing something, I added fresh flowers. DON'T DO THAT. DON'T HAVE FRESH FLOWERS ON YOUR WREATH ON YOUR FRONT DOOR. YOU KNOW WHAT LIKES FRESH FLOWERS? BEES. It was a rude awakening and I quickly switched to faux flowers, but I didn't like the look. I wanted to learn how to make more wreaths across the seasons and since I like foraging, I thought this would be a helpful book, and I was right! If you're interesting in making your own wreath (and why wouldn't you be?? They are so fun!), this book is for you.

Big fan of this series and Climate Warriors did not disappoint. I love that this book includes a range of past and present, ages, backgrounds and nationalities. I also appreciate the variety of what people are doing. This book isn't focused on just people saving the trees (also important) but incorporated lesser thought of fights against climate change. The illustrations were beautiful and I love that they're by different artists and therefore different styles. The extra resources in the back compliment the book so well and are great for further learning.

My daughter absolutely loved this book. Illustrated exactly the same as the other Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls series, Climate Warriors was highlighted people we already knew like Greta Thunberg, and those we are now aware of like Esohe Ozigbo, Wangari Maathai and Autumn Peltier.

This is a great entry to this series. Like previous entries it has a great range of women and great information on them. This entry has added in scattered QR codes in order to find more information the different individuals. The main topic of this book is very important in this day and age. I would highly recommend this entry.

I would like to thank Rebel Girls for providing me with an ARC.
