I have to admit that I was (and still am) in two frames of mind about this book, one hand I thought; it's OK and the other I thought; hmmm not sure, so I have settled with sitting somewhere in the middle.
It's not that it's not a cute and enjoyable book, but I found that it was so slow in pace that I felt myself outwardly yawning wondering if or when it would pick up the pace, and yet the actual story is heart-warming and lovely, and I instantly felt a connection with Leah with her absolute love and devotion to her grandfather, I wasn't particularly close to my own grandfather and he passed away before I could get to know him due to family rifts but I am always drawn to stories which have the relationship between grandchildren and grandparents as the focus very interesting which is why I chose to pick this book up.
I would recommend it, I think other readers ay enjoy it more than I did, I just think that this one was for me, which is a shame as I really wanted to love it.

This was a fun read with likeable characters and a cute storyline. If you like happy endings (spoiler alert), then add this to your TBR pile!

This was not the cosy romance I was expecting, this was pure laugh out loud rom com.
The storyline was good the characters fantastic and although I loved the main two characters Joey really stole the show for me.
Can't wait to read the next book
Thank you netgalley
