Amelia Stone is not having a great day. She's moving in with a woman she just met, Veronica, and Veronica isn't even in town to help her move. That's okay, she'll make it work. Until a dump truck hits her moving rental and Amelia ends up in the hospital with all number of injuries. Sure, the EMT is cute but her whole world is now upside down.
Finn Douglas was burned by love, spent a lot of time playing the field, and now is just sort of stagnant. Her EMT partner teases her pretty incessantly. Especially after Finn seems so smitten with Amelia. And then Finn takes charge of Amelia's cat. When she tries to return the cat, Finn meets Amelia's grandmother and they immediately strike up a friendship. Amelia notices this especially since it is in such contrast to how Veronica and her grandmother interact. Eventually, Amelia realizes that Veronica isn't the woman for her but Finn is leery of being a rebound.
This is a fun love story though there is a lot of drama at the end that wasn't necessarily needed and the relationship does move fairly quickly.

Who doesn’t like a U-Haul joke! I really enjoyed reading this book. This is the second book in the “A Mile High City Romance” series, by Rey and Clevenger and once again they show how compatible their writing is. It is also great to see that this is not only a collaboration between writers, but also between publishers. This story runs in parallel with the first book “A Convenient Arrangement”. Personally, I liked “Love, Accidentally” a little better, but both are well written.

Back to the U-Haul. When Amelia decides to move in with her girlfriend of six weeks and crashes her U-Haul truck, she quickly discovers that she may have made a mistake deciding to move in so quick. What’s more, the paramedic (Finn) that came to the rescue on the U-Haul crash site appears to be much more the partner she wanted all along.
Their insecurities felt very real. Amelia rather quickly realizes that her current girlfriend is a complete mismatch, but this experience stops her from rushing into a relationship with Finn, no matter how perfect she may be. It’s hard not to like Finn, she’s friendly and caring, but she has some choices of her own to make. I enjoyed how they both reevaluate what they want from life.

Some of the best parts of the book are the antics of Amelia’s nana. She strikes up a friendship with Finn and is set on “helping” Finn and Amelia see the light. She’s funny and a force to be reckoned with. Furthermore, in the first book I complained a bit about the fade to black sex scenes. These authors write good chemistry and I wanted this to have some follow-up. This book restored my faith in them writing some spicy scenes.

All in all, this is a happy feelgood book, which I easily recommend. I hope Clevenger and Rey will write a book together again in the future.

This is the accompanying instalment of A Convenient Arrangement in the Mile High City Romance series. I say accompanying because the events in this book take place around the exact same time.

Once again we need to give credit to Bella and BSB for letting the authors cooperate on this series and splitting the books between the two publisher. I feel like Bella did get the better book with this one.

Lesbians U-Haul around the second date, or say goes the saying. Amelia is driving the U-Haul to her girlfriend’s place when a dump track drive into her. She needs to be extracted from the vehicle and Finn is the paramedic on the scene. Finn finds Amelia’s ramblings adorable and can’t help but be interested and invested in her. Amelia has a girlfriend, Victoria. We hear more about her than we see of her, even after a pretty serious accident, that should tell you enough about this character.
Finn is pretty much perfect, supportive, good looking, helpful and with her head on straight. Both women are fighting their attraction and connection, mostly because Amelia can’t get out of their way.

A lot of the times when there is a character like Finn, who is pretty much perfect they annoy me. Somehow Rey and Clevenger were able to write this character in a way that just has me going oooh that’s cute and sweet. Now why I find this book better than the other one, for one it’s the characters and secondly I like how they get together. I like how Finn bonds with Edith (Amelia’s grandma), how supportive she is and I like Amelia’s ramblings, I even like her getting in her own way. Oh and mostly there aren’t any annoying secondary characters as there were in A Convenient Arrangement. Both books have there strengths and overal I think the authors did an amazing job on this series. Where I sometimes struggle with books written by them individually, these co-authored ones hit the right spot.
Solid 4 star read.

Love, Accidentally is a part of the Mile High City Romance series.  A collaboration between Jamie Clevenger and Aurora Rey. The main characters in this one, Finn and Amelia are featured in a much lesser capacity in A Convenient Arrangement, which is the story of Jess and Cody.

Amelia Stone is moving in with her girlfriend, Veronica, after only six weeks of dating. On move in day Veronica is in New York because it's more important to network with Amelia's mother than to help her girlfriend move. While driving the UHaul, Amelia is hit by a dump truck. Paramedic Finn Douglas arrives on the scene and gets Amelia and her cat out safely.

Finn finds Amelia adorable as she's telling her how cute she is and how if she didn't have Veronica she would totally date her.  Finn visits her in the hospital where she encounters Amelia's Nana. Nana promptly invites Finn to dinner as a thank you for caring for her granddaughter and taking the cat to the vet. Nana is not on team Veronica but instantly like Finn and recognizes the mutual attraction between her daughter and the kind paramedic.

Amelia definitely should not be thinking about Finn but after she gives her a ride home from the hospital and shares dinner with her and her Nana, it's impossible for her not to have thoughts. She begins to see how much different Finn is from Veronica. Where Veronica is pretentious and self absorbed, Finn is thoughtful and generous. She visits hospice patients on her off days and Nana decides she's going to make pot brownies for the patients that Finn can deliver. It's not just to be nice, it's Nana's way to keep Finn coming back so that Amelia will eventually realize who she should be dating.

I really love these two characters. Finn is pretty much perfect. She's there for Amelia more than her girlfriend, even when they don't know each other. She is weary of relationships because she was cheated on by her girlfriend, who she thought she would marry.  She may not be looking for a relationship but she wants Amelia, she just doesn't want to be her rebound. Finn also adores Edith, Amelia's Nana, almost as much as she adores Amelia and that alone does it for me. It doesn't hurt that Finn is also a hot butch with a great bod and an absolute heart of gold. So, yeah, I'm in love with Finn!

When we first meet Amelia she has some issues she needs to address. Like why she's moving in with a woman she hardly knows who is a lot like her self absorbed mother. Amelia's mom is a former soap star turned roundtable women's talk show host. She's never been there for Amelia. Her Nana has been the constant source of love in her life. Nana is quick to point out that Amelia is rushing into moving in with Veronica but Amelia isn't having any of it. Luckily, a dump truck, dumps her plans of a future that would have ended in heartbreak and is responsible for delivering a yummy paramedic to her rescue. It takes Amelia a while to get out of her own way but she gets there eventually.

I hope we get more collaborations from Aurora Rey and Jamie Clevenger. The characters were charming, Nana was an absolute rock star and made me think of my own Gram, who always thought I could do no wrong, even when presented with evidence to the contrary. This is a light-hearted read that I highly recommend. It will bring a smile to your face.

Even though this book is part of a series, I found that I can read it as a stand-alone, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It is a very light (not very much push/pull anxiety), fun read and I found the MC to be very believable. Also this is a dual author story and I loved that the writing style of both authors flowed wonderfully.

Amelia and Finn, which showed up just a bit in the first book of the series (but again can be a stand-alone), are the main characters in this story-line. The dialog is fun to read, and their humor had me chuckling throughout the story. This book is a great take on that joke, what do lesbians bring to their 2nd date....a u-haul...smile. Also there is great chemistry between Amelia and Finn, some pretty hot scenes (that I am a sucker for).

All in all, a great read, I loved that these 2 authors are great a writing cohabitation, I look forward to this series continuing and possibly more series from these 2 authors together.

I received an ARC through Netgalley in exchange for an honest review, but would have written the same opinion if I had come across this author on my own.

Amelia is in a serious accident while driving to her girlfriend Veronica where paramedic Finn is there to help her. Amelia has her life plan with Veronica but she can’t help being attractive to Finn who never really wanted to be in a relationship but finds herself drawn to Amelia.

Amelia and Finn grow closer I like the fact this wasn’t a unfaithful story both MCs take their time with each other despite not sometimes communicate well. I like we got a glimpse of Jess and Cody my favorite character was Amelia Nana she hilarious and she made the story more enjoyable.

Kudos to the authors for delivering two books, in a contemporanous timeline, and releasing them less than a month apart. This is part of A Mile High City Romance series and the other book is A Convenient Arrangement (which I gave 5 stars). I actually went back and scanned through the first book to see how often the two MC's in this book are featured.

Amelia Stone works for the city, and sounding like a lesbian joke, is u-hauling her things to her new girlfriend's apartment when she is in a traffic accident. First on the scene is paramedic Finn Douglas. And surprisingly Finn is more concerned about Amelia than her out of town girlfriend. Finn takes care of her cat and visits her in the hospital. She even accepts a thank you dinner invite from Amelia's grandmother and starts a friendship there. There is instant attraction but Amelia must first deal with her current relationship and Finn doesn't want to be the rebound person.

This is fun, light on the angst, big on the attraction sizzle. And the authors manage to do it without having Amelia be unfaithful. I ranked the first book slightly higher only because I got frustrated with the miscommunication between the two especially as talking is one of the things they do well. But that is just storyline preference. Part of me would have enjoyed some comeuppance for Veronica, but she isn't a villain. These are the kind of romances I truly enjoy. They leave me smiling and happy. Thank you NetGalley and Bella Books for an eARC in exchange for an honest review.

A sequel to “A Convenient Arrangement” in so far as it has some of the same characters in it. It is actually written in more or less the same timeline. A story of two women who meet and fall in love. But each have hang ups from a previous relationship. No real angst in the story just uncertainty about where they are going and should they go there. Nice to have characters in it that are already known but no worries story all about Finn and Amelia. Jess and Cody only peripheral.
Liked it, as I did the other book.

Love, Accidentally is a cute premise relying on the old second date U-Haul joke. Amelia Stone is afraid her life is passing her by without having a wife, a house and especially children. After meeting a woman who has the same goals as her, Amelia and Veronica decide to move in together. While driving her rented truck over to her girlfriend’s loft Amelia is involved in a serious accident.
Finn Douglas is a paramedic with a heart of gold. She is not looking for a relationship yet she finds herself attracted to Amelia as she tends to her medical needs.
This romance has a high cuteness factor because of the wonderfully crafted character of Nana, Amelia’s eighty six year old grandmother. Nana plays a pivotal role in manoeuvring Finn constantly in front of Amelia. And she is a hoot!
Clevenger and Rey have hit their collaborative writing stride with this novel. The story is full of twists and turns and the sex scenes sizzle. The only drawback for me is the use of lack of communication to float the plot in the last third of the book.
Love, Accidentally is an entertaining read. Amelia and Finn are charismatic characters who easily draw you into the story. And once you are in you will happily stay to the end.

Sweet with a U-haul-ful of steam
This was quite a fun book to read in an afternoon. This book is part of a series by Jaime Clevenger and Aurora Rey. I really enjoyed the first book and this second one is a wonderful follow-up.

We are introduced to Amelia and Finn in the first book but they don’t get much prime time in that obviously so it’s a delight to have these characters fleshed out and get their own story. Both MCs are quite adorable and their banter is light and full of humor. Both characters are wary of insta relationships and that naturally becomes the driver for all the angst that they have to face. A few friendly appearances by characters in the first book make their way into this as well. However I think it’s Edith who steals the show with her acerbic wit and general “nana-ness”.

The writing is fantastic and I’m in awe of how seamless the writing is even when penned by two different authors. There is lots of steam, even more than the first book I think and the importance of being true and comfortable with yourself is a recurring theme which I really liked. Highly recommended 5 stars!

𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿.

This book is part of A Mile High City Romance series but it's not a sequel. The timeline actually runs parallel to the earlier book of the series (A Convenient Arrangement) but the focus is on Amelia and Finn this time. Honestly, I had been looking forward to this as I already liked Amelia and Finn's chemistry in the first book. I just didn't expect the second book to come out only a month later so that's a pleasant surprise.

We know from the earlier book that Finn is the paramedic who attended to Amelia's road traffic accident and while they are attracted to each other, Amelia is already attached. I thought this book would be a slow-burn but I guessed wrong. We didn't have to wait that long for Amelia to ditch her six-week old relationship with Veronica, who is unequivocally wrong for her. So that's a plus point in my book. And the authors didn't cross the lines of cheating, so that's a bonus. Amelia and Finn were perfect at the start, but when we look deeper, both characters aren't as perfect as they seem to be and their relationship isn't perfect either. They didn't know what they wanted and they misunderstood each other at times, but I like how they worked through it all and ended up being perfect for each other.

This series has been great. The authors have a good collaboration going on and I really hope to see them produce stories together more often.
