An interesting and refreshing interpretation of what it means to be truly "wealthy", one that we could all reflect on. The author's personal journey is truly inspiring and reminds us all that to truly be "wealthy" we must invest in ourselves, families and communities holistically.

A useful book for people who want strategies to build resilience even in the face of really awful situations. In this book, there are plenty of tips and tricks for life, love, rebuilding and finances. A great read for absolutely everyone. Thanks to NetGalley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I absolutely love this concept! The author explains that real, true wealth is so much more than the measure of our material resources, but is instead a combination of purpose, relationships, service, and abundance. This is wonderful advice that everyone would benefit from exploring.

While the author references and cites many and varied sources, where the book stumbles a bit is the abundant inclusion of personal anecdotes and stories. After a while, it felt like I was reading "I, I, I," on every page. While this is her book and her prerogative, I found it overly focused on her and her experiences to the point where it was distracting. Also, the lengthy intro and ending with the references to certified consultants felt a bit MLM-y and tickled my spidey sense. It made me question the author's credibility and motivations a bit--was this guidance or an attempt to sell me something?

That said, there is a lot of valuable information here and good food for thought. As with any book about personal growth, take what you can use and leave the rest.

Many thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review!

The author, an economist on a corporate fast track and mother of two young children, found herself a widow at age 31 after the sudden, unexpected death of her husband.

I have been in a similar situation; I was an executive for a major hospital chain and my daughter died, suddenly and likely due to a medical error . . . it is difficult to keep your balance and find effective ways to stay steady in the eye of the original storm and then, later, find some way to keep going, honoring the grief while looking through the haze at whatever might come next.

The author offers valuable lessons on how to create abundance in your life as well as (in my opinion, an even more valuable asset) how to determine what abundance really is, specifically to you.

Her style is engaging, she obviously can walk her talk, and she offers gems that are useful and memorable as well as concrete advice on effective ways to move forward, no matter where you start. This is a wonderful, very readable, guide on ways to take ownership of your financial future and create the life you want.

This book takes an empathetic approach and gives bite size approaches and allows you to have kindness and patience with yourself when dealing with life. This is so necessary for everyone to read in life. Highly recommend. Especially loved the reflection to true life to humanize my feelings and relate. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This is an updated version of a previously released book. The author updated to include her thoughts related to the Covid-19 pandemic. I have read many books on personal finance and have led sessions of Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace course as well. I am also a certified holistic nutritionist. This book is not nearly as good as many others that I have read in either the financial or wellness areas. The book is a mishmash with a section on life purpose, as well as personal finance, wellness and relationships. The author has a new age "spirituality" which also did not suit me, as a committed Christian.
My recommendation for readers would be for them to choose other books more targeted to the areas of interest to them, whether that be finance, health, wellness or relationships.
I received a complementary advanced copy of the book from the publisher via NetGalley.

What a beautiful book! Holistic Wealth is a great book for any age. Keisha Blair gives amazing advice across the ages and her story is truly incredible. Losing her husband at 31 with two very young kids is hard enough, she didn’t let this horrible situation deter her from falling apart, but she put everything in order to create a happy situation for herself and her kids. I really admire her for that. Anyone, no natter what your situation can learn something valuable here. I highly recommend! Thank you NetGalley!
