I always try to experience Pink's books by listening to him narrate; it makes them more memorable for me, and his enthusiasm for the topic comes through. I know that this book is one that I will think back on (as with most of his books.) I also checked out the eBook so that I could more easily take some notes. After a bit, some of the regrets sounded repetitious, but he did use them to effectively make his points. I'm not sure that I will ever hold a "regret party," but I really liked the fact that he gave ideas for useful actions and ways to make your regrets productive.

I was super excited when I received this book as an ARC, because one of my favorite personal development books is Daniel Pink''s When: The Scientific Secrets Of Perfect Timing- needless to say, I also rather enjoyed his book The Power Of Regret- How Looking Backward Moves Us Forward.

He brought up a lot of interesting points about the way society reviews regret, but my favorite part was when he dives further into what it means to actually regret, and how we should view it more as a process instead of just a thing we experience. Often times, regret involves us telling ourselves a story inside our head that never actually happened, as we start to fuse past and present into one similar memory- which can often get muddled along the way.

If you're interested in learning more the different ways regrets manifest within our lives (The Author teaches you about four different types of regret), and about how you can better utilize regret to continue moving forward and view it as our ultimate redemption, then definitely check out this read!
