This was a difficult read to finish. Wanted to love it but the plot fell apart for me. The idea itself was strong and there was great character development, but the story didn’t flow as well as what I’d hoped.

I loved this book! It's well-written, enjoyable, and a great read. Ellery Lloyd did a great job of writing in a way that captures the readers attention, and makes you not want to put it down until you're finished! I would highly recommend it!

Thank you for a free E-Arc of this book! This book was a wild ride. I loved the premise of the story. The characters were interesting and each had a purpose in the story. The idea of an exclusive club was not a new concept, but the way the author spun the plot as well as the layers of mystery surrounding the club was unique! I finished this book in less than a day. Well done!

DNF at 36%. It’s boring and it’s jumpy and I’m having trouble following it. Setting it down for now. Tried it on both kindle and audio. Not for me.

Thank you for the review edition of this book.

I like a book that has the mystery of an exclusive club. This book did not fall short of my expectations. It was a wild ride and I enjoyed the whole thing.

This book started out with twisted storylines, with murder and secrets and you would think this will be great it had a very soap opera feel but something was missing and I felt as if It took more energy keeping the characters sorted out trying to figure now who was that character and what did they do again? I felt like the author has it out for celebrities lol.. It was kind of outlandish but a little predictable at the same time.
I give it a 3.5 because this could be a great visual experience if ever turned into a mini series of some sort If some changes were made.

This one was not a hit for me. A little slow, so many characters, and then it all wrapped up so quickly.

The Club was a mystery about a highly exclusive clubs across the world but as they're opening the newest location, tempers are flaring and the newest island getaway leads to mysterious death.

This book was very lackluster to me: very little character development and overall, too much time focusing on the exclusivity of the clubs that I didn't care to find out about the actual deaths or any mystery surrounding it.

This one was pretty underwhelming. So there are some people dead on an exclusive island for celebrities. We spend the whole book learning what led up to these deaths and why they occurred. In the end I determined that I absolutely didn't even care, even a tiny bit, about any of them. So unfortunately, this one was a miss for me.

This is a suburban drama rich people behaving badly thriller. It was good and fast paced.
It takes place on an island where only members can get in. However the group going have secrets and unknown grudges about others so things will go wrong and turn into a murder mystery. Great fun read!

"The Club" by Elderly Lloyd offers an intriguing premise that had me curious from the start. While the mystery aspect kept me engaged, I found the pacing to be a bit uneven, with moments of excitement interspersed with slower segments. The characters were intriguing but felt somewhat underdeveloped, leaving me wanting more depth in their personalities. While the book kept me entertained, I couldn't help but wish for a more consistent flow and deeper exploration of the story's potential.

Unfortunately, this one missed the mark for me. I was only able to make about half way through, before I ended up calling this a DNF.

I really enjoyed this book- it contained all the best parts of suspense, multiple narration, and the twists. I did not figure out the ending until the twists were revealed. I would say - the ending (last 10% or so) seemed long.

This book had great characterization, excellent story telling, and made me want to keep reading. I will continue to read from this author and look out for their new releases.

This one was... not great.

Honestly I almost stopped at about the 30% mark, but one review said it gets better if you can make it past the 50% mark, so I trudged on. It did get better toward the end and I liked how everything wrapped up... but getting there was tough.

There was just too many characters and it was hard to follow their backstory (was she the one who lost her parents? was she the one who was the personal assistant? what was her job again?). Then there are other storylines with other characters introduced and it was just too much. There are WAY too many people that are mentioned. This book would have been better if it had focused on two or three people and told their stories, rather than entangle others (the woman with the daughter? what was the point of all of those pages about her?).

Anyway, this is rich people behaving badly. It's about blackmail and revenge and people die. But it could have been better.

The premise of an exclusive club for the rich where murders occur sounded right up my alley. It was hard for me to keep track of each POV which made it a little clunky for me. The atmosphere was great and the end picked up the pace! I want to give Lloyd’s People Like Her a try after reading this one

Something about reading about celebs and the ultra wealthy feels like such a guilty pleasure indulgence. Reading this book felt like i had a backstage pass to witness all of the drama, secrets and murders and it was such a fun getaway. Only, I got to leave the Club when finished!

I really struggled with this book. I picked it up numerous times only to get frustrated and give up. There were too many characters and it was very hard to keep them straight. The storyline was also a little convoluted for my taste. In the end the stories all came together but it was rough getting there.
