The story is very sweet. Achingly sweet. I should state up front that I am probably not the target audience for this book. Which is my mistake.

The progression is straightforward enough and isn't a hard read. The characters have tragic pasts but I felt was only there to somehow push the point that they should end up together. This is just personal preference, I felt the build up of Bridget and Grace's relationship felt a bit sudden. This was most probably intentional because that is the point of light romantic stories like this, so again that is just me.

Nevertheless, I loved that this is gay with a happy ending and the Christmas sprinkles to top it off. The rating is because these kinds of stories isn't *my*cup of tea.

I’d like to first off start with both the title and cover of this novel. It is extremely eye catching and perfect for the holiday season. I think that’s going to be a huge selling point for this one. So bravo on that! The only thing is that just from the cover you can’t tell this is an LGBTQ novel. I have a few friends who would pick this up specifically because it is LGBTQ so that’s the only thing I think could be improved on the cover is some sort of representation.

You don’t see a lot of LGBTQ romance novels these days, and especially holiday themed ones! So this story is going to be one I’ll be recommending to all my LGTBQ friends and fellow readers out there this holiday season.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to read and review.
