A scary thriller that leaves you guessing. I was absolutely a fan of this book I didn’t see it coming. It was full of twists and turns. I was shocked by the ending, highly recommend.

The Guest Room by Rona Halsall is another twisty and riveting read that will have you guessing until the very end. I am always thrilled to get my hands on anything by the talented Ms Halsall, and her latest does not in any way disappoint.

Steph is discovering independence for the first time after a thirty year marriage has dissolved, and is finding it a bit of a struggle, particularly as strange and threatening events begin to transpire. Is her ex-husband playing games to pressure her into selling the house? Would a lodger provide a sense of added security? When she meets Noah, a young man who is looking for a fresh start and a place to live, it seems that the solution to both of their problems has been found. But when unexplained events once again unsettle an already nervous Steph, she begins to wonder if she was too hasty in inviting a complete stranger into her home and life.

Once again, Ms Halsall delivers a twisty narrative that will have you wuestioning everything, and everyone, until the final page. 4.5 stars

Wow! What a crazy twisted story! This book was going along nicely, I had my bad guys picked out then BAM!! What a twist! I usually can figure most things out but I didn't guess this one till later in the book?! I definitely enjoyed reading this book! It had suspense, intrigue, action, and many twists and turns!
