The cliff hanger ending of the previous book left me eager to see
Just who took the money, could it really be Phoebe?

There are heartbreaking threads running through
Making this a highly emotive read, it's true.
But through it all there's a wonderful sense of romance
And of survivors being given a better chance.

There are great characters and learning their histories
Helps you understand and solve some of the mysteries.
It also develops awareness of what others may be going through
And that's something we all need to think about, too.

This is such a moving story of healing and more
Moving on to a new future that's brighter than before.
Whilst things don't always go as you expect them to,
It is a brilliant read for me and for you.

For my complementary copy of this book, I say thank you,
I throughly enjoyed reading it and this is my honest review.

Wow, that was an emotional read!
I love how Jessica uses different characters in this series, while still telling the story of Sammie and the hedgehog rescue.
This time it was Phoebe’s turn in the spotlight. And goodness me what a tale she has to tell! I was utterly hooked into her story, desperate to see how things would turn out for her.
It was so good to catch up with the other characters from the series too and to see Sammie and Josh in the build up for their big day.
So much going on in this book!

I’m a self confessed Jessica Redland Stan!
This was definitely my favourite in the Hedgehog Hollow series.
I feel Jessica really went into extra time with this book and she added new characters for us to fall in love with.
Desperately waiting for more

I love this series! Still not a fan of Chloe, but I love this series (sorry, just had to put that in). Samantha is probably the best human being ever to grace the pages of a novel. Her ability to put things in perspective and be able to see her own hardships as small in comparison to others and to forgive others is something we should all aspire to. It was nice that her mother is making more progress in coming to terms with her past and developing the relationship with her daughter that Samantha has always deserved. And of course, I love Josh - he is the perfect partner for Samantha and offers her the support she needs to be reminded that she is never alone. I also like that he's still not a 100% fan of Chloe (sorry, had to throw that in again - I'm just never going to like her no matter how much the author wants me to). I loved having Phoebe's story as the other POV for this book - there were multiple times throughout the novel that I just wanted to reach through the pages and give her a big hug. I'm intrigued if anything will develop between her and Fizz and I'm so glad that we are going to get another book to maybe find out. There are also a few other storylines I can't wait to see the resolution of. I'm so happy to know we've got at least one more Hedgehog Hollow novels in the future.

A sweet quick read that actually had more depth to the story than I thought it would based on the cover. Which goes to show you really shouldn't judge a book by it's cover.

The story started when Samantha or “Sam” discover that the hedgehog conservation centre account is emptied. It linked to Phoebe who was ‘related’ to the Grimes family though Sam has no idea but found out after the incident. So, naturally, Sam blamed herself for being so naive to trust a part timer with the account. Unbeknownst to her, she is about to discover a heartbreaking truth about Phoebe and she is as much as a victim as she is from the Grimes vendetta.

This is the 4th book from Hedgehogs Hollow series and is my 1st book. It is a story about family, forgiveness, sacrifices, pain and bravery in a close knit community. It touches on domestic violence, child abuse and PTSD. I admired Sam’s attitude to forgive and embrace Phoebe despite the missing monies. I love Phobe’s sense of responsibility which given if it is me, I would never do what she does in the story. Thoroughly enjoyed the story

Yes, the fourth book in the Hedgehog Hollow series and it was well worth the wait. Fantastic story by the fantastic Jessica Redland, you can never go wrong with any book that she has written. Follow the lives of the family and new friends but don't forget the many hedgehogs that are rescued and their lives saved. Well done Jessica, you are worth far more than the 5 stars that I am allowed to give.

Many thanks to Netgalley and publisher for this e ARC

Another wonderful book in this series. This one answers some questions, touching on some emotional topics. As always, the characters are real and relatable, and the plot flows easily from scene to scene. Love this book and series.
I received an advance copy of this boo in exchange for my honest review

Yay another Hedgehog hollow installment. Thanks to Netgalley I was able to read this before it's publication date on 6th January and I'm over the moon.

Once again this wonderful author has transported me to the hollow and I felt as if I was one of the characters.

This book, like the others in the series, has some emotional parts and this book particularly you really feel for Pheobe and Darcie and the things they've been put through. But as always the lovely Samantha and Josh to the rescue.

Poor Samantha still suffers with her PTSD from the previous emotional situations that have happened throughout this series but she's an amazing person and to have Josh by her side and Fizz and all of the other volunteers at Hedgehog hollow seems to hold her up when she's struggling.

I am still not a fan of Chloe but she redeems herself a little through the book and the surprise for the wedding is just beautiful.

Another brilliant book by Jessica. I thoroughly enjoyed being at Hedgehog hollow again and I will recommend this series to anyone.

A Wedding at Hedgehog Hollow by Jessica Redland

This is book 4 in the series and it was great to meet Samantha and Joshua again. I missed their story and adore them. They are match made in heaven, people who complet each other in every way. This book is not just their romance but so much more.

"You can't help someone is they won't help themselves, so try not to let it eat away at you."

An appreciative and unique thing about Jessica Redland's work is though it is about Sam, she has involved stories of different people in each of her books and their POVs and the impact their lives have by Sam being in it. I love this so much and this is the same in current story which has Phoebe in it. Phoebe is strong, I mean mentally and emotionally but seeing what she goes through and made her so breaks my heart. Whatever she goes through is so wrong and unfair.

My all time favourite ~ "The fragrance stays in the hand that gives the rose."

Sam's mom, what a tremendous growth and change in her behaviour from when we met her first. She was someone whom you would never want in your life but she has come a long way and I have started warming upto her. She had her reasons and like Sam we should have faith and hope.

Chloe is showing improvement but gets back to her older self which caused Sam PTSD and standing up to her is what I was expecting Sam to do long back. I am glad she showed her how it was affecting Sam's health.

This story has everything from family, friends, love, hope, pain, hurt, founded family and close knit community. Ofcourse! How can I forget the cute hedgehogs who make it beautiful. This shows us how showing little love to someone can light up their world and how standing up for oneself is important. My favourite character from this book was sweet Hayley.

Jessica Redland is one of my favourites and her books are not just romance but each one has a learning that I look forward to, a way of life and people around us. Everything about her characters and story is realistic which makes them relatable to great extent.

Like all her books, I loved this one too. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Another fantastic read in the Hedgehog Hollow series. The title says it all but it's not all about the wedding there is so much more that goes on before it, some of it hard to read and not get upset when you think that it is probably happening to someone in real life. There is a happy ending for all concerned though
Loved it, can't wait for the next one, would give it more than 5 stars if I could

So after the cliffhanger at the end of the last book, we finally find out what happened. We hear phoebe's story and of course more of Samantha's story.
There are bits that are hard to read but overall it's still a brilliant story and I loved visiting hedgehog Hollow again.

I'm gutted we are two thirds of the way through the Hedgehog Hollow series because it means we only have 2 books left and I could read this series forever!
One thing I've taken from this series, is that we could all be more like Samantha, kind, forgiving and strong. It's hard to do that sometimes and I think we all try to be these 3 things but I'll be trying in 2022 to be a bit more Samantha.

As I've probably said when reviewing the other 3 books, I absolutely love the little hedgehog at the start of each chapter and how you seem to find out something new about hedgehogs in each book.

Thank you Netgalley and Boldwood books for the chance to read an early copy of this brilliant book

I really don't know how the author manages it, but this is once again an amazing book to read. I suppose you could read it as a stand-alone but in all honesty, you will get so much pleasure from reading this series in order.

As the title suggests, this one is about a wedding at Hedgehog Hollow, if you are following this series then you will know who it is! While the wedding is an important part of the story, it is about so much more than that.

This one is told in two voices and I adored it. Samantha is the owner and hedgehog rescuer, she has run the hedgehog sanctuary for a while and is doing great. Always busy but never too busy to help others when needed. The second voice is Phoebe, and while she had been mentioned previously she has a story to tell and if you thought Samantha's was tough, Pheobe's is definitely worse.

The way the two stories have been combined makes for some tough reading at times, and it certainly is very pertinent to the story that gradually emerges. Things at the sanctuary are hanging in the balance, but while Samantha and the rest of the family, friends and volunteers are doing their best, Samantha is run ragged.

Pheobe is a character who gradually emerges and I adored how she started to grow in confidence given the tough life she had been given.

This story is one that has some home truths that emerge, and for me, they are rightly deserved. Some interesting new characters and of course some old favourites. By the end of the story, I was struggling to read due to the watery eyes! Emotional it definitely was on many levels. I have to say that I think this is the best one so far, although I adore the previous books.

While there are some tough topics there are some brilliant fun moments, especially the naming of newly arrived hedgehogs! I also learnt more new things about hedgehogs as well.

This is a series that I would recommend reading in order, it is heartwarming and at times made my blood boil, but it also made me chuckle, grin and tear up. It is a brilliant read and one I would definitely recommend.

Another fantastic installment in the Hedgehog Hollow series by Jessica Redland. This book wasn't at all as I had been expecting, it was full of grit and more dark tales as well as happy endings. It was great to see continuing characters bloom as well as new characters introduced. An absolute triumph that I couldn't put down!

Thank you to Boldwood and Netgalley for this ARC

Nice little book, not read the others in the series, so took me awhile to connect with the characters. I did enjoy it, although found it a bit of a struggle

I have read other books by Jessica Redland and loved them. I haven't read the previous books in The Hedgehog Hollow series but it wasn't a problem as it was very easy to catch up with what had happened in the previous ones. I loved the characters and the storyline and the emotions were there as I would expect from this author.
I just loved it.

Thank you to NetGalley and Boldwood Books for my ARC.

I've been looking forward to this book since the release of Family Secrets...well it did not disappoint. Its such a roller coaster of emotions, some chapters are tough to read and will have you crying sad tears while other chapters are just to cute and will have you crying happy tears. The first couple of chapters did confuse me slightly as I was expecting the story to pick up right where book 3 finished, but keep reading, it all becomes clear within a few chapters. I love how 2 characters stories are told and intertwined, it's so easy to get lost in the hedgehog hollow world and i cant wait for rhe next installment

I hadn't read the previous instalments of the series when I started this book. It can be easily read as a stand alone, but just reading "The story so far" right at the beginning of the book, I was too intrigued to know more about it and bought the previuos three books which I read in less than a week in a Hedgehog Hollow frenzy (I even listened to the audiobooks on Spotify, give it a try, they're worth it!)
So, yes, I would suggest to read them all, not because it is necessary to understand what's going on in this one, but only for sheer pleasure.
I absolutely loved Phoebe and Darcie, their story really touched my heart. Thank you Jessica for another fabulous read!

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Pretty much a guaranteed five stars from me as I love this series and it's characters so much. That said I really did enjoy this one as Phoebe and Darcie are a great addition. From previous installments we knew of Phoebe already but I absolutely loved her as a main character and her heart breaking story was compelling - six-year-old Darcie was adorable too. And, that's why these books work as a series or standalones because each book focuses on new or different characters (plus Jessica provides a helpful character list and story so far synopsis). In this one I also really liked that the wedding happened but contrary to the name "A Wedding at Hedgehog Hollow" it certainly didn't dominate and was just part of a richer story. Bring on the next one.....
