This is the first of a series, so if you read this and get attached to the characters and want to see where they will go, it would be fun to follow them

There are several characters, all with a lot going on in their lives. I think all the introductions to all the characters was a little overwhelming. As you get to know them, it will be easier to follow the story lines. There were enough unanswered questions for the next several books.

I like the premise of the book...I think we have all had job where you wanted to tell a client they were a jerk yet fear losing your Job. Ava Flynn has had enough defending billionaires cheating on their taxes, and lets John Wilson know he should pay his fair share and loses her job as expected. There had been one client whose accountant had screwed up, and in addition to the $20M he truly owed, they wanted an additional $7M. In his will he let her a home on Nantucket valued at $7M...with the clause that she can't sell for 5 years, So she decides to move there. and turn it into a B & B. The story explores the rich relationship of life long friends and the family dynamics of the widowed Ava Flynn, mother of triplets that couldn't be more different from each other.

This is the first book by this author that I have read and found it light, entertaining and more of a beach read. Three women in their 50's are living in NYC and at the top of their game, but feeling disconnected with life outside work. This story is about Ava, a high-powered attorney, who just got let go from her job. Luckily for her, a previous client has passed and left her a house on the beach in Nantucket. Ava moves to Nantucket with her two best friends, Hallie and Quinn. When the inheritance for Ava comes out of the blue, all three are happy to go help Ava fulfill a dream to make this inherited house on beautiful Nantucket an upscale Bed & Breakfast. The drama with Charlotte and her husband felt thrown in there, without enough story to make me feel one way or another about either of them. Ava, Luna and Mila's lives aren't the only ones going through changes and we meet Ava's daughters Charlotte and Samantha who are both well some times very frustrating and then her fairly level headed son Jackson, I find the way Ava interacts with them especially the girls she didn't give herself enough credit that she could handle them and as much as her daughters appeared to not want their Mum around they are very lucky she is. I really wanted to like this book and parts of it I did. I like books about mature women, their friendships, how they overcome adversity, and how women support each other. This book has it all, love, loss, unbreakable friendships, learning to let others in, secrets revealed, new chapters in life, a touch of magic, plenty of laughs along with frustrations and lows

Thanks to NetGalley, the publisher and the author for an ARC

A decent beach read. I actually liked Willow the healer whereas most reviewers didn’t. What I had a hard time with was the rather unrealistic way Ava jumped into extensive, expensive renovations for an endeavor she really didn’t have any experience with. That said, I would still probably read the next installment as I find beach reads enjoyable.

The Nantucket Beachfront Inn, by Ainsley Keaton
This book follows three friends, their “second act” after leaving, for the right reasons, their first careers. Ava, a high paid and powered attorney, finally rebels from her tax haven seeking millionaire clients. As luck would have it, just when she has realized she has no way to support her lifestyle, and old client dies and leaves her his Nantucket beachfront home, all set up to be a B & B. Her best friends, Quinn and Hallie, decide to come along to the beach…at first as support, but ultimately to reestablish themselves as well.
Ava has problems with her children, one of which is not speaking to her at all. The usual beach shenanigans prevail, including a little bit of witchcraft and lots of fun in the sun. This is the first book in what will be a series, and stands out as a great beach read. Beyond that, there are just too many lucky coincidences, but it’s fun and that’s good, too.

Ava has had a serious set-back in life. Her husband left her and stole all her money. She lives in New York and is a high-powered attorney. She's stressed and unhappy and she takes it out on a scuzzy client. Said client is rich and powerful, which leads to Ava losing her job. At her age, it is tough finding a job that pays the same as her previous job. Then good luck shines on her in the form of an inheritance. An previous client has left her a large, Victorian home on Sconset Beach in Nantucket. With her tail between her legs, she approaches her estranged mother and asks her to invest in a Bed and Breakfast. Her friends come with her as she repairs relationships with her mother, a daughter, and builds a new life.

This was an engaging story. There are lots of stories going on at the same time. The author is setting the path for additional stories. So sometimes I wished there was more information, which will probably come in a subsequent book. The writing style is easy to read. The characters are varied, from the staid workaholic to a free-to-be-me witch. The only thing I didn't like was some of the language and how easy some of the characters fell into bed.

Did not finish. I think the best response to the plot as I read was, "I'm sorry, what???" Story was all over the place and not at all cohesive. Again, did not finish after reading a good 30% of the book.

Ava is a mature woman who worked in a law firm, has been widowed with triplet children, two girls and a boy. She was remarried, but her husband left her along with a million dollars of her money. Now starting over, she has a lot of turmoil and unresolved issues with her kids and her job. This is a 7 book series and this book is a fast paced ride. Looking forward to reading more about the characters and their drama.

This is a good, relaxing read. There were some parts that I found confusing and a little off putting. The three "best" friends kept secrets from one another. That didn't seem real to me. The Wicca element was interesting, but not overdone. It was informative, but not overly insistent on your believing in it. There are more books to follow, probably featuring one of the other characters.

I received this book as an ARC and this is my review. I loved this book! The story is loaded with drama and crazy situations with three friends who will do most anything for each other. The author plans future books to continue the journey. I totally recommend this story to readers who enjoy reading about lasting friendships with never-ending obstacles and constantly evolving outcomes.

I really enjoyed this book. The dynamic between the main characters was great and it was really a feel good book. It is part of a series, but I had no problem reading this as a stand alone.

This book is a breath of fresh air and full of redemption. Ava and her friends have had some hard knocks, but their bonds of friendship are strong and they are there for each other. The book resolves some of their issues, yet leaves enough open that I am really looking forward to the 2nd book in this series!

Ava Flynn is a high-powered New York attorney that is without a job and is broken-hearted by a husband that left her. A wealthy benefactor wills her a large house in Nantucket. She heads to the island with her two best friends. Ava gets busy fixing up the beach house so she can operate a bed and breakfast. She and her contractor are attracted to each other but he is almost 20 years younger than her. Ava's estranged daughter lives on Nantucket. They reconnect on the island at a time she really needs her mother. This is a very good book that I highly recommend.

Along with her friends Hallie and Quinn they travel to the house to check out the inheritance. Ava decided to turn the house into a high end destination B&B. She hires the handsome Deacon to renovate the house. Attempting to mend the marriage of her daughter Charlotte and husband Matthew, she makes Matthew the chef, giving him the option to plan menus and use farm to table produce. Throw in handsome actor son Matthew and the beautiful witch Willow, and her friend’s cancer Ava is always busy.

What a charming start to a beachfront lifestyle series! I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know each character, and experiencing the story through their personal perspectives.

Thank you NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for an honest review. I can’t wait for the next one to come out so I am able to devour it as well!

Pleasant, yet predictable beach read. This is the first in a series, and there are a lot of characters to keep up with. Overall it was an enjoyable enough read!

Thank you to the publisher, Ainsley Keaton, and Netgalley for this arc in exchange for my honest review.

3.5/5 rounded up to 4 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
To me, this was a very predictable book. This was a book that was an easy read, but it was also a feel good book that you knew would end happily. It’s a book about friendships, families, and potential losses. I am excited to see about the next books in the series to see how exactly the storyline progresses. Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for a copy of this book.

This is a great book of heartbreak, love and redemption. Ava is lost when she loses her job and knows she can't afford her current lifestyle. Her best friends don't understand how she doesn't have a nest egg to rely on to get her through. Heartbreak and stolen funds plague her. When, she begins to run low on money, she finds out that a past client actually left her a home in his will. The home comes with rules she must follow to keep the home, so she packs up and heads out to Nantucket to figure out how to move forward. She brings her son and two best friends to help her see it through, and also as backup, as she's a little afraid of her daughter who lives near.

These friends and two of Ava's children have a lot of hardships to get through, some hidden and some are outward, but they are all important to the individual and must work together to get through the hard times. This is a wonderful book about redemption and having the will to move on, survive, and thrive.

I have mixed feelings about the book. It's the first book in a seven book series - introducing the reader to the characters who will each have their stories told in the subsequent books. I felt there were too many sub-plots and the ending was not what I expected. I would have to read the next book in the series to see if any of my questions are answered, but I am on the fence as to whether or not I will.
Thanks to NetGalley for a copy.

This was a predictable chick flick for me. I didn’t care for a lot of it, especially the withcraft.
Thanks NetGalley, the publisher and the author for the advanced copy.
