This book was very cute. I found myself rooting for Ava, but also for all of the side characters. I liked the side stories of magical healing and Ava’s granddaughter. It felt like it ended very suddenly but that just makes me want to read the next book in the series.

This was a good little novel. 3 Friends changing their lives in middle age. Sticking together and helping out

I had high hopes for this book, and it could have great potential, but it fell way short of the mark. It needs extensive editing to address all manner of problems. If I could sum up this book in one word it would be "awkward." The writing is uneven, characters aren't consistent in their actions, timelines (especially for a major house renovation) are unreasonable and all over the place. here are way too many characters and each of them gets their own POV chapters, which seems excessive.

I see that this is the first in a planned seven-book series, so part of the problem may be trying to do too much too soon in this one. But I will not be continuing this series.

Thank you to NetGalley, the author, and the publisher for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This was such a wonderful, delightful read. The characters were colorful, vibrant and fun. A story of love, family and new beginnings. Ava, Quinn and Hallie are three best friends who each have secret hurts they don’t want to reveal to the other two. Ava is 53, a highpowered tax attorney. She loses her job because one day she tells a client exactly what she thinks of him. He is extremely wealthy yet avoids paying tax. Ava has no money behind her as her husband left after clearing out their accounts. She is left a $7million house on Nantucket Island and decides to turn it into a B&B. We meet other members of her family and others who live on the island. Simply delightful! I can’t wait for the next in the series!

Ava Flynn, an attorney in Manhattan, had finally had enough of her prestigious position where she was defending cheats and liars. At 54, Ava had raised her triplets alone after the untimely death of her husband when she was eight months pregnant, and she had worked punishing hours all while never feeling successful at either motherhood or her career. After being fired, she discovered that her second husband had a gambling addiction and had completely emptied their savings account, leaving her with nothing. Fortunately, a former client had been impressed with her work, and as a reward, left her a beautiful home on Nantucket. With the help and support of her best friends Hallie and Quinn, Ava relocated and decided to open an upscale Bed & Breakfast. Her daughter Charlotte and her family lived there, her son Jackson came out from Los Angeles to help with the move, and during the renovation the family is able to strengthen their bonds while also forging new ones.

I loved the loyalty the three ladies had for one another, and they were willing to expand their circle to include Hallie’s nurse, Maria; Willow, who is the local Wiccan healer; all three of Ava’s children, and Deacon, the contractor who renovated the inn. The Nantucket Beachfront Inn is a welcoming place, inviting and safe, in a beautiful setting, and after an ending with several surprises, I can honestly say I am waiting anxiously for the sequel.

I really enjoyed this book. Character development was good. The plot was very interesting. Not a lot of typos.

A feel-good beachy read that wraps up neatly a lot of problems facing Ava. Ava is divorced, fairly broke and newly fired from her job. Kismet brings an opportunity into her life, but she has to force herself to mend some bridges.

Ava, a 54 year old divorced New York attorney, is starting over after being fired from job as a high powered attorney at a firm where she slaved through 70-80 hour work weeks without ever being made partner. She thinks she's unemployable at her age in the law profession, and is looking for a change when a surprise gift of a Nantucket Beach Inn is willed to her from a former client who she had befriended. She moves to Nantucket to survey the Inn and decide what to do with it. Ava hires a friend as a designer and a local contractor to help her remodel the Inn as a B&B. Her daughter moves in with her infant after suffering a rift in her marriage, and she hires her son-in-law as the future chef of her Inn. And then there's the local young woman gifted with "Magick" who tells fortunes and bestows potions and cures and is somehow involved with Ava's son. The coincidences and oddball relationships are all wrapped up in a hurry at the end of the novel, apparently just to tie everything up with a bow. It all seemed rather improbable to me, and could have used the skills of a professional editor to fix the wrong word choices, flawed sentence construction and incorrect grammar. There was even one case of a character being called by the wrong name...

The Nantucket Beachfront Inn, by Ainsley Keaton is book one in an upcoming series of seven books. The story centers around Ava who is a high-powered attorney and her friends Hallie and Quinn. This book introduces you to the main characters and I am assuming they will develop more as the series continues.
Ava is discontented in her career which leads to her being fired. Her life is in a turmoil for a bit, and just when she does not think she can cope with her monetary issues, she inherits a humongous Nantucket beach home. Her daughter Charlotte is having marital problems and reluctantly comes with her baby to Nantucket to live with her. In an effort to repair their marriage, Ava decides that Charlotte’s estranged husband will be the head chef. Hallie and Quinn also join Ava in her new venture. You will also meet other characters that add interest to the story. This group has their share of heartbreak, illness, love, and new beginnings.
I enjoyed this book, and I am sure it will be a great feel-good beach read. It was easy to read and at times hard to put down. If you like stories about strong women and novels by Erin Hilderbrand, you will be fond of Ainsley Keaton’s new series. Thank you to NetGalley for this ARC.

What a delightful story! This is my first time reading anything by Ainsley Keaton, and it looks like this is the authors first book. It's perfectly setup to be a series, which the author has stated at teh end that there will be 7 books in this series. I cannot wait to see what happens with Ava, Hallie, Quinn, Willow, Jackson, Charlotte, Samantha......just so many characters to fall in love with in future stories. Can't wait for the next book!

The story of three friends helping establish a B & B. and all their problems. Typical summer read which was totally enjoyable .and kept your interest

Ok storyline, but extremely repetitive and overly detailed. Also, somewhat politically/agenda driven which took away from the enjoyment of the story. However, I did read through to the end and was invested in most of the characters. I would probably not read another in the series. Not my cup of tea, but might be someone else's favorite. If I could do half stars, I'd do 2.5, but rounded up because I did finish it.

This the first time I read this author and I really enjoyed this book.. Ava was a lawyer that helped billionaires find ways not to pay taxes. She was at a point where she had one of her clients so and he requested she be fired or he would take his business elsewhere, and then there is the fact that her husband left her and took their million dollar savings out of there account and besides her severence pay, left her for broke. A client had passed away and left her a beach house in Nantucket. She decided to move there and her two best friends Hallie and Quinn went their to to help her get the house fixed up to be a bed and breakfast. She needed an investor and that was her mother. Thus this journey begins. A VERY GOOD READ. Find out what happens on this journey. This is the first in a series and I can't wait until the next one.

This book was just okay for me. The title gave me very high hopes as there’s nothing I love more than Nantucket in the summer. I think the story could flow much better and easier with some editing work. Definitely has potential!

3.5/5 stars

Ava is a 54 year old lawyer who decides that she hates her job and tells off a client. She gets fired. her ex-husband has cleared out her savings. What is Ava going to do. She inherits a mansion in Nantucket and decides to make it an exclusive B&B. She takes her two best friends with her to start a new life.

I was on the fence on this one. I like the storyline but at times it was just odd. The whole Willow thing. kinda weird and seemed out of place for the rest of the story. At times I wanted to take the shoulders of some of the characters and shake them. I never felt very connected to any of the characters.

It was a quick read and one I didn't have to think to hard about. Will I read any of the other books in the series? Probably.

A lot going on in this one! Three friends from NYC end up in Nantucket starting a new journey in their lives. Lots of potential for these characters, but Willow seemed to be the one most developed, while others seemed like an afterthought.

I had high hopes for this one...but it fell short. It took me a long time to even get into the book and I had some issues with some of the editing mistakes. Overall 2/5.

Quick easy read about starting over on Nantucket. However too many characters, plot lines, and no one story was really fully developed. It would be better to focus on one or two characters and give them a whole book instead of bits and pieces of several characters. It flowed well but felt like I was missing pieces.

This book, The Nantucket Beachfront Inn, needs additional editing. Pronouns and even names tend to shift and there is no April 31, as is referred to in the book. Some elements of the plot seemed to be rather randomly thrown in and while they were forced into the story, questions remain. That being said, I liked most of the characters, though it was tough to relate to some of the problems they were having concerning their finances. At the end of the book, there is a note that it will become a series. I do hope there is more consistency in further episodes.

Ava unexpectedly inherits a inn on Nantucket. She decides to renovate it and open it up as a bred and breakfast. Why not? She’s been fired from her job as a attorney for being honest and has nothing else to do. It’s a big step for her but it feels right. As her family starts to help her with the Inn, the drama starts.
There are some heartwarming moments though the story drags a bit at times.
The amount of characters was a bit daunting. I’m thinking the author did this to go along with more books in this series.
I would like to read the next book in the series. Now that all the characters are pretty much known, it would be fun to see where the author takes the story. Especially interested in Ava’s romantic relationship with the much younger Deacon.
