I really love the message of this book, and I'm glad that childrens authors are making such an effort to write books that make children feel good about themselves.

Thanks to Netgalley and Tommy Nelson for a free digital copy.

A wonderful book about how God made you enough as you are. The illustration are frame worthy and the message very touching.

Beautiful message and beautiful illustrations. I was, however, disappointed at first that author Emily Ley didn’t also do the artwork…until I looked it up and realized I was thinking of a different Christian author Emily who is also a painter. Ha!
Well, the illustrations were simply beautiful and really well done. So in the end there was nothing to be disappointed about! Great children’s book. Important message with a great rhyme and rhythm.

Firstly, I am thankful for the opportunity to have received a free copy of this eBook through Netgalley in exchange for my honest review.

This was an adorable children’s book with delightful illustrations and such a beautiful story about being yourself, which is always good enough.

I rate this eBook 5 stars and would recommend to those with young children to read at bedtime.

I liked the illustrations and how diverse the characters were. I liked this book a lot, but didn't realize that there were going to be so many references to God. I don't have a problem with it, but this might need to be tagged as religious because some parents are not going to like that part of it.

Thanks NetGalley for this ARC!

This was disappointing. I was looking for an uplifting, affirming book to read to my 8-year-old who has been struggling with some self-esteem issues, but this one misses the mark unfortunately.

I like that the illustrations include a lot of racial diversity and children with disabilities. And it does have some moments of really great affirming message. Those moments are undercut for me however by the overall pithy and surface-level rhyming text and the overly religious angle. I would also like to see a bit more gender diversity. The girls all have long hair and are doing 'girl' things and the boys are all doing 'boy' things and that's just such a tired concept.

Nothing about the blurb or the listing on goodreads or NetGalley stood out to me as "this is a Christian book" but, uh, this is a Christian book. As we are not a religious family, it doesn't resonate. I'm glad I didn't purchase this because I would have been very disappointed.

*Thanks to NetGalley and Thomas Nelson Children's for providing an e-arc for review.

What a sweet book! This message of this story is absolutely beautiful, and something that I think a lot of children need to hear. The illustrations were gorgeous, and I loved the diversity and representation throughout the book. Almost any child could read this and see someone that looks like them and hear that they are enough. Such a precious story and one I think any parent should ready to their child!

The illustrations are beautiful. The diverse cast was great. The book isn't described as religious, but there are several references to "God." It would be helpful if this was part of the description so that patrons looking for religious books could find it.

Beautiful artwork with nice rhyming text. It is important for children to know that no matter what they are unique and always enough.
