Another great addition to the Dark Olympus series by Katee Robert. I loved this one. It was different than the other two, Neon Gods and Electric Idol. This one is about Helen, Patroclus, and Achilles; while the first two were about Demeter's daughters. I think that even though we took a step back from one family, this was still incredibly good. It had a different vibe to it than the other's did. But the romance was amazing, and hot! The love that these three have was incredible. I can't wait to see where Katee takes the series next!

4 stars. I loved this triad and I loved that all three main characters were fully formed. At one point the trials had my interest more than the romance which I count as a good sign. I am a fan of this series and definitely want more.
I also love how Robert handles race in this series. I don’t really see white authors calling white characters white and I am here for it. I believe she does this across the board.
Also! The world building and connection to her villains series. Yesss. I can’t wait to read more

⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
Wicked Beauty by Katee Robert is the third installment in the Dark Olympus series and follows the relationship between Achilles, Patroclus, and Helen as they battle for the title of Ares and to become one of the Thirteen in Olympus.
TW: Domestic abuse, mental abuse (alludes too)
I will be honest, I finished this book last week and have been thinking of this book and how I would review it ever since. I loved the idea of the relationship between Achilles, Patroclus, and Helen but I found that there was something missing. They are supposed to be a throuple but I find that there was no actual relationship building but instead they just jump into the spicy parts.
I loved the idea of the world but found that the world building was missing. I found that there was a lack of coherent setting descriptions which made it hard as a reader to really imagine the world that the characters were in.
However, the hardest part for me was that this was a retelling that deviated greatly from the actual history. I can admit that this is probably a biased statement, especially as a history major, but I felt that the book deviated too much from the history of Achilles, Patroclus, and Helen.
Overall, the story is an easy read but I felt that it was lacking in the realtionship and world building and missed the mark as a retelling. 3.5/5 stars.
Thank you to #netgalley and Sourcebooks Casablanca for the eARC in exchange for the honest review, all opinions are my own.

Is it just me or do these books just keep getting better and better? This book is absolutely sinful and I couldn't put it down! The prize is not only the title of Ares, but whoever wins gets to marry Helen. She's done being a pawn in the Olympus games so she enters the tournament herself. Helen, Achilles and Patroclus are all competing to become the new Ares. And competing for each other's hearts as well. And that ending! Gah! I LOVE IT!

I absolutely loved Wicked Beauty! It's a scorching hot take on the Helen myth with a power seeking Achilles and a Patroclus who only wants happiness for everyone. The story is fast paced, compelling, full of political intrigue and gives us more insight into the world of Olympus.
Thank you to Netgalley and the Publisher for the opportunity to read and review this title. All opinions and mistakes are my own.

My third visit to Olympus and I enjoyed Wicked Beauty. Helen was a great FMC!
We met Helen in Elctic Idol, and I was excited to read her book. I also loved that it was going to be MMF. Achilles and Patroclus were great, but I would have liked a little more background. At the start of the book, they were already an established couple, so we don’t get to see them fall for one another. Because honestly, I didn’t get what Patroclus saw in Achilles for a while. However, the end made up for a lot of that.
I loved the story. The world that Katee Robert has created is fantastic. The Thirteen are so exciting, and I love seeing how each one is different and how their titles pass. In Wicked Beauty, we gt much more insight into the world of the Thirteen. I liked the politics that came into play, and I hope they continue in the rest of the series. The Ares trial was so fun, and it was a great backdrop to the love story.
While Electric Idol is still my favorite, I really enjoyed this. Though I must admit, I would have liked just a little more MM with the F.

Another great entry into the Dark Olympus series! I will admit to being a little wary of the Helen, Patroclus, and Achilles trio, mainly because I wondered what the addition of Helen to an already established relationship would do to that relationship, but I was happy with the HEA.
This throuple is hot, hot, hot and each character brings something needed to the relationship. Ambition and military prowess, the ability to navigate the politics of Olympus, and the cunning to reason and plot it all out. These three are sure to become a powerhouse in the books to come and I look forward to seeing more of them.
I notice the next book is Apollo and Cassandra, which is fabulous, but I'm really looking forward to Zeus and Callisto's book. Fingers crossed it's coming soon.

This book was all things spicy and good!!! I love this series and this book!! Katee Robert’s can do no wrong!

actually quite good - the spice was great and the plot was not lost to the romance and helped grow the world that Robert seems to be increasingly growing throughout this series. definitely my favourite of the three so far

Unexpected but absolutely loved it!! Helen Kasios is tired of being a pawn for her siblings, she wants a seat at the table. When she takes a shot at becoming the next Ares, she doesn't expect to fall for the competition..
Achilles and Patroclus have a plan and that's to ensure Achilles wins. While Patroclus had a plan for everything, adding Helen to their bed was not one of them.
This book was fantastic! The twists and turns had you engaged. You didn't want the book to end.
I received an ARC, and this is my honest review.

Featuring a princess fighting for her own future and in the process letting off some steam with two sexy men, this was a quick read and hard to put down. While the sex scenes were great to read, there is something lacking to the throuple that makes Helen feel like a third wheel rather than an active participant. I probably would have preferred reading just Achilles and Patrolocus but did appreciate Helen making her stand as more than just a princess.

This is my favorite book so far in Katee Robert's Dark Olympus series. Achilles, Patroclus, and Helen of Troy are all in competition and, eventually, the same bed. Robert's signature spiciness is here and I felt like the characters were a bit better developed than in Dark Olympus #2. Would recommend.

Another brilliant installment in the Dark Olympus series! A perfect mix of plot and romance, you won't want to put this book down!

I utterly enjoyed reading this book!
First of all: the representation was soo good! I never read a book that had a character use they/them pronouns. I loved it.
The three main characters had a great dynamic and I loved them together as well as everyone on their own.
The plot would have still worked without spice (which I prefer) but the spice was of course a great bonus!
Don´t even get me started on the spice.. it was +chefs kiss+ 5 stars. Really well written.
Overall I enjoyed the plot as well as the spicy scenes a lot and would definitely recommend the book to every spicy romance reader!

I enjoyed this book, Katee Robert always has an interesting way of reimaninging a myth. The dark olympus series is no different. I went into this book blind and enjoyed. Katee Robert has a knack for writing complex relationships and characters. This book has polyamory and its difficult to write as you have 3 people in the relationship so you must write each persons relationship with one another and then as the group as a whole. Katee Robert did an amazing job of this and i got attached to Hellen, Achillies and Patroclus. I know there are some backlash on this book but in my experience it was a fun read and beautifully executed.

Thanks to the publisher for sending me an eARC for an honest review.

4.5/5 stars
I’m really enjoying this series, and after the things we learned at the end of this one, I’m excited to see where the author takes the next books.
Helen, Achilles, and Patroclus were all good characters. They were well written, and I liked them individually as well as together. I liked that Achilles and Patroclus are already in an open relationship when they introduce Helen into their unit. It created an interesting dynamic, but it also highlighted some of the emotions that both Achilles and Patroclus had to face. The chemistry between the characters was good, and I really liked the relationship.
I wish we’d gotten more of the other characters competing for Ares. The whole tournament in general felt like it was background for the relationship drama at times. I wanted to know more about the other characters that were mentioned. I also felt like the political aspect of the series was pushed to the background a bit. The politics were there, but didn’t feel as intense as in the previous books.
I did like this one a lot, and I thought it was a good addition to the series.

ARC provided by NetGalley for my honest opinion. Smut alert! If you love the smutty stuff, you will love this book. The remix twist was just the right amount of nail-biting suspense with heat.

Thank you NetGalley and Sourcebooks Casablanca for the ARC.
I had heard A LOT about the previous books from Katee Robert on TikTok. I had to request this one!!
Smut? There 👀🔥Definitely read if you're into it. Very steamy!!

I went in blind to this book. Beyond hearing of the author, I knew nothing about this book or what it was going to be about. I honestly thought it was a Snow White retelling, based off the cover, but Boy! Was I wrong! That's not a bad thing though. Not at all.
Having not read the previous books in the series, I was a bit caught off-guard by the first chapter. I'm not a follower of Greek mythology, so the names were a bit hard to keep straight at first. But I pushed through, and really started to get into it. Then I hit chapter 4 and realized this was not what I was expecting AT ALL, and I'm here for it.
This story was fantastic. It's like Hunger Games for adults. I loved the main characters. Helen seemed a bit like the little princess everyone thought she was, but she quickly showed she was so much more than a pretty face. I loved how brash Achilles was, how completely sure of himself he was, and how much he loved Patroclus, and eventually, Helen. And I loved Patroclus's deep thinking and consistency, and how his presence in the throuple was stabilizing.
I was biting my nails with my heart racing through the trials, and I loved the way it played out. It had me guessing right up to the end. The only thing I wish for was a few more chapters at the end to show the HEA in action. These characters were great, and I'm definitely interested in reading the other books in the series.

My Queen Katee can't do no wrong. I've read all of her books and every time I'm amazed by how she continously makes me fall in love with her writing. Wicked Beauty is the third book in the Dark Olympus series. They're interconnected but can all be read as standalones. I absolutely LOVED this one! The first book in the series, Neon Gods, completely blew up on social media. But for me Wicked Beauty is the current crown jewel of the series. I've read my fair share of Achilles retellings but this is my favorite without a doubt. The chemistry! The steam! The spice! The competition! The drama! It has it all and more. Fair warning: if you don't enjoy reading smut, this is not the book for you. But if you do.... go read this book because PHEW!
