Life is Sweet, Y'all is such a sweet little book. It is filled with yummy sounding recipes, bible verses, and tips. I am newer in the area of Bible study and I really enjoyed the book,. It is full of southern charm and I plan to get a physical copy of it when it publishes.

Thank you, Netgalley and the author/publisher, for the opportunity to read and review an advanced reader's copy of this book. This in no way affects my review, all opinions are my own.

Well, that wasn't what I expected! Don't get me wrong, it was a good book but that is about all there is to say about it. It was entertaining, some of the recipes were interesting and I hadn't heard of them before. However, this book taught nothing profound and the household tips may be useful for someone who never had to cook scrambled eggs and lives now on their own and has to cook some, if you know what I mean. Maybe if there had been some more in-depth thoughts of the subjects, it would have been a really great book. Alas, if you go to church on Sundays or watch some pastors on their YouTube channels, you basically already know the truths this book is trying to teach. I really wanted to love it, but it was just OK for me.

What a sweet devotional book with extra fun stuff...recipes, tidbits of house tips. It reminds me of the olden days when people spent time in the kitchen and took care of their families. Quick easy read and enjoyable. Good read and this is my honest opinion of this book for my honest review

“God never intended his children to live in fear.”

Such a delightful little book! The encouragements were as sweet as the included recipes. I enjoyed the practical tips. From the cute cover to the catchy Southern phrases, this pint-size devotional was a breath of fresh air in a throwback-style package.
