Another delightful book from Helena Hunting. STARRY-EYED LOVE gives the reader everything we expect from the author and romantic comedy.

A delightful story about three sisters running the family business, Starry Eyed Love is the second book in a three part series. It works as a stand alone; however, I didn’t know it was a trilogy and there are spoilers regarding the first sister. London is trying to get her business and personal lives on track, when she meets a handsome stranger who unexpected becomes involved in both, a few months later. As she navigates her feelings towards him, as well as with the business, she learns more about herself in the process. I thought this book was a bit deeper than most rom coms, and I look forward to reading the third installment,
I received a copy of this book from Net Galley and have written an objective review.

Highly entertaining, emotionally thrilling, sweetly sexy and action-packed adventure filled with witty and engaging charters, heart racing twists and thrilling passion. An edge of your seat exciting journey from beginning to end.

4.5-star!
I actually enjoyed this book more than the previous one (When Sparks Fly). It starts off very fun and promising: London Spark was in a bar with her sisters celebrating her new single status, Jackson Holt happened to be in the same bar with his friend, he approached her and asked her to go on a date with him, and of course she turned him down! Fast forward a couple months later, Spark House (run by the Spark sisters) got an amazing opportunity to work with a big name media company to help expand their hotel/event venue business to a much bigger scope than what it was now. And of course the CEO of this media company was none other than the man whom London turned down at the bar!
While it had a very exciting start, I felt the middle was a bit dragging because it was purely business interactions between them. I could understand why Jackson didn't want to blur the line between feelings and business, but their initial sparks seemed to be dimmed because of this. I do like both London and Jackson. She's a hard working woman, sweet and caring and considerate. He's a multi-millionaire but down to earth and generous. Their conflict towards the end could have been easily avoided with transparent communication, but thankfully, it didn't drag on for long. I also love the sisters' bond, especially how Harley is very protective and supportive of London (I did want to strangle Avery a few times, she wasn't this bad in her own book).
Overall, it's a light-hearted, low angst story with special connection between the couple through their shared past experiences and their genuine personalities. I really look forward to Harley's story next!
*Special thanks to SMP Romance for gifting me this book in exchange for my honest review.

It was a nice follow-up to the first book, nothing too excited and a usual plot but Helena Hunting's writing can stand on its own against any plot.

This is the second book in the series focused on London. She’s put her life on hold to keep the Spark house running smoothly. She really doesn’t have much of a choice since her sister Avery, from the first book, is completely consumed with planning her wedding while she neglects her work responsibilities.
This book was a cute romance with some steamy times with great characters that fit together so well even when they tried to ignore it. I really loved their banter and the mix of romance and business.

I love when a book can hit you in the feels. This was a fun romance where there is a lot of miscommunication between the two main characters and also the heroine and her sisters. There was growth for London as she learns to speak up and say her mind. And she learns to trust herself.
I'd mostly say this is for hose who just enjoy the ride and are not digging too deep into the story. Its an enjoyable experience and the three sisters are so fun. I plan to read the rest of the series now.

So great to be back at Spark House! I loved book and London's story. Can't wait for the next book from the Spark sisters!
Having just broken up with her boyfriend, London Spark is not in the mood to be hit on. Especially not when she’s out celebrating her single status with her sisters. So when a very attractive man pays for their drinks and then slips her his number, she passes it right back to him with a ‘thanks, but no thanks’. As the business administrator for their family’s event hotel, the Spark House, London has more important things to worry about, like bringing in new clientele.
As luck would have it, a multi-million-dollar company calls a few months later asking for a meeting to discuss a potential partnership, and London is eager to prove to her sisters, and herself, that she can land this deal. Just when she thinks she has nailed her presentation, the company’s CEO, Jackson Holt, walks in and inserts himself into the meeting. Not only that, but he also happens to be the same guy she turned down at the bar a few months ago.
As they begin to spend more time together, their working relationship blossoms into something more. It isn’t until their professional entanglements are finally over, that London and Jackson are finally ready to take the next step in their relationship. But between Jackson’s secretive past and London’s struggle with her sisters, London must question where she really stands - not just with Jackson, but with the Spark House, too.

This was such exceptional romance. My heart was touched so many times while reading this book. London and her two sisters Avery and Harley are running their third generation boutique hotel Spark House. London gets hit on by a handsome man in a bar when she is out with her sisters, but turns him down. I can’t imagine what she thought when three months later she has been asked to give a presentation about their green hotel to join a well known green association that will give their hotel much attention, Jackson (the man she turned down for a date) walks into the room. It had to be even more shocking when she finds out he is the CEO of a highly profitable green company handling the interviews.
I loved that he took her to his private office to talk to her. He was still interested in her, but would not mix business and pleasure. Jackson even offered to hold an auction at her hotel to show his wealthy friends what a gem of a hotel he found. I was glad that Jackson decided he would ask her out after the auction was over. Of course she was confused in the meantime as he kept giving her mixed signals. After the auction Jackson did ask her out. I loved the two together and how they were getting to know each other. Things started happening that hurt their relationship mostly because of misunderstandings. It broke my heart what they all went through. This is such a good book that I strongly encourage you to read it. I was given a copy from NetGallery and voluntarily wrote a review.

I really enjoyed this second installment of the Sparks sisters! And that's saying a lot, because I actually loved When Sparks Fly.
I always enjoy Ms. Hunting's writing, especially when she takes risks,as this is the mark of a true writer and not someone exclusively worried about sales ( although sales are obviously important).
Family dynamics, colleagues to lovers, secrets to light, and everything in between make this a very enjoyable read.
Another winner for Helena Hunting!

I love this series. The first book is definitely one of my favourites of the year. I really loved getting to know London more and the relationship in this one is so good! I love Jackson Holt he is such a cool character and I really enjoyed their whole dynamic.
I will say that I didn't love this one as much as the first. I feel like it painted Avery in such a bad way whereas the first book painted London in a bad way, so I was just kind of left confused a bit. I wish there was more tension resolved between the sisters. I feel like we kind of regressed on that front after the first book.

Thanks so much to the author, St. Martin's Griffin, and Netgalley for the gifted advanced e-copy of this book in exchange for my honest thoughts. All opinions are entirely my own. { partner } All of my reviews can also be found on Instagram @Tackling_TBR and on my blog at tacklingtbr.home.blog
TW: loss of parents, illness
This was such a sweet romance! And even though it is a second in a series (the first being When Sparks Fly), it follows the next eldest of the Spark sisters and can very easily stand all on it's own.
This is one of many many MANY billionaire (or royal) meets everyday citizen and instantly falls in love with them. Now don't get me wrong, I have nothing against those stories - I've sure read enough of them to know! But every once in a while I like those stories to have a little something different or special to make it stand out in the pack. This time around instead of the rich guy being the big, tough, alpha-guy, he's a sweet and goofy outdoorsy type.
And when I tell you I had a crush on this fictional man! Oh boy.
I also feel that the relationship between London and Jackson were really cute together, and their relationship felt very believable to me. While yes they are both slightly extraordinary people, it felt like they had a really ordinary love, in the best way possible.
Also I would really love to stay at, and have every event that I ever go to be held at, Spark House. It sounds just like this book - charming, and heartwarming, and prepared to make you feel like family.
Overall I would recommend this book to friends and readers. I think that the perfect way to read it would be on a warm summer night, sitting outside under the stars with a hot cup of tea.

Having met London’s sister Avery in When Sparks Fly, I was happy to see another of the Spark sisters getting her happy ending.
Helena Hunting’s rom-com feel from the first book, certainly is here also. But whereas Avery and Declan have a friends- to-lovers story, London and Jackson are certainly more of the enemies-to-lovers type. Although: they are not really enemies, but they keep each other on their toes. And since Spark House has become a partner of Jackson’s company, a relationship would not be professional. Therefore Jackson keeps his distance (or at least, tries to keep his distance). Having been burned before by a gold digging woman, Jackson’s friends are weary of him spending so much time with London. And London has a hard time, to keep up with Jackson’s changes in attitude toward her. Combined with the growing success of Spark House, the Esty webshop orders exploding and the wedding of Avery and Declan on the way, London has a hard time to keep herself afloat. So, something gotta give. But what will it be? The relationship with her sisters? Her own Esty business or Spark House? And how will she ever fit in a love life of her own? Find out for yourself in this cute and funny read. Four out of five stars from me and a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc.

Helena Hunting has done it again with another Spark sister😍😍😍 IS IT WEIRD THAT I WANT TO BE A SPARK SISTER😂😂😂 London Spark has sworn off men after everything that went down with her previous relationship. She even says no to the man who pays for her and her sisters' drinks at the bar that night, even if he's the most attractive man she's ever met. Fun London only exists when she's single, so that's who she'll be for the time being. Besides, she's too busy being the business administrative for her family business, Spark House, even if it isn't her dream job and she barely gets time to build up her dream Etsy business. But what happens when the hot man from the bar ALSO happens to be Jackson Holt, CEO of the multi-millionaire company that wants to partner with Spark House? Jackson and London are forced to work together, and despite the sparks appearing between them, they have to maintain a professional relationship. Even if they put work aside and try to date, Jackson's got bare baggage of his own involving his previous relationships, and London's also got a lot on her plate. There's Jackson who still isn't honest with his past and London who is overworked with Spark House and is still figuring out how to convince Avery that the business needs more helping hands. Let me tell you, this book will drive you crazy. BUT THAT'S WHAT MAKES THIS BOOK SO GOOD. The way London and Jackson bond over similar stories about losing their parents will make you cry your heart out😭 After the first Spark House series, I thought Avery and Declan were the best couple to ever exist, but nope, looks like London and Jackson are competing for that title...that is, if they end up together #nospoilers. CAN'T WAIT FOR HARLEY, THE FINAL SPARK SISTER, TO GET A BOOK OF HER OWN.

When I requested this book, I did not realize that it was the second in a series. I think reading the first book in the series before I read this one would have helped me better understand the characters and be more invested in Spark House. But that is on me! As a standalone book, I liked the character of London and how her relationship with Jackson grew.

I was so excited to return to Spark House; Colorado and the Spark sisters. London was enjoyable and I really thought would be my favorite. However the billionaire love interest is one of my least favorite. Mostly because the romance then becomes more escapism. I loved Avery’s book last year but she was quite annoying in this one. HH is wonderful when it comes to chemistry and I loved London and Jackson. Even if it wasn’t my favorite HH book, I’d still recommend it! I think book #3 will be my favorite!

I really really enjoyed this one. This couple is amazing and I love the chemistry and the snow burn and the small town girl big city boy vibes. I just all around loved it all!!!! Can’t wait until number 3 hits shelves!!

Helena Hunting is a newer author for me, but after loving the first Spark House book I knew I needed to continue the series - and Starry-Eyed Love did not disappoint. This one follows London and her love story, featuring an insta-love trope and workplace (ish?) romance. Jackson Holt is the very hot, very rich man who London meets in a bar and turns down, but he pops back up in relation to Spark House and they have to work together... closely. This book delves further into London's desire to lessen how involved she is in Spark House and really focus on her creative pursuits.
This was a really solid romance, Jackson was an instantly smitten hero and London was the unconvinced heroine who needed a lot of prodding to say finally say yes. There are some callbacks to the first book with Avery and there is more of a presence with the third sister since she and London live together. The writing is very reminiscent of Hunting's other books, so if you have read her before and enjoyed than you know what to expect.
This is written in dual POV, which is the absolute best format for romance books in my very expert opinion (lol). There's just something about knowing both sides motivations and how they are perceiving the tension leading into the romance. It heightens the entire reading experience and single POV just can't compare. Very much ready for the last sister's book now!
**Thank you to St. Martin's Press and Netgalley for an early copy in exchange for an honest review**

This book was hard to get into initially, but once it caught my attention it was impossible to put down.

I love these sisters and their bond. Such a good read. You will not be disappointed. The characters are amazing and the story captures you at the start.
