A mummy mouse lets her talkative baby leave the house for some quiet, before learning the error of her ways, in this fun little read for fun little readers. They'll like the way the squeaks of the mouseling get to fill the speech balloons to bursting, and they'll enjoy the subtle colouring of pale blue with hints of yellow and little else, that shows the animal designs to be among the best. The older audience members buying this or lending it out to them will find the moral, that sometimes a little monotonous jibber-jabber is actually welcome and makes a place feel like a loving home, to be questionable at times, but generally true. A strong four stars.

As someone who loves all rodents, I just had to read this. The story is simple but cute, though I would have preferred a deeper narrative. The illustrations are lovely and brought out this adorable tale.

Baby Squeaks is a wonderfully illustrated picture book about an extra squeaky baby mouse. His mom thinks his squeaking is just too much, until one day she can't find him and the squeaking eventually leads her to him. She now appreciates his squeaking and that she will always be able to find him.

This was a really cute book and I really liked the illustrations! I think I would definitely enjoy it more as a physical book because the Kindle version really splits up the pages.
