The audiobook for this one is fantastic, and I am leading with this as I definitely recommend reading it this way. Imogen Church is one of my favorites and she does an excellent job with this book. As you might guess from the title, within the homes on this street, it is anything but quiet. Cora, Paige, and Georgia each have something they have been or are going through, each have secrets. This took a minute for me to get into, wondering how it was all going to connect together. But once it did, it was brilliant. I love neighborhood drama stories and this one came together perfectly. I have not read this author before but I will be reading her backlist for sure.

Thank you to NetGalley and Graydon House for the digital copy to review.

I love a gossipy neighborhood cul-de-sac mystery but this one did not stand out to me at all. I felt the entire time that I had read it before but there is no way that would be possible! But the story of a hit and run, infidelity and drama felt really tired.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
On a Quiet Street by Serafina Nova Glass

“Once the curtains are pulled…. The street is not so quiet after all. “

A perfect family community called Brighton Hills is hiding more than the perfect housewives. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦The story is told by the perspective of the three main characters Paige, Cora and Georgia. 💁🏻‍♀️💁🏻‍♀️💁🏻‍♀️
Paige recently lost her son and has left her husband. The grief she’s feeling is unbearable, she is also feeling she is losing her mind like nothing seem clear for her.
Cora is feeling alone, she feels like her husband is not interested anymore, he’s checked out of the marriage and her Daugthers have left her aside and ignore her.
Georgia is very timid and does not interact with other around her. She’s always home and takes care of her baby. Dislikes to connect with others.
They’re all in a difficult place in different situations.

I really enjoyed that the book was based off each female perspective and there was not sugar coating. It was heart breaking to read what each were going through but Also how they developed in the story. I’m really glad the cheating characters got what they deserve!
I assure you that the plot twist will keep you hooked until the end.

Thank you @netgalley & @harpercollins for the ARC

I truly enjoyed this book ( as much as one can "enjoy" a book about domestic abuse). It started like any other domestic, neighborhood-centric thriller, but by the end it had taken an entirely different turn. I feel like the three main female characters and their secrets were revealed slowly enough to keep me interested and reading, but not so slow that it dragged. Fast paced, yet not breakneck speed, this book is a great new addition to the thriller genre.

TW: Domestic abuse, baby in potential danger.

Yes, all appears quiet in this exclusive Oregon neighborhood, but the truth is the homes are filled with adults who are full of lies and wickedness. Affairs, sex trafficking, drug abuse, and lots of alcohol are all part of these moneyed people and their manicured lawns. Seraphina Nova Glass writes a page-turning novel that keeps readers wondering who is doing what to whom next. Best character is Grant, the restaurant owner who is grieving the death of his adult son. Loneliness abounds.

DNF - Ultimately, I shouldn't have requested this book. I am by no means someone who can stomach the casual repetition of plots we've seen a thousand times over & so was bored with the concept quite immediately. I'm sure that people who revel in the genre will find this to be a super addition to their collections.

This neighborhood is anything but quiet!

After reading and loving Such a Good Wife, I was really excited to get to this one and it did not disappoint!

This story was bursting with compelling and complex characters and had such multilayered and riveting subplots full of secrets! I found it incredibly fast paced as I flew through this tangled web of lies and Brighton Hills truly proved that things are not always as they seem!

It was tense and addictive and I throughly enjoyed how relatable and realistic it felt throughout. All in all, it’s an extremely well done and highly entertaining suburban suspense read!

Not what I expected from the description, it wasn’t inaccurate, just didn’t speak to the complexity and connections of everyone’s issues.

On a Quiet Street by Seraphina Nova Glass is a thriller that has a great surface story and an even better undercurrent.
In other words, the different levels of this book are nuanced but complimentary. It makes for one heck of a novel.
Everyone has secrets, and nobody is telling the entire truth. In some ways, that makes each of the characters unreliable narrators. But that’s too simplistic.
There are layers to each of the main characters’ stories and they all intertwine seamlessly. But the reader doesn’t thoroughly understand that until they’re well into the book.
After a mysterious prologue, the action unfolds from alternating points of view between Paige, Cora, and Georgia. It took me a while to get a full feeling for each of them beyond their introductions.
I think that was by design, because of the secrets that each of them held.
It is actually a little difficult to write this review because there is so much detail, but also so much underneath the surface, that it would be easy to give something away.
Suffice to say that everything is really complicated until about halfway through when threads start to unravel, and the reader starts to find out the truth about…everything.
Like another book I recently read, there seems to be a bit of “men are bad” thing going on here. Of the three husbands to the three main characters, only Paige’s husband (Grant) isn’t a complete jerk (and that’s going easy on the other two).
But even he has his faults. But that’s okay because the women do too.
Once the revelations start to appear, the action really picks up and the last third of the book is a true page-turner. That’s not to say that the beginning wasn’t as well, but that was more “draw you in slowly with intrigue” page-turning, not “omg, what happens next!” page-turning.
The author does a fantastic job of illustrating how everyone has secrets of some kind, and you never really know what the truth is. Well, that, and you’ll probably start looking at your neighbors differently, wondering what they may be hiding.

SO good!! Started out as a domestic drama and I just wasn’t sure about it but once I got into the characters a little more I couldn’t put it down and then towards the end the twists just kept coming! Can’t believe I haven’t read a book by this author yet. Definitely recommend this to anyone who loves thrillers and/or domestic drama.

It is hard to rave about domestic dramas, when they are such a tough subject to read and hear about. The realness in this book was heavy.

In this rich gated community of Brighton Hills, everyone should feel safe right? Maybe from the outside world, but our your neighbors really who they say they are?

Paige, a grieving mom over the loss of her son and recently divorced, she kind of out of control. But, anyway would be after going through this.

Cora, unsure if anyone actually loves her. Stressful teenage daughter and probably cheater husband.

Georgia, avoids the neighbors completely and loves staying on her porch with her baby (I think this is my speed).

Each one of them carries a story throughout this book and the back and forth made you really care for each of them on a personal level.

This book has heavy triggers for abuse and domestic issues. Hard read if you have been through or no anyone that went through anything like this.

This is one of those thrillers that sneaks up on you and then BAM--you're sucked in and along for the ride. Relatable characters and excellent plot!

I loved this book! Three strong, female protagonists, each with a secret. And they were funny! I could picture this as a mini series on HBO. It was so well done.

Who doesn't love a chilling thriller set in a calm and quiet neighborhood? Okay, maybe those aren't the best if you're trying to sleep soundly... On a Quiet Street, written by Nova Glass, is an intriguing mystery waiting to be solved.

Where there is one secret, there are hundreds. Cora has a sinking suspicion that her husband is cheating on her. The situation quickly becomes more complex when she goes to a neighbor for help. Her neighbor has her own motivations for helping, while other secrets are all but demanding to be uncovered.

Ohhh. On a Quiet Street is such an intense domestic suspense novel! I feel like it's been a hot minute (read: realistically probably less than a month, given how many thrillers I read) since I read one quite this compelling.

I think the thing I loved the most about On a Quiet Street was its complexity. Every character had their own secret to hide and their own motivations for digging into the mysteries of others. It made for this twisty and dark tale that had shockingly human elements.

On a Quiet Street is split into three main perspectives. Cora, Paige, and Georgia. Cora, as mentioned above, thinks her husband is cheating on her. Paige is a grieving mother, having lost her son to a hit-and-run, and Georgia has her own set of complications to deal with, making it hard to ask others for help.

It's a lot but in the right balance. I hope that makes sense! I love thrillers that portray different characters, and Nova Glass did a brilliant job here. It was easy to become attached to all three women for different reasons. All of which helped to make the story more complicated and captivating.

This domestic thriller is a character driven book where this "perfect" neighborhood is wrapped up in secrets and lies. While I found the first half of the book to be a little drawn out and slow, the second half of the book picked up much more and had all the puzzle pieces coming together. Each chapter rotated through each of the three main women's point of views, which I found interesting, and I liked how all their individual stories tied together. The ending tied up a little too perfectly, but overall I did enjoy it, especially as I couldn't quite put together how exactly this would turn out. I think this is a great choice for someone looking for a slow-burn thriller.

The opening lines just suck you in and for the rest of the day all you are going to want to do is finish this book. Think you know your neighbors? Might want to guess again as they all have secrets.

One night Caleb is found dead in the neighborhood. The police say it was an accident. Paige thinks it was murder and is now watching all her neighbors closely to find out who did it and why?

Paige, Cora and Georgia are all going through stuff but together they make one great team!
