I love the sprawling worlds, similar to ours but not ours, that Guy Gavriel Kay creates for his characters to inhabit. This is the third book set in this near-Renaissance world. Readers of the previous two books will enjoy encountering familiar characters again, but it also stands on its own for those who haven't read the previous two books. A pleasure to read. Lenia was a fascinating character to spend time with. Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for the advance copy.

I've been seeing Guy Gavriel Kay's books being recommended here and there and this my first book from this author. All Seas of the World was very imaginative, a great blend of my favorite genres (sff and historical fiction). The writing was stellar and I am very much looking forward to reading Guy Gavriel Kay's other works.
