Absolutely bananas, I was hooked from page one. The dialogue is crisp and so realistically written. Noelle and Diamond stood out as particularly dimensional, but the whole cast of characters had my crazy heart. Utterly fun, engrossing, crazy, and perfect.

An amazing follow up to the first book, leaving off right where book one ended! Well written, intense, unputdownable, and chilling to the bone! Lots of twisty turns, thrills, and shocks! Highly recommend to my fellow thrill lovers, but make sure you read books one first, as I promise it’s a must!

Vanessa, the first wife of Cyrus Gray is dealing with the aftermath from the previous book. After the alarming discovery that her husband was not only unfaithful, she learned that he had married two other women. Naomi, a former model and Diamond, the woman that was with him when he was shot has now been accused of Cyrus’s attempted murder.

This is a multiple POV novel. In this book we get to hear Cyrus’s perspective. He’s a brutal, conniving man but it was interesting to read his arrogant viewpoint and possible discover why someone wanted to kill him. I had to roll my eyes a few times so that means he was written like the perfect antagonist.

I enjoyed so many things about this book from Vanessa’s bougie mother who drops some funny gems, it was good to see Naomi story develop and see what would happen to Diamond. If you like steamy bedroom scenes you get some of that too.

This was a page-turner and I don’t want to give too much away. This was a wonderful conclusion to this saga. I recommend this book to folks who love soap operas, thrillers, and romance. Thank you to Netgalley and Kensington for providing me with this ARC..

Shelley Ellis did not disappoint in this sequel. There were a few unanswered questions from the first book in the series, as well as some things that needed to be addressed. Ms. Ellis accomplished this and more. Cyrus Grey is like a cat with nine lives. He seems to land on his feet every time, no matter what happens. The Three Mrs. Greys, on the other hand, find out that life is still not a bed of roses, and Mr. Grey does not like to lose. Not only is he a liar and a cheat, but he is also deadly…to everybody. Drama? Check. Lies? Check. Deceit? Yes, ma’am. There were also some great surprises. What a wild ride, and I enjoyed every single minute! Thank you to NetGalley, the author and publisher for the opportunity to review this book.

Diamond might be the wife on trial for shooting that worm Cyrus but what about his other two wives? Did she really do it or did Noelle? Or Vanessa? These three women all thought they were the only one but who took their anger over the top? No spoilers from me. Noelle seems to be happy with Tariq but there's something lurking out there, something Vanessa knows all about. So hard to review without spoilers! There's a lot of drama here. Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC. This will probably be most appreciated by those who read and enjoyed the first book.

The sequel to The Three Mrs. Greys! The first book I read last year and was excited to read this prior to my book club reading it so I could share with them how much they need to read it and make it our April BOTM. I think it is definitely worthy of our book club and can't wait to see what everyone thinks. The story is just crazy! lol

This is book 2 of the series and it picks up exactly where book 1 left off. We find out that Cyrus isn’t dead, but that fact only leaves the wives’ lives in disarray. Ultimately, Cyrus’ near-death experience sets off his delusional and broiling rage as he attempts to exact revenge on everyone around him. The twist with Diamond’s story was the most enthralling one. It was unexpected and gave us hope. Noelle’s story, while it carried some predictability, still left us hoping she would get her HEA. Vanessa’s stupidity caused her to continue to spiral down the rabbit hole and proved that she was never a strong woman or great mother. Since Vanessa’s intentions were never pure at the start of her marriage with Cy, her breakdown seemed like natural karma. Vanessa and Cyrus were truly a match made in the pits of hell. Certain areas did quite add up, Tariq could’ve ended the feud between he and Cyrus in a way that kept him present and Vanessa’s phone call with Bilal would’ve be recorded so the fact that she didn’t end up in prison was a stretch. Ultimately, the story served as a great ending to this crazy farce of marriages.

Having loved the first book in the series, I couldn’t wait for for the sequel and was totally here for it! The storyline was even more fun in the most disturbing way and the characters were so engaging!

They’re back! In TRUTH LIES AND MR GREY, the sequel to The Three Mrs. Greys, Cyrus Grey is alive and well, although he deceptively has Vanessa waiting on him hand and foot while she thinks he is still bedridden. Cyrus is discovering what each of his wives have been up to while also planning to take his business back from his partner Tariq. When the wives become aware of his intent and his true personality, they question if it’s worth being married to him. One wife wants him dead; another wants to be left alone and the other holds out hope that he will continue to be the loving savior she needs.

The drama continues between Cyrus, Vanessa, Noelle and Diamond and I enjoyed this ride with them again. One thing that perplexed me though is that there was no interaction between the wives from the start of the book which seemed disjointed to me. As one of the wives, I would have been trying to legally work out the implications that Cyrus polygamist lifestyle has caused. Noelle and Diamond did develop a relationship near the end. As a crime drama, the book is somewhat predictable as there are no truly suspenseful moments. I stayed with novel to see how it will play out and I am still not sure if this is how the story ends.

This book was a bit of a slow build. In fact, there were several times where I made myself pick it back up so I could at least finish the story. Initially, I thought it was because it’d been a while since I read the first book in this series. However, this book reached back often enough to the first, so that wasn’t it. It just didn’t…grab me. Some parts also seemed pretty unrealistic and a bit far fetched. However, once I made it to…I’d say the last quarter or so of the book things picked up and I was all in for what would happen next. Overall, I like this author—I’ve read other books of hers that I did enjoy. This series is just not a favorite.

This is how you write a sequel!! Shelly Ellis answered all of our unanswered questions from book 1. The lies, secrets, and of course the truth came out. I was totally satisfied with the outcome of this story once everything was said and done. I highly recommend you read the series. Thank you to Netgalley and Kensington for providing me with this ARC.

I loved this book just as I did the first. It is told in alternating views from Cyrus Grey’s three wives. The plot was fast paced and I finished this book in a day. I enjoyed the drama and mystery. Thanks Kensington Publishers for allowing me to read an advance copy.

This was a fast-paced action pack book, although I never read the first book in the series, I was able to read this book as a standalone. I really enjoyed this book about three wives that all hate their husband and each one is determined to kill him, because of the things that he has done to each of them. Although they are in the mist of his trail for bigamy, he is also trying to figure out who has shot him. There were so many twists and turns in this book that keep you reading late in the night. I can’t want for the next book because it left on a cliff hanger. Thanks, Net gallery for the advance read.

Truth, Lies, and Mr. Grey
by Shell Ellis

I loved The Three Mrs. Greys
And like the first book the second was just as great!

This book was fast paced and full of drama.
Shelley Ellis did a fabulous job of joining all the characters together and creating a masterful storyline that had me rapidly turning pages and staying up into the early hours of the morning to find out what happened next.
The characters are interesting and the plot intriguing.
This story moves very quickly and pace was right on point.
I loved the writing style of Ellis. She can capture the readers attention like no other and hold them there to the wild ending.
This is definitely a novel you won't want to miss if you enjoyed the first book in the series.
