This is a very sweet, slow burn romance. Decker has just life his job as a police officer to go into work as a private investigator and his first job is to track down the newly discovered sister of a client. That sister happens to be Cara, daughter of a member of the Wind Dragon's MC. Her high school sweet heart is a Wind Dragon's member, they are now married and she never imagined not being with him, despite the fact that they seem to have grown apart and are no longer spending much of their time together anymore. At the start of the book she is questioning her relationship and how happy they really are together and if it isn't time to make a change. Soon after, Decker finds her and big changes start happening for both of them.

I really enjoyed the story - you get to follow along as Cara and Decker first meet and get to know each other and build their relationship. The only thing to note is this more MC adjacent as opposed to being a true MC book. There is some action and suspense that kicks in because of a situation involving Cara's ex-fiancé, and both Cara and Decker are in the thick of it, but the MC itself is more of a side backdrop than a large part of the story.

Decker's Dilemma is the first book in Chantal Fernando's new series, Knights & Dragons MC, bringing together two clubs from her previous series and revisiting some beloved characters. This book can be read as a full standalone though.

I actually wasn't sure how I would feel about this book since from previous books I thought Cara would be with someone different but I honestly loved Decker as her hero. He was so sweet with her but still had that badass vibe that I love about the characters in these books. Not that Cara needed someone to protect her, she was just as equally badass and wasn't afraid to put up a fight.

Overall, loved the characters, loved the romance, and love the excitement of waiting to see what will be next for this series.

I was so happy to hear that Chantal was going back to writing another Wind Dragons book. I absolutely love these guys and they have always given me a good laugh. To know that it was going to involve Rhett and Cara’s story had me waiting impatiently for their story to come out. Except Chantal threw in a curve ball, a new guy for Cara. I couldn’t wait to see how Rhett handled that. Unfortunately Rhett was busy as well. Which was what caused all of the problems between these two best friends. I wanted these two to be forevers, they stole my heart in Rake’s Redemption; but life had a way of changing things. Like Decker. Smooth, hot Decker. With Cara and Rhett being on the outs, gave him an in with her. Rhett and Cara have history, but will it be enough?

Decker’s Dilemma has us combining the world of the Knights of Fury and the Wind Dragon’s. Cara had her life planned and being on the back of her best friend’s bike was what it was supposed to be. However when life doesn’t go to plan and a man you never expected walks into your life can you move on. Decker and Cara have a chemistry that is electric and one that has you captivated by their story. You will be taken on the ride of your life from guilt, anger, angst, drama and passion. These two set the pages on fire and your heart will burst at what Decker will do to keep her safe. An absolutely entertaining love story that is also action packed.

Boy did Decker have a dilemma but I also think Cara had a dilemma. I like how Chantal takes a situation and does not let us off easy. He’s a bad guy so there is a good reason not to like him. Rhett is not a bad guy. Okay, he is kind of an a*hole for catting around but for the most part he does love Cara just in a different way. Enter Decker, the ex-cop, private investigator and overall sexy badass. Definitely not black and white but grey. There is quite a bit of grey in this story. I really enjoyed reading something that was different. Sometimes these types of stories get bogged down (in my opinion) with the minutia of everyday living not really progressing the story, but this story is not like that. It moved very fast.

BTW, the picture of Decker on the front of this book is smoking hot!

Decker’s Dilemma by Chantal Fernando looks at the characters Cara and Decker. Decker used to be a policeman, but things have changed and his new job as a PI and tracking down a half sister throws him into the path of MC Princess Cara. Schoolteacher Cara thought she had her life all planned out, but as we know, not everything goes to plan, especially when you want something more from life than just the ordinary. When Cara meets Decker, it may not be the best time, but that doesn’t mean that she isn’t going to go with her instincts and get to know the man a little better…no matter what trouble gets thrown her way!

I really enjoyed the mix of MC’s in this book/ Wind Dragons and The Knights Fury. If you’ve read previous books by Chantal Fernando, you’re going to see some old favourites pop up and they totally add to the story! Decker and Cara also just work as characters, they bring out the best in each other and definitely have some instant-attraction going on. Even though Decker is painted as a ladies’ man, when he meets Cara, he just knows that she is the one for him.

As this is the start to a new series, there is a lot going on with some well-placed action, passion and some great characters. I can’t wait to see what happens next!

ARC received for a fair, honest and sometimes long review. All opinions are my own. 😊

I love Chantal Fernando's MC club romances - and I think I like her MC Club Adjacent ones even better. We've seen Decker in quite a few of the Knights of Fury books - and really go to know him in Custom Love. He is a bit of a playboy, but anyone who has ever read a historical romance knows that reformed rake makes the best husband. At the start of the book he is taking a Private Investigator case to find a recently discovered sibling of a client. Little does he know - Cara is the best friend of his ex-partner's wife. When he encounters Cara - they connect immediately.

Cara's life - is completely in flux when she meets Decker. She is the midst of ending her relationship with Rhett - future leader of her father's MC - the Wind Dragons. This was the relationship she always thought she'd have - a love story for the ages - but maybe one that both she and Rhett grew away from.

One of the things I like best about Chantal Fernando's books is how seamlessly she works real life into these crazy complicated MCs. Even in the midst of a tense, life threatening situation - the realities of life continue and the relationships change and flex. As Decker says - Welcome to the grey.

I am very much looking forward to where this series goes - this is definitely a second generation of her Wind Dragon's series and interacts head on with her Knights of Fury one. So so good!

I received this as an ARC from NetGalley, but these opinions are all my own.

Cara is a strong, independent woman who can handle herself. What she thought was meant to be is not, only to realize when she meets Decker that he is her future and happily ever after. Decker is an alpha male, ex-cop, now a P.I. Their lives entertwine because it's a small world. A player finds the one woman that is different and he actually sees a future with. These two steamed up my kindle. Decker and Cara were so good together. They gave me all the feels. I loved seeing old friends and seeing these two worlds collide. I enjoyed this story and read it straight through. I cannot wait for more stories in the future

This is an amazing story! I’ve read the two previous MC series so the characters were familiar to me, but I don’t think you have to read the previous stories to enjoy this one. With that being said, I think you should at least read Clover’s and Felix’s story before this one just to get to know them more since they play such a big part in this story. Just my two cents.
Having these two MCs meet was perfect. I wondered if the interactions would be forced and they weren’t. The entire story flowed well.

Anyways, these two characters meet and it’s lust at first sight. Too bad Cara isn’t fully available… or is she?!?!
Decker has finally found his match and he’s not letting her get away that easily! I was Team Decker the entire book! I sure was rooting for him. Loved these two characters!

What a fun cross of series. I loved revisiting some favorite characters and seeing them cross paths and come together. I'm excited to see what's next for everyone!

Decker and Cara managed to take me on quite the ride! She’s fresh out of something big, on the verge of maybe having more family in her life, and Decker is the vehicle to drive much of that change. But Cara brings just as much change to his world. After all, for a guy who hasn’t found The One, it sure looks like Cara may just be exactly who he’s been waiting for. They just have to survive the danger that someone’s brought their way first.

I really enjoyed seeing a few of my favorites from this author’s last series, as well as some faces from one of her other MCs. Add to it the twists and questions about who may or may not have the best intentions at heart and I was hooked! So now I want more for Con, Simone, and maybe even Rhett. I mean, has he learned his lesson yet? Maybe. I guess we shall see.

I loved and enjoyed reading Decker's Dilemma, from beginning to end. I really admired Decker. And I thought that Cara handled the situation with Rhett well. This book was a lot about everybody Saving Face and keeping their dignity. The love scenes between Cara and Decker were steaming hot.

Ooh, what a start to this series. A series that brings together two of my favourite MCs, The Knights of Fury and the Wind Dragons. When ex police officer turned private investigator Seth Decker is hired to look for Cara Ward he gets more than he bargained for. He gets reunited with his ex partner and his FBI wife (both of whom were his friends when he was in the force), and ends up being welcomed into the Wind Dragons fold with open arms. This leads to him ‘volunteering’ to protect Cara from a gang set on revenge for her ex’s accidental wrongdoing. For being known as such a notorious player with the ladies, Decker really does have a truly wonderful, soft romantic side. I guess he just needed the right woman to bring it out. An enjoyable, addictive and super sexy action packed storyline that I enjoyed throughout. I am so looking forward to finding out what else is in store. I received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. This is my honest review.

Decker and Cara❤️

Decker’s Dilemma is the first book in the spin off series featuring the Knights and the Dragons MC and is certainly a book that flew by too quickly❣️

Cara is a high school teacher and is the daughter of a Dragon member. She meets Decker under suspicious circumstances but soon discovers why he was looking for her. Then when her life goes pear-shaped she decides to visit Clover and her family, only to meet up again with Decker where things get a little more complicated😉

A great story that was fast-paced and I enjoyed the story and characters and catching up with some old favourites🤩 I received an advanced copy via Netgalley and voluntarily leave my honest review😍
